Another round of thunderous booms echoed throughout the land and flashes of lightning lite up the dark sky. A chill ran down the young woman’s spine, feeling the breeze pick up and a cool chill brush her delicate bare skin. Concern flashed before her eyes, seeing the thunderstorm inching closer and closer with every passing hour. If she didn’t find a pokemon soon, she might be stuck in the rain. Sapphire digits flickered over the a pond in the distance, seeing what looked like a tentacool head pop out form the waters surface only to duck down again.[break][break]

A series of booms and flashes turned her attention back to the storm. “Rue,” the woman mumbled in a worry tone, “We need to find that last scatterbug soon. That storm is getting awfully close.” The Sylveon let out a meow, ribbons already around her arms as goose bumps formed over the skin not covered by her clothing. “Let’s keep going Rue. We should start heading towards the front office again. Just in case it does start before we are done. It looks like its going to be a nasty one.” With that, the pair started to head back to base in hopes they would run into one more scatterbug before they left.

The storm inched closer and closer with every passing moment. In the near distance, she could see the wardens office and someone yelling something though it was not audible to her. The once clear beautiful sky has turned a dark grey. A flash of lighting reached from on cloud to the next, a crackle of thunder made the woman jump in her own skin. Maybe even yelped. “I think should call it a day before we get hit by lightning Rue,” the woman mumbled, picking up her pace towards the wardens office, “We should be there in just a few minutes.”[break][break]

Suddenly a gastly appeared right in front of her, forcing the woman to stop in her tracks and scream. The gastly snickered before disappearing into thin air, no were to be seen. The woman stomped her foot, face turned into a scowl. “I hate that pokemon.” The woman pouted, hands balled up into fist as her arms crossed over her chest. “I swear that’s the same one from yesterday Rue.” The Sylveon let out a meow, urging her to keep moving as lighting skipped across the sky. “Oh right,” she blinked, turning her attention back to the building, “let’s go.”

“We are almost there Rue,” the woman told the Sylveon as they approach the office, not to far away now. It was only when she took one last look at the wilderness of the safari zone when she spotted a scatterbug climbing up the tree. Her gaze flickered to the warren who was calling everyone in because of the nasty storm that was about to hit. She bite her glossy pink pink, holding up her hand with one figure up indicated she just needed a moment.[break][break]

The woman quickly darted over the the tree, not even bothering to try and make friends with the pokemon. Once close enough, the woman tossed the ball. The ball hit the mark, sucking the creature in before it could hide in the tree. The woman fist pumped, but a clash of thunder quickly interrupted her moment of triumph. Her gaze flickered to the ball, hoping the capture would be success before the rain came and drenched her.
