The sun has barely risen but several trainers stand outside ready to tackle on the course before the summer heat comes into play. Dressed in a loose tank top and running shorts, Fernando stretches several times while he waits for the other participants to get into place. His company's title and fame rest on his own sponsorship, enlisting any and every trainer in an attempt to place on the leader board.

His opener strategy is simple; Smeargle will start with a TAILWIND to assist those coming in behind it. Being left behind will leave it MOODY but nothing it can't catch up to. A good leader empowers those behind them to ensure the team's success.

A Silph siphons that same power to ensure that he ends up leading the pack.

this was the nth time kyle has to run the course to get the best time possible. for some reason however, he finds it easier to do it with strangers than with fernando this time.

it starts to dash with agility as its moody temperament gets it skittish for the race. tailwind further supports the smeargle as it goes super fast all of a sudden.

he turns to fernando and smiles as he shrugs before running after his smeargle. he realizes that's what was nice with strangers: he doesn't feel the need to talk.

a nice tailwind blew through as kazimir managed to get his second wind and swim through the course once again without riding on his pokemon. torpedo had done most of the heavy lifting with his crazy like agility that he swear the shark was an actual torpedo sometimes. watching him swim through the waters like it was nothing was kind of amazing though, he had to give credit to the shark pulling off speed boost after speed boost as he swam through even small whirlpools put in his way to try and stop him. none of that worked and kaz had to make sure that he could do the same thing, it wasn't far that his sharpedo took the spot light now did it?

With the help of a tailwind, Oscar's Mega Blaziken had his fastest start yet. His normal mix of Agility and Speed Boost sent him flying from the get go. So fast was his start, that the blazing warrior was a blur to the human eye. Oscar remained at the starting line, astonished as his team rocketed into the distance.

Wincing a bit, he slid a lollipop into his mouth and sighed. How many times was he going to do this course? Hopefully this would be the last, if he got onto the top of the leader board he would never have to race again. That was the goal after all, to win. He wanted the glory of victory, it'd taste a lot sweeter than even his array of lollipops. He began to walk forward, for all he knew Grievous was already at the platforms half-way through the course.

[attr="class","spiral"]Watching everyone else jettison off only spurs the Smeargle to PSYCH UP. Fernando too kicks his running into gear only to pale in comparison. They continue the run but their initial start seems lackluster at best. Fernando attributes it to their first exercise for the day, well aware that he'll have to keep running throughout the day in order to conquer the time tables.

another agility aids its speed even if its moody behavior helps its haste. the smeargle continues to sprint through the course alongside everyone else.

the only good thing for this one is that at least tailwind helps the trainer too instead of just the pokemon, so that's nice.

the blonde trainer dove underwater to do a new section of the course, grab some rings and bring them towards the next checkpoint. he would say he was doing well for himself despite his sharpedo showing him up as the pokemon swam through the rings tearing them off their poles with his sharp teeth, kaz was kind of wondering how it didn't eat them on accident. he decided to focus on his own rings and swam as fast as he could back to the checkpoint with all of the rings that he could carry. his arms would be sore in the morning.

Grievous stopped in his tracks at the new water section. He had no idea how to tackle this, he couldn't swim. There was an option to go around, but it would probably slow down his time. Eh, he didn't have a choice. It was either take the slower time or drown, and honestly he couldn't be bothered to die today. He sprinted around the water and kept running on the other side.

Oscar showed up to the water as Grievous ran off down the rest of the track, so from his perspective Grievous magically learned how to swim. Oscar groaned as he slowly waded into the water. "Fuckin', no one said I'd have to put in effort." He dived down and gathered the rings, it took way longer than it probably should have but then again Oscar had the athletic ability of a sickly child. He burst onto the other side, soaked and pissed, throwing his rings down as he staggered forward to follow Grievous.

With a grunt, he grits his teeth while trying to propel himself closer toward his much faster Smeargle. He's never seen it run like that before.

kyle silently celebrates in his head when he sees the last stretch unfold before him. the finish line was near and all he had to do was give it a little bit more push.

together with his smeargle, kyle and his pokemon eventually reach the end. a fist hung in the air as he marks their short-lived victory.
