"you ready wooloo? one two threeeeee!" once again the little sheep was let loose to bumble his way through the course thanks to the protection gained by his cotton guard once again. this time they would make sure that they end up on those leader boards or go home crying like an anime fan on prom night. and neither of them were anime fans, well wooloo wasn't cause he reads light novels.

Finally a course that didn't rely too much on speed, something he feels hes been needing a break from. Most his pokemon seemed excited to compete in these however unlike the rest of them he had to compete in each one rather than just one like most of them were able. The jerks, they were all lucky they were cute. [break][break]

Even Russet was his though as the large pokemon puffed himself up with Cotton Guard as they waited for the starting bell before going.

It's a strange pick - a Gallade in a defense course.

But the psychic-type does not question his trainer's decision. He never does. Although he'd fit much better somewhere in the attack course, Katherine's Poliwhirl already took care of that. Arthur, however, was flexible and could deliver whatever was asked from him. "Just follow their move, Arthur."

Whereas the other pokemon produce cotton to enhance their defenses, his arms merely glow before he crosses them in an X formation.

Lars was truly a sadist for the ages. After having cleared the Attack course once, well…

He was back. Again. With the shades on.

And his Meditite now had this sadistic look on her face as she was out and about, spotting the Gallade who had imitated a move from another Pokémon…

Alright, this time it was going to be blocking all manner of things coming from multiple directions? So be it.

Lars could only sigh as he ate another chocolate-flavored shaved ice cone, keeping an eye on the loose cannon he was minding as she used Psych Up once more.

this time the little sheep pokemon was going on the offensive and he started to ram his way through the obstacles. was this a sign that he wanted to do the attack course next? "heh, show me how much power ya have an maaaaaybe i'll think about it." fluffing itself up with another cotton guard the wooloo happily let out a bleet as it charged straight ahead to prove to its trainer that it had what it took to do the attack course afterward. after all this fluff wasn't just for show!

Hearing the start bell Russet was quick to move, having done this before he understood the course better so wasn't as timid about falling off a before. He puffed up once more with COTTON GUARD to ensure their defense was at it's fullest as the pendulums came out going across the course. The Bouffalant able to repel one of them off it's fluff easily to ensure he and his trainer didn't fall off.

More cotton is produced to enhance the defenses of their course partners, a signal for Gallade to prepare himself as well. "Time to do it again, Arthur." His arms remained crossed, and the faint glow they flashed earlier makes a second appearance. It's brighter than before, the knightly pokemon was most certainly prepared for a real challenge now.

If it was anything that involved attacking, Lars was pretty certain that the Meditite would be all over it.

Anything else, she would just… blatantly ignore and set aside. However, he knew he had to have her cooperate, so…

“Do that again, will you?” he said, gesturing over at the Wooloo that had made its fleece appear even thicker than it had the last time. Sighing, the Meditite used Psych Up once more and bulked up her defenses, blatantly ignoring most objects that were sent flying her way.

Oh, how she wanted to lash out! But she had to practice restraint!

"let's keep the ball-i mean wooloo rolling!" with a kick kazimir sent his sheep rolling into a new obstacle for them to face, a punch of executes who were blocking their path. luckily wooloo's giant fluffy shield wouldn't hurt them but being run over by an oncoming wooloo was still not the most pleasant thing in the world. With the pendulums over and down with it was now time for the balls to be thrown at them. Razz making sure to stay behind his pokemon this time so that most of the balls would be reflected off him and he wouldn't have to worry for his blind side too much. It had happened the first time, and if it weren't for his partner here that would have been a bad head shot and easily knocked him off. Though now having done this a few he felt he had the hang of things for now.

With his defense maxed, Gallade moves on to deal with obstacles he needs to defend against with a different method: TELEPORT.

It's almost like cheating, but the psychic-type knows that it's much more simple and his trainer was more than used to the sensations it gave. He doesn't have to worry about taking a break, and so, a pink, bright light flashes with each subsequent TELEPORT. It illuminates the immediate area and paints it with shades of strawberry and peach.

Clearly, his Meditite was not having a good time in this course.

It was because of this observation that he was able to determine what her nickname would be, but he wasn’t going to drop that ball on the Meditite just yet—as there were several more obstacles coming their way and the best that she could do was to block them as best as she can by… merely dodging and getting out of the way.

And in some cases she had to ‘bounce back’ some of the things by letting them strike her before ‘repelling’ them away as best as she could manage with her restraint.

After the projectiles the onslaught just continued, now this time in the form of twirling padded wrecking balls. One of which seemed to hit Russet square on which made Razz grow concern. "Are you okay?" he went to the buffalo pokemon to confirm it's hoofs were pushed near the edge. But the double cotton did help as the pokemon confirmed him fine to not worry the Ranger. [break][break]

"Good just a little further then." Hopefully the two could push through enough now the the finish line was in site.
