[nospaces] [attr="class","sbody"] [attr="class","ihead"] MOD POST [attr="class","aname2"] READ CAREFULLY [attr="class","ipad"] YOUR TURN[break][break] - @arlette's vileplume has increased speed due to CHLOROPHYLL; however, the GIGA DRAIN seems to only scrape at the layers of ancient stone. the flower pokemon continues its onslaught, courageously.
- @andromeda's lions ROAR NOBLY, lowering the attack of the titan before WORKING THEMSELVES UP. they strike with FLAMETHROWER and OVERHEAT, the latter melting some of the regirock's stone carapace thanks to SUNNY DAY.
- zeke rainey rushes toward the survivors after calling for everyone to spread out and encircle the titan. his kabuto uses METAL SOUND to lower the defenses, the frequency chipping away at some stone before the MEGA DRAIN siphons a surprisingly small skein of life.[break][break]
the regirock retaliates, LOCKING ON to zeke rainey as the stones tremble underneath his feet. - Ava Rosewood's pidgey casts TAILWIND to hasten the party while rockruff tries to enclose the titan with a ROCK TOMB; however, the regirock is able to kick through the stones.[break][break]
Ava Rosewood's keen eyes eventually lead her to discover a shining, gleaming stone and some strains of mineral in the wall, no doubt made out of the same substance. - Vera Lindt takes cover with @alexander. her audino offers a HELPING HAND to the party, raising their attack. her levitating metagross launches a METEOR MASH, denting some of the rock body with the ferocity of its punches.
- Dallas Rhodes' slowpoke's DISABLE lands on time. the LOCK ON fails, the regi's eyes blinking in random, confusing patterns. his fletchinder charges forth with QUICK ATTACK and STEEL WING to knock off some rock.
- riley maddox's lampent evolves into chandelure! he fans out under zeke rainey's orders. his sunny castform shoots a FIRE-TYPE WEATHER BALL while his chandelure sends WILL-O-WISPS against the titan. the burn is successful, causing HEX to do double the damage.
- @silvia's sturdy bastiodon attacks the titan with ANCIENT POWER, the following IRON DEFENSE a preemptive countermeasure. one of the boulders collides with the titan, but the regirock is able to punch the rest into sand with one massive fist. her carbink fires a STONE EDGE toward the regirock, but the stones burst into dust upon impact.
- FERNANDO SILPH's kirlia prepares her group with FUTURE SIGHT. she DOUBLE TEAMS after firing a PSYCHIC against the titan. the regirock groans as its multiple eyes flicker, but is able to shrug off the mental assault with a dramatic stomp. his ditto attempts a TRANSFORM but is nowhere near powerful enough. yet.
- Malcolm Stone's oricorio looks for exits— rondé only discovers that the entrances they had come through are still open... for now. the glow of their sigils seems to be weakening. the SACRED SWORD from the SWORDS DANCED aegislash plunges toward one of the joints in regirock's arm; the impact is enough to stagger the titan, but it doesn't slice its arm off.
- @yiannis' umbreon launches into a FEINT ATTACK and CONFUSE RAY. the first strikes without fail, but the second seems to be swallowed by the mass of stone. the evasion is smart; the regirock stomps where the umbreon once was. afterward, ian's cloyster launches a barrage of ice, the AURORA BEAM slowing the creature's advance while ICICLES protrude out of its body like needles.
- leo del río's altaria tries to find a way out, but the bird dragon can only see the entrances from which they came. his DOUBLE-TEAMED absol's PSYCHO CUT slices into the regirock's body, chipping rock from its gargantuan build. leo del río's blissey HEAL PULSES kim cole-essam while he forcibly questions one of the explorers.[break][break]
a bearded explorer frantically responds, ”i-i don’t know how! it… it killed freddy. it killed him and klaus. shit! i don’t know…” his panicked eyes flicker back and forth between leo, the regirock… and the same shining stone Ava Rosewood is able to spot; however, that stone is too obscured by crumbling rock and pokemon attacks for leo del río to notice. - Bailey Cooper's togekiss cuts through the air, sending AIR SLASHES that hit regirock's left leg. chunks of stone fall off but the attacks are not enough to stagger a legendary. her kommo-o prepares itself with DRAGON DANCES.
- cila's sylveon changes the weather of the battle: a MISTY TERRAIN engulfs the low air, giving the darkened room a low hue of pink. her lanturn's HYDRO PUMP pummels against the titan, and froslass' WILL-O-WISP can't burn an already burned target.
- thalia black's flygon sends out a SUPERSONIC; the titan is smart enough to evade, but not fast enough to avoid the EARTH POWER that targets the ground below. the TOXIC misses, but the PROTECT looks to shield.
- DANIEL WALKER's aggron uses IRON DEFENSES and dragonair uses DRAGON DANCES, preparing to strike.
- persephone amavi's zoroark diguises her and Ava Rosewood, allowing them to examine the wall while her lucario sends a HEAL PULSE to aid the pokemon battling.
[break][break] REGIROCK'S TURN[break][break] the rescue team's constant attacks, one after the other, don't do enough to take down the titan. despite the fire scorching away at its body, the titan remains standing, angry as it stomps its giant foot into the ground. the impact causes a shock wave to ripple across the battlefield, conjuring a SANDSTORM as chunks of rock and dust look to damage. the MISTY TERRAIN fades away.[break][break] multiple STONE EDGES burst out of the ground, looking to target: both of @andromeda's pyroars, Dallas Rhodes' slowpoke, @silvia's bastiodon, Malcolm Stone's aegislash, @yiannis' umbreon, Bailey Cooper's togekiss, and persephone amavi's lucario.[break][break] please roll a 50 or higher to dodge it.[break][break] through the sandstorm, chunks of rocks start to gather as they float towards regirock. its eyes grow brighter as the rocks near it; this tells you one thing: regirock is starting to repair itself using rocks. hit the rocks away before it can heal![break][break] - those tagged above: please roll once to dodge it (if you choose to dodge), and then another time when/if you attack. should be 2 rolls max per post.
