The moment she had gotten out of the car she had ordered, Asteria was a nervous wreck. Thought she had yet to spot her dashing date, the butterflies in her stomach were letting her know that they were in rare form today. She had no idea why she had gotten so worked up over a simple date to get to know each other after such a long time and yet she couldn’t help but be overly conscious of every movement she was making. At this rate she was going to give herself a heart attack before the date even began! Scanning the area she finally caught sight of Thomas heading towards her, she waved as a big grin crossed her face. She completed her outfit and Asteria couldn’t help but blush, she had put some much effort into looking delectable that well hearing the statement out loud was just to much to handle at the moment.”You look rather dashing yourself Thomas, I didn’t know you could clean up so well” she beamed, he did look rather devilish this time around and well with her overly heightened senses at the moment well she could have died right here.

“so this is.. a museum oh that sounds rather interesting what exactly are we viewing or is that suppose to be a surprise as well?”

Asteria had spent the last seven hours attempting to put something together that she thought fit the part for this event, like she was trying to out model someone when in reality she would be the only girl getting the attention (she hoped). It wasn’t like she and Thomas really had anything going for them besides the fact that they knew each other from the past and it wasn’t like she knew much in the way of his life style or well anything really about him. Now that her brain had begun to think about it was… was this even really considered a date to him? Asteria shook her head to rid herself of the thoughts, there was no point getting overly worked up over the minor details. The point was that he wanted to have some alone time at a nice place with her and regardless of what anyone said she was going to consider this a date! The matter at hand currently was how to get over the piles of clothing she had been sorting through and tossing aside when they didn’t fit the look she was trying to achieve. The down side of being a model was she had two rooms full of clothing and well that was far to many options with a girl who couldn’t make a choice to save her life!

After toppling over a mound of clothing and accessories, Asteria worked on the finishing touches of her presentation. Feeling completely confident in her choices (and well also because she had run out of time now) the less then certain girl headed out the door with far to much excitement and butterflies filling her stomach. They had some how decided on a museum she had never been to but the address he had written down for her was handed off rather shakily to the driver she had called for earlier. It had almost killed her not to look up the address and see just exactly what was located there but well Asteria had wanted to keep everything about this date adventure a secret in order to make it that much more thrilling. If she was going to be excited and enjoying her time with Thomas why ruin it by being far to paranoid about the details? Though in Asteria’s case she never was the planned type.

It had waved at her… wait had she just called another girl it?!?!?!?! with a long mental sigh Asteria tried to regain what little person-ability she had left and smiled back at the girl, a quick hand wave back as she bend down to gather more trash into her bag. Asteria glanced back at Teddiursa had been put in charge of making sure her munchlax was not snacking on the beach trash and actually putting it into the shared bag between the three of them. Cubchoo had been tasked with making sure Teddiursa didn’t take her authority to far and pick on the poor munchlax. They were a complicated trio who liked to drive Asteria insane when they found themselves bored or left to their own devices while she was working on her shoots. The three little bears were thankfully working diligently together without causing much trouble, giggling every now and again as they made a bit of mischief here and there. At least it was rather peaceful on the beach, well that was until Asteria noticed a few glaces from a lens on the opposite side of the beach. Her announcement to take an indifferent break from her career had taken a few people by shock and no doubt they thought they might catch something juicy if they followed her around long enough.

True to form as it were, getting back into a normal life was well… far more tiresome then Asteria had been lead to believe. She hadn’t completely given up on her job as a model but well with getting a bit more serious in the romance department with Thomas had lead her taking on so many jobs and to put her foot down when she really wanted to spend time in her new found life. Reaching out she picked up another piece of trash from the sand before putting it into the bag she was holding, this was technically a job after all and well she just couldn’t sit around all day doing nothing. How she had managed to get roped into picking up trash on the beach was one thing but doing it with some stranger whom she had met literally five minutes ago was, well you would think that people skills would have been off the charts for Asteria. It was far more doable when she had something to express, after all she had learned so many lines about pokejuice that she had tons of lines to spit out, but starting a normal conversation and with a girl no less! It was like she was being punished for something.

It was kind of cute that he was for some reason worried about her safety but what he failed to realize was that she was a big girl now and she could take care of herself. She wasn’t the same little girl who had needed his help rescuing her Pokemon so many years ago. Though she supposed there was nothing wrong with letting him keep the image of the little damsel in distress for a little while longer. It was nice to see that he had somewhat remained the same person she had knew so long ago, thought that eye patch was new. She supposed there was a long adventure behind that but it felt rather wrong to just ask him out of the blue about it. Instead Asteria did her best to pay her attention to the curve of his lips as they moved, however falsely they tried to remain in a smile. Asteria’s brow perked at the line he had just uttered, wondering how insane things could have been for him to mention it. Thought he did seemed a little worried when she said her vacation was to be in Hoenn, perhaps something sinister was going on? Well who was she to get involved with something silly like that.

“oh” she blurted out accidentally, she had not wanted to sound so surprised at the news but well he had always talked greatly about working for Interpol, so for him to have resigned something major must have happened. The bar setting however was clearly not the proper place to discuss anything of the sort or well that was how Asteria felt anyways, despite the sad situation it would give her another chance to meet up with him. The way his expression had dropped at the mention of it told her that even if she wanted to meet up again and let him tell her about it she doubted her would, though Thomas was the type to surprise her when she least expected it. He made sure to switch the conversation back to something light hearted, “oh that silly little baby, the lot of them are back at the hotel. Apparently they have a little Pokemon spa for them to relax and a play area so they can mingle with other Pokemon. So for now I think they are really enjoying themselves” she giggled.

It wasn’t every day that the random girl at the bar you were trying to hit on managed to know the wing man you had invited along, the poor mans face at the realization of his chances of having any chance to get to know her were now slim to none. Not that Asteria had ever thought about letting him get to into his work, it was a flattering chance none the less but well he just wasn’t her type after all. Asteria smiled as Thomas explained a bit of their history, their school life together had been rather uneventful until the kidnapping. It wasn’t until then that Asteria had really taken notice of Thomas but well that part wasn’t important right now. Thomas’s friend was quick to give up, thought it seemed this was not the last stance. Some poor girl would now have to deal with him trying even harder to make up for his first loss. Asteria couldn’t help but give a chuckle at Thomas’s words, he seemed like a nice guy thought as dating material ...eh. Following his question Asteria motioned for him to take the seat across her, she had come alone and a bit of catching up while having a nice drink seemed like the best way to help keep this vacation rolling.

It was rather mind blowing that she and Thomas would meet like this after all the years they had been apart, not like the two of them had anything special before but well she had sort of developed a rather hard crush on him after he had saved her Pokemon. Thought it wasn’t long before they had parted ways and the little time she had spent trying to get to know him had all be for not. Afterwords she had moved on to bigger things, never really forgetting her first crush but well knowing the possibility of ever seeing him again well she had thought it was a one in a million chance. Especially since she had lost track of him three years after high school. “well despite its current on goings I’m on a little vacation from work and well we just happened to be in Hoenn this time around. I finally told my agent that I was taking a break wither she liked it or not and well here I am out on a little adventure for the day!” she told him rather cheerfully.

Taking another sip of her drink, Asteria wondered what else she should tell him about her life. Would he be impressed with her current job? No doubt he would ask about the Pokemon he had rescued so many years ago, those little babies had been left behind to give her a break as well. She hoped he wouldn’t ask to see them or well maybe he would and she could bring him back to her hotel? “I have been doing pretty great actually! Life had been going rather well for me at the moment I really can’t complain to much you know?” she smiled at him “what about yourself?”
