once the information was attained, the xatu would close its wings and quickly teleport to abner's location, the trance set on the couple lifted as suddenly as it veiled over them.

once boobie traps came up, the xatu gained some sort of expression. it's eyes narrowed as it sent a message to his mind.

"do you think those old people are capable of crafting a machine that traps breast? it sounds dangerous so i'll try and disarm any i find."

the xatu's form of disarming meant shooting an ominous wind throughout the temple, in an attempt to trip any traps that lay within. nothing, but one could never be too careful.

"excuse me."

it would message, using psychic to pick up the man and tote him into the temple.

"guide me to the artifact."

keeping its wings extended it would radiate a blue hue, the scenery suddenly shifting to slateport, in front it the cities main pokemon center.

the nausea would kick in briefly after, gloriously hitting him all at once.

"is this good enough, or would you like to go elsewhere?"

what the hell was he thinking? was he really trying to bring more attention to them.

she'd whip out a face mask, quickly pulling it over her face in an attempt to further conceal her identity. it wasn't until he decided to beat some poor boy up that she'd give turn to him, giving him more than just a one worded response.

"don't cause any trouble for me."

she was trying her best to keep a low profile, but if this bad behavior kept up, she would have to cut this short and get out of here as soon as she could. she cared for the beach but not as much as she cared for herself.

she kept her the xatu's pokeball close, ready to dip as soon as more attention decided to focus on them.

smiling brightly, she'd inch closer to him, getting real close and standing on her toes to try and reach his height.

in a hushed tone, she would speak, her words like venom knowing at his ear.

"if you blow my cover and out me as a rocket, i will see to it that you go through worst possible pain you can imagine before i personally take a knife to your throat and slit it myself."

she'd smile returning to ground level before rushing off on her own.

"try to keep up slowpoke!" she'd giggle before turning around.

"that is not how xatu- or at least this xatu- work, my friend. but we can try something else."

stepping before the two, the xatu would spread it's wings wide, a confuse ray trapping the two couple in place as they stared blankly at the pokemon.

"try questioning them now."

the pokemon could only hope the man was not dumb enough to look into the confuse ray.

"you asked, and i delivered."

was the pokemons response, words jumbling in his already dizzied mind.

as he made his moves, the xatu would turn to look through the shutters. people, awake and moving through the mall, obviously looking for the source, would gaze about, and once their eyes peered at the shop, they would immediately turn away.

the xatu, with its wings spread open, would produce a confuse ray towards the people, their attentions scattered if they dared to look into the store which prompted them to keep moving forward.

a vague response from the vague woman, mostly aiming to keep him off her ass. she hoped that he'd get the picture that she was not in the talking mood- nor would she be- after the intentional ignoring of him that she tried so hard to do.

"well, the poo scoopin' doesn't sound all that great, but the fact that we get to help people as well as get a little experience with farming is exciting!"

picking up her pace, she'd move to sign in before the the man, jittery and impatient as she waited for him to do the same.

"c'mon, there's a lot to be done in the time we've got to do it!"

while her outward self was ever eager, her internal self was retching- ready to get this over with as quickly as she could so she could go home and lie down.

the xatu would follow behind closely, its feet carrying it up the stairs.

during all this, the xatu would remain still, diligently awaiting its instructions as the emp caused did its work.

once the man had returned his gaze the xatu would nod slightly, spreading its wings .

"as you wish."

the scenery around them would seamlessly change, the sudden shift causing a mild sense of nausea to the man as they stood side by side.

"done."

the xatu would communicate, staying in place until told to do otherwise.

she did not appreciate idle chatter, she got enough of that with the people she fooled into thinking her friendly.

a simple, "yes." was given in response, nothing more uttered from her as she continued to pick at the trash.

the only thing good that could possibly come out of this, other than the satisfaction of a job well done, would be the praise she could get if some outsider had seen her on this beach and praised her for being bold enough to be here. she didn't even want to think about what they would think if they foundout who she really was.

now this, this was something marie could be seen doing. something like robbing old people or stealing stones? no, but shoveling shit? people do that all the time, and they get paid for it.

not like she needs the money, but hey, it's good for her image. it'll just show her as the type of girl thats not afraid to get her hands dirty and is willing to do a good deed... right?

anyways, once she met up with the familliar face, she'd give a smile, a happy-go-lucky mindset pushing her into that role.

"shall we get to work, 'pardner'" she teased cheerfully, her civilian persona in effect.

yet another mission she could not do herself was handed to her. but hey, a familliar face would appear before the man once more.

the same xatu that once accompanied him teleported itself before him yet again. it's dead eyes staring into his soul as it greeted the man.

"we meet again, i hope this does not become a habit."

these words bounded through the mans mind, its source the xatu before him.

while marie was all about helping where she could, she absolutley could not be spotted stealing jewelry. that's why she sent someone in her place, or... something?

she sent her xatu. the pokemon seemed to make itself quite useful, whether it be with its psychic abilities or otherwise, and it seemed like the perfect pokemon to be the getaway driver.

it would quickly appear before the man in a flash, a voice telepathically communicating to him.

"tell me what to do and i'll do it" were the words shifted into his mind.

this xatu was really useful for getting in and out of places unseen, its ability to teleport it was a lifesaver.

she couldn't be seen just walking into slateport, she had a reputation to keep up, but there were some things that needed upkeep even in the trash dump of the city.

before its takeover she enjoyed spending her days on the beach of slateport, and the fact of the matter that the people who lived here now didn't give a damn about it, irked her. it was up to hear to maintain some semblance of culture here and after requesting someone to help her, she would arrive to the mans location. heavy winter clothes covering her form with a beanie covering her hair.

she had to to keep herself as hidden as she could here, you never know who was watching.

"lets get this over with."

she'd say, putting out a trash bag as well as a skewer from the coat and starting to pick at the trash.
