"Yeah, yeah. I'm-" He trailed off, finally managing to rub off any dirt and dust that might have irritated his eyes. Though they were still watery and most certainly not open fully; he could already see who it was that came rushing towards him. The woman behind the ruckus. "Stormy Silph?" He asked, recognizing the woman from his vast journalistic research; plus, who wouldn't remember a natural hottie? "I mean-"

"Jak Preach. I'm fine, thankfully." He cleared his throat. "We're out here searching for allies, thankfully brought Beatz out mere minutes ago. Speaking of..."

A wild rilou came in, most likely curious as to what the who ruckus were. The exploud had only recovered from the surprise bulldoze yet is already raring for more action. Jak pointed towards the rilou, knowing what it had to do, the exploud leapt towards the wild humanoid canine and landed with a menacing crunch using its gaping maw.

The rilou retaliated with rock smash, however, the exploud's already fed up with rocks for the meantime. Beatz gave the rilou a harder crunch, enough to weaken the mon.

"I've recently immigrated here on Hoenn." He shared. "Maybe you could fill me in on all the big details as of recent? I'd like to think that you've got a handful of spicy deets?" He smiled. A sly attempt to get some information, for of course, who was he to let the opportunity slide? He threw an empty ball towards the weakened rilou.

"Don't mention it!" He replied with a nod as he disposed of whatever his poker might have poked into his trash bag. "I'm looking to join the ranks sometime soon, here's for a good first step." He added

"I suppose I'll have to contact you soon on a more professional note." Jak shrugged. By now, the journalist knew of the two prominent ranger figures; Stormy Silph and Sénon Game . Though merely acquaintances, he looked forward to work under their tutelage and hopefully rise the ranks himself.

Not to mention all the exclusive scoops he could amass working as a ranger. All the action shots, he thought, would be nothing short from perfect.

"... and that's it for the ranger reception." And cut. The exploud lowered the camera and handed it towards Jak who then turned it off for the meantime. The exploud also released the tripod it held on his other hand, handing it off to Jak. "Good going pal." He said, tapping the button of exploud's pokeball which then recalls the pokemon. With the news camera now on his hands, Jak turned it back on and started filming footage of his own.

Three prominent figures could be seen nearby; Sénon Game , Stormy Silph , and Laurence Anderson ; all regarded as high ranking rangers of Hoenn. Jak stood the tripod up and propped the news camera to continue rolling. Slung on his neck was his DLSR camera which he then raised before his face.

"Hey everyone! Let's get some quick snaps!" He exclaimed with one hand raised.

"We're here at Slateport park where a clean up drive is currently ongoing brought to you by Hoenn's very own; Stormy Silph!" He exclaimed, allowing the mic clipped on his shirt to pick up what he had said. He held a poker on his left and a black bag on his right. "And we're here to participate. Come on down to Slateport park and join us on a noble cause."

The exploud held the camera up, recording Jak's exclusive scoop. Signalling the cut, exploud lowered the camera and handed it towards Jak who then turned it off. "Here pal, get it back on the van." He said, which the exploud followed shortly after, carrying the news camera back to their van.

Jak started picking up trash with his poker, for of course, what he said and did shouldn't be just for show.

"One's personal, one's for business." He replied. "Plus I'm very much concerned with data privacy, you never know now with all those porygons and rotoms running amuck. Especially with my hopes on joining the field of journalism." Jak flashed a bright smile towards Kyle.

As Kyle finished with his input, Jak kept the phone back to his pocket. "You best know I will!" He exclaimed and gave Kyle a friendly wave in return.

Jak ran off to exit the faire. Given the time, he had more than enough to reach Vantage's headquarters no sweat. With his fingers crossed, he hoped what Kyle had told him to be true; he's getting that job, that's for sure.
