Her arms are wrapped around her bag as she squeezes and shuffles her way through the crowd, apologies murmured as she earns herself a dirty look or two. At the very least, they aren't getting shoved about by a Luxray. Arceus, Reiner would have hated walking here.[break][break]

It's only when she crests the museum steps that she dares let him out, a roll of his eyes and the scrunch of his nose telling her what she already knows. So she winds up rolling her own eyes, butting her shoulder against his as she leads the way into the museum.[break][break]

Straight towards the information desk she goes, a polite question of where a certain Yuina Higashi's office may be. The lady that attends to her seems a little surprised. Then again, that exchange of messages doesn't look forged in the slightest. Why would they be? What's a child possibly going to do to that poor lady?[break][break]

With a guide by her side, the walk to the office isn't hard at all. Hell, they even have a nice little conversation about the new cafe just two blocks away. At least, until their arrival at her destination breaks the flow. A sharp rap of knuckles against the door, the lady gives her a quiet smile and an encouraging thumbs up before she takes her leave.[break][break]

Well, nothing to lose. One hand twisting the handle, she pushes the door ajar.[break][break]

"Miss Yuina? Are you busy?"

Covered almost head to toe in bandages and clothes, the sun cruelly mocks her travels across the endless dunes. And yet there is comfort in knowing that the winds do not blow. That they do not brush against her figure and attempt to cook her alive, or swallow her in a howling sandstorm.[break][break]

Better yet, it gifts her the chance to seek, to follow the trails of shifting rocks and sand with a dogged passion.

Why is it that she only dares to speak up when things start to spiral? Is keeping quiet her plan to succeed and survive through any situation until it becomes too late? They stop, loosing the hold they attempt to possess over the man.[break][break]

The anger is no longer his alone. Those eyes bright as a setting sun, narrowed as they fall upon Eris. And there will be no escape from their ire, not even the deepest and darkest shadows of despair.[break][break]

"I asked them to." She chokes. Like a rabbit trapped and thrown before a growing fire, she can feel both of them rage: Searing her lips, scorching her skin. "I stole the chance from you."[break][break]

For Petalburg's sake. For his sake.[break][break]

"After all you did..."[break][break]

Not only does she dare to desecrate this place with her refusal to help right this wrong. She lies, just like she does with so much more.[break][break]

She couldn't let him die. For her sake, and hers alone.

Are they still friends? Were they even friends to begin with? Or is Cass simply attempting to make up with her because they are arbitrarily connected by the Lake Guardians? She is silent for a moment after the other speaks, requires time that she just doesn't have to process it.[break][break]

The Baltoy watch from high up above, cautious of the duo that have just tag-teamed an aggressive Gligar. Should they approach or is it wiser to simply run away -[break][break]

Turns out that the little Ralts won't give them a choice, a small burst of Mystical Power fired at them without warning and taking one of them by surprise. It's an instant knock-out, the poor Baltoy thrown from the tree branch as Reiner flicks a pokeball in Eris' stead.[break][break]

"You know' I'm glad to see you two getting along and all. But what in the world are you two doing?"

Isolde tilts her head at the wave, as if attempting to understand what that gesture could possibly mean. And eventually she raises her hand to wave back, cooing as if attempting to greet Keiko.[break][break]

"Anyways, we've got plenty of time before we reach our destination." An invitation for her to try. "Is Sinnoh and Almighty Sinnoh different from each other?" A prompt to perhaps guide her train of thoughts.
