Callie raises a burnt arm as if to block from the pokeball, yet it doesn't strike. She huffs when the Donphan is summoned, nodding to her pokemon.[break][break]

The Pidgeot croons, lifting himself higher into the air. Wing catches under wing, which sharpens into blades, kicked up and sped up as a Hurricane is launched at the other pokemon. Perhaps to dislodge it, perhaps just to see what damage could be done.[break][break]

Calliope frowns, when she glances at the battle, mentally calculating how her pokemon would fair in this.

kasper vs calliope [skirmish]

The Sylveon falls. The Dragonite doesn't allow kasper thaler too much leeway. There's only just enough time for the Lycanroc to materialize before the Dragonite is whipping around, tail twisting around her, so she can try and slam a Wing Attack against the other.[break][break]

Instead of taking off Kasper's head, it meets the Lycanroc's jaws. Blood wells up from under scales where teeth pierce, yet the Dragonite keeps pushing.[break][break]

Callie picks her way over the corpses, picking her way closer through the field between them. A knife shines in her hands, blade thirsty. The intention is clear:[break][break]

If the Dragonite didn't finish Kasper, Callie would do it with her own hands.

The sunlight turned harsh.[break][break]

Rising like a specter from the field, Calliope stands over the fallen bodies of the Rockets beneath her feet. A sharp implement is in hand; not even a knife, but a sliver of glass that cuts into her own palm. Blood splatters stark red against the whites and browns of her outfit.[break][break]

She turns to face dorian westcliff, one eye shining with blood-lust.[break][break]

"You." Is hissed out, though the man may be too far away to hear her.[break][break]

Her expression morphs into a hateful snarl.[break][break]

A plain pokeball is tossed from her hip, releasing a Pidgeot. The large bird gives a great cry before whipping up a tailwind behind himself.

kasper vs calliope [skirmish]

As it turned out, despite how kasper thaler might feel in the moment, they had picked a very bad target.[break][break]

Calliope paused as she watched the burning corpse of a jeep crackling and burning before her. The people inside had stopped screaming a while ago. Now, it only served to fuel to rage as she watched it crackle.[break][break]

When Calliope turned to face Kasper, Kasper might hear boss music start to play.[break][break]

A plain, regular pokeball is tossed out, flying straight and true despite Calliope's missing eye. She didn't even bother to answer the Rocket scum, only narrowing her one eye with killing intent. The Dragonite that is called out roars in anger before charging headfirst for Kasper and their pokemon. Fists light up and crackle, dancing with a Thunder Punch aimed for the duo.

Flat, unbothered, moisturized in her reply. Calliope doesn't slowly turns from examining the ice cracking into the walls and looks the interloper over. It's a slow drag of her single eye, from circe crowley's feet all the way up to her face; she only lingers on the woman's chest for a fraction of a moment longer than the rest of her.[break][break]

"What are you doing here?"[break][break]

Callie's gaze lingers on the hiking boots and backpack as she says it. Her own clothes are more reserved for this kind of trip. Her own pokemon, a Charmander, lingering close to her side. It stared at it's fellow fire type with curious eyes.

The Swampert moves, so the Dratini does as well. He springs forward, a Dragon Breath fizzling in the water to help run the Huntail away. [break][break]

KING WAYLAND collects the Clamperl's goods and Callie hangs behind. She glances around the area, keeping an eye out for any Gorebyss who might be hiding in the shadows. They might try and attack back unlike the Huntail.[break][break]

When none appear and King seems satisfied, she follows after him yet again.

KING WAYLAND motions to the Clamperl, and Callie gives another nod. The pearl was valuable, but the cluster of them were also most likely in the way of whatever construction was happening. Chasing them off would be beneficial in more than one way.[break][break]

She made her own motion, to her Dratini. The little dragon COILed himself like a spring, ready to strike when given the order.

The Dratini continues to trail after the Swampert like a puppy. It sticks close, pink scales flashing in the dim light of the water.[break][break]

Callie observes KING WAYLAND and his pokemon, nodding to him before she follow after.[break][break]

It had been a while since she had been fully underwater like this. At least, in this moment, it seemed calm enough.

Callie waits. The similarities between herself and the Swampert are noted and ignored. She slides another glance over at KING WAYLAND; she is grateful it is not mentioned.[break][break]

A Pink dratini is released from her own hip, a small collection of Pokeballs there. She motions to the water and it slides inside, following after the much larger pokemon.[break][break]

Callie sighs when King is fully submerged. She waits just a moment before dipping into the water herself. The cold water makes her shiver but for a moment.[break][break]

Much rather unpleasant cold than searing heat.
