Half-Moon saw the beam of light flying towards her, and had just enough time to raise both her arms to Obstruct it, leaving just a slight singe on her fur. She brushed herself down, snarling slightly before she crouched, tracking the legendary bird's flight path with her eyes before she swung her claws forth, delivering another Night Slash flying at an angle that would hopefully hit even if it dodged.

"Heh, I guess that does make her one!" agreed Cardamom. Half-Moon was just annoyed about all the sand, especially as Moltres took to the air again. The flames washed over her, leaving her fur singed but not badly burned. Snorting, she swung her claw upwards for another long-range Night Slash.

"Yeah, Half-Moon was even there for that! Though Bam did most of the fighting against Silvally-she's my Riolu!" Meanwhile, Half-Moon was looking very annoyed. Man, fire she could take, but combining that with sand? It'd take forever to comb out of her fur. Annoyed, she drew back a bit, shaking herself and raising her claw to deliver another Night Slash instead.

"Yeah, though I've seen a Silvally in a previous fight. I think they do count as legendary too, right?" asked Cardamom, even as the sun started shining brighter and brighter. Well, Half-Moon had nothing to counter that, but also nothing that would be particularly affected. So it was just an extra advantage to her opponent. Taking advantage of Moltres having been knocked down, she immediately charged in with a second Headbutt.

Oh good, it was approaching her. As Moltres swooped towards her, Half-Moon was already moving to close the distance as well, lowering her head to charge into the legendary with a stern Headbutt.

Half-Moon's choice was to spin around to try and Obstruct the rolling rock again, but the fact that she had to turn almost 180 degrees to do so meant it still glanced off her, making her wince. Nash was knocked sideways again, turning his head to growl at the Golurk. "No!" called Cardamom. "Keep on that one opponent! They're almost down!" Nodding and tearing his gaze away, Nash charged in with teeth bared, ready to Bite at Copperajah again.

The Obstagoon nodded, shaking her head to get the burning grains of sand out of her fur as thoroughly as possible, before growling and swinging her claw, sending a Night Slash swinging through the air at the Moltres.

Half-Moon winced and raised her claws as the storm of leaves cut into her, whirling around her and lowering her vision. Despite barely being able to see everything, she winced and lashed out with another Night Slash, but with her vision partially obscured it was very likely it'd go wide.[break][break]
Meanwhile, Ping, being the straightforward Pokemon they were, seemed to relax as the opponent bowed. "Wait! Ping, watch ou-" Cardamom called. Unfortunately, the warning didn't come in time, and Ping took the full force of the attack. For a moment they remained hovering, and then they dropped to the ground with a metallic whine. Cardamom winced as she recalled them. Still, with one opponent almost down, maybe Half-Moon could carry them to victory.

Okay, Moltres had definitely not been on the list of "opponents he expected next." But Cardamom just nodded at the question, Half-Moon mimicking the action even as she stared up at the legendary with a frown. "Um...yeah, we are!" he said. Half-Moon slid one leg back to brace herself, preparing herself for whatever attack the legendary was going to open with.

[attr="class","woo3"]Bam let out a similar happy yip as she returned the hug, hopping up and down in place even as she did so. Cardamom also let out an audible "d'awwwww" as the two Riolu embraced. Now this was probably her favorite fight in the tournament. "Yeah, no problem!" she said. "Hey, if you want to meet up again, my family's got a food stall down by the beach. Bliss Family Bakery, can't miss it. And maybe they can play together again!"

[attr="class","woo3"]Without the smoother arena around her, Bam wasn't able to recover as well from the Counter that hit her, not to mention it was much more head-on than the last one. Bam went stumbling backwards, tripping over a rock sticking out of the ground, and went down flat on her back. Slowly, she stood back up, but shakily, then nodded slightly, bowing in defeat to Raki. There was no need for them to fight to unconsciousness now, especially considering he had the advantage. Whateer move she made next, he could counter it and probably knock her out.

[attr="class","woo3"]Oh, now that was a good strategy! Bam's technique relied on having smooth footing, which had been taken away from her. She had to hop and skip over the now-uneven rocks a lot more to get close, but as she did so her fist started glowing in a similar way as she executed her own Copycat technique to deliver yet another Rock Smash. Now neither of them could run!

[attr="class","woo3"]Bam was bumped to one side and stumbled a bit, but turned the stumble into a somersault, landing lightly on her paws. Another clever tactic that she knew quite well! Unfortunately, or perhaps fortunately, she couldn't respond with the same, considering how Counter didn't work against itself. So instead, she used the distance she'd gotten to charge back in for another speedy Quick Attack.
