Cardamom let out a small gasp of delight at the sight of the many Eevee cavorting through the woods. "Oh my gosh!" she exclaimed. "Luke, did you know they'd be here?"[break][break]
"I actually didn't," her brother admitted, rubbing the back of his head. "I just thought it'd be good to get Nash to relax a bit." The aforementioned Absol was prowling along beside them, not looking very relaxed at all. Eevee weren't something that worried him, but their evolutions were. Sylveon, for all their delicate sweetness, were the Eeveelution he would least like to face in an actual battle.[break][break]
Cardamom leaned down to ruffle the Absol's fur. "Don't worry, they're not here to fight," she said, despite his skeptic expression. "I'm sure they'd be friendly if we offered them some treats." He seemed slightly less skeptical about that-the Bliss family always made the best treats, after all.[break][break]

Cardamom's bag of treats hadn't ended up of much use during the flight up the mountain. On the other hand, the bag had been sealed well enough that despite a lot of soot and smoke getting all over the outside, the inside remained just fine. She'd arranged a few of the less-squashed cakes and cookies alongside the ice cream for everyone to enjoy before grabbing some of the very squashed cakes and her own bowl of ice cream. Her Pokemon were also lying around getting to enjoy their own treats. As promised, Banana Bread had been given both a rubdown and the biggest bowl of ice cream she could find for him. Shin was sulking somewhat, the Ursaring grumpy that he hadn't been called upon at all, but he'd been mollified by some ice cream with sprinkles and cookie crumbles on top.[break][break]
After making sure her Pokemon were all situated, Cardamom headed off to find a place to sit. However, she soon noticed Ruby Walker sitting in a corner with two other kids. Remembering the girl from the tournament, she headed in that direction. "Oh, hey Ruby!" she called, waving as she approached. "It's me, Cardamom! From the Hoenn Star Tournament, remember?" She waved at the two boys as well, offering them a greeting as she slid into an empty seat.

Cardamom winced as the wide-ranged attack struck at everyone, making the ground shake beneath her feet. Both Bam and Biff stumbled, even as the blades cracked beneath their attacks. watched as the red orb was blown up and Groudon and the strange draconic legendary were knocked into the volcano. For a moment there, it seemed like everything was perfectly settled...and then the volcano erupted nonetheless. It wasn't as large as it might have been, but it was still dangerous. Already, Banana Bread was swooping back towards them, bellowing in worry.[break][break]
Cardamom quickly recalled both Bam and Biff, before reaching upwards as Banana Bread dived low. Thankfully, this was a maneuver they'd practiced before, and he dipped his neck low enough to scoop her up and start flying down the mountain, going as high as he could to avoid the lava flows below, his Chlorophyll soaking up the sun and increasing his speed. She wrapped her arms around his neck, stroking his side.[break][break]
"Good boy," she murmured. "You're getting so many treats when this is all over, okay?"[break][break]
tl; dr: Cardamom recalls everyone but Banana Bread, who swoops over to grab her and fly down the mountain.

Shin felt his own claws weaken as the Hatterene returned his technique back at him, and before he could do anything else the swing hit him and knocked him flat on his back. The added Psychic-type meant that was pretty much a finishing blow for him. Cardamom let out a gasp, but simply took out a Pokeball to recall the bear.[break][break]

Now, Banana Bread would admit he didn't quite have it in him to physically strike an opponent who'd been downed like that. Stomping her again would just feel mean at this point. So he backed up a bit, summoning up a Leaf Tornado in hopes of finishing this indirectly.
