a gentle woof echoed in the air. Siobhan turns, spotting the Furfrou. ah, one of the ones she had come to collect. but the canine boasted an ebony coat, marking it as a Shiny. it approached her without fear, eyeing the woman up and down.

"hello" Siobhan says to it, refusing to insult the Pokemon by bending down to it's level. gently, she would reach out to attempt a pet. the Furfrou stood still, allowing it. perhaps it was fate; or just dumb luck.

the poodle was not fearful in any way. if it had been feral, Siobhan would have earned a bite. by giving it respect, the Furfrou gave it in return. it dips its head at her, noticing the Safari Balls. "do you want to come along?"

the question lingered a brief moment before the canine walked forward and pressed its head against a spare sphere. engulfed in light, the poodle vanished. but the sphere still shook a bit on her belt - and Siobhan wondered if it would take.

as she worked her way up the tree, climbing slowly so not to startle the Litten, Cheshire was making a friend. he stood rigidly, allowing the other feline to sniff him. the tip of his tail quivered but otherwise he was still.

compared to Siobhan's other Pokemon, who were almost all evolved and much larger than him, a fellow feline was nothing. trying to show he was friendly, he purrs and attempts to bump his head softly against the other cat.

"there was a battle here."

that much, was quite clear. she looks owlish over the area, noting the architecture and the advanced civilization the Draconid People had been hoped to be. the craters were interesting, and they caught her attention more. were some type of residue from the meteorites here? what about the battle with the unknown beast that Rocket had caught up in?

she had told Remiel she wanted to go here once, but it was coming true faster than he promised. "something fierce, dangerous... is it still here?" Siobhan directs this question to Xander Belmont . perhaps they should not have come here with only a trio of people. if Rocket could not handle such a beast, what hope did they have? 

"is it forbidden to enter this village?" was there a guardian that needed to be quelled? 

she waved off his embarrassment. "it happens" especially in the world of Pokémon. cats were tricksters but also hardy. they didn't think about getting into trouble - just getting into trouble. once they were in a predicament, they yowled their heads off in favor of climbing down themselves. "Cheshire" she adds to her own Litten.

the kitten mews softly, warily eyeing the height of the tree. the young man would take position, as if giving her a boost. Siobhan stretched out an arm so Cheshire could climb down it, which he did. he jumps onto the tree, scaling it expertly despite previous unease. once he was on the branch, he mews to the other Litten encouragingly.

"Cheshire will calm him down" Siobhan adds "maybe your Litten will listen" she smirks mischievously, not missing the look it gave her. she approached the man now, propping one leg onto his hands and boosting herself. she grabs one of the low hanging branches with a gentle huff, pulling herself up. Cheshire watches warily.

she just happened to be passing by. that was the story of Siobhan Burke's life by now. first Killian needed help, now... well, a young man by rank of Grunt. she stares at the Litten on the tree, her own wrapped around her neck. the Shiny variation helped distinguish them.

"need some help?" she asked, wondering if she had seen this young man in the submarine lately or not. he looked familiar. perhaps she thumbed through the new recruit folder and saw his name. either way, there was a Litten in a tree.

and it needed to come down.

it was another disappointment. the Shinx this time would snarl at her, but she stood her ground. simply watching as the little feline finished, Siobhan turned an unblinking gaze at the land around them. taking the chance to scoot away, the Shinx vanished and left the Galarian woman alone.

Siobhan Burke was not one to be rattled easily. it took a lot of prodding and pushing to get her to care about idle chat and childish games. this ivory haired girl was a child in the Galarian's eyes. a little girl who had yet to grow up. games were fun and all, but there was a time and a place.

and this? this was important business. "I see" Siobhan's eyes drift back at the winning alarms. her eyes spy the device the girl wields, marking her as a Rocket - or a run-of-the-mill crook "did you get that button from somewhere special?" she would ask in a low voice. her device remained silent for now. it'd be too suspicious to run two at once.
