Anemone snarled as the Moonblast hit, her Flamethrower trying to burn the Sylveon best it could. once she used her attack and hit the fox, she switches with Mori. if the Sylveon was indeed attacked, it would switch to the Milotic, wherein -

Mori would repay the Moonblast damage with another Giga Drain at the fish. it attempted to restore the ghost's health and tackle the Milotic, pulling it out of the equation.

"you are kind to say" Siobhan says back "but I still have much to learn." she was beginning to handle this combat thing the best she could, and it had netted her a few wins. but there was still many more leagues to go.

so did her Pokemon.

"we have much to learn" she adds, inclining her head to the full sphere she had placed away "I shall see you around, and cheer for your success." a thin smile appears as she begins to wander off.

ah, yes. she wondered when the battle would end. "flaaaaa!" came a final cry from the apple dragon, being struck dead-on with the Focus Blast. he flickered to the ground, stars in his eyes.

Siobhan would recall him with a dry smile. perhaps he was worth it to train after all? of course, she did not mention such a thing to Melody. "thank you" she says to the idol, glancing up once the Flapple was inside the sphere.

"despite just being caught, he has potential" she remarks idly, shrugging "it was good experience for him."

Flapple wasn't down for the count just yet. the second the ape's vines loosened, he shot forward and up, avoiding the Hyper Voice. he trills happily, but wearily, zooming toward the other Pokemon with a last ditch effort.

another Wing Attack. Siobhan blinks slowly in surprise, having not had much hope for the Flapple's battle prowess. perhaps he was tougher than she assumed.

yes, Flapple was slowing down. Siobhan could see it clearly from her position. still, it fought with all it's soul and heart. just to please his trainer, or to prove something? she did not know for sure.

"Wing Attack" Siobhan says as the vines come close to the dragon. he beats his wings viciously, cutting a few of the vines as they try to restrain him. despite his weakness as a battler, he tries.

but the vines do encase him. he squawks in surprise and shock, furiously trying to get free.

the final ice attack was enough.

Dybbuk gave a dramatic groan before shuddering, falling over onto his side. whirls of exhaustion shone in his eyes. he was down for the count. "..." Siobhan said nothing at first, content to pull out his Pokeball and recall him.

"thank you for the battle" she adds after a brief moment, inclining her head to boruta maher respectfully. despite losing, she gained valuable experience. she only hoped her Pokemon did as well.

Freeze Dry hit dead on again; the Spiritomb was almost down for the count. he shuddered on the spot, using Shadow Ball on the fossil once again. he would not waste another turn with putting the Pokemon asleep -

not when a win was at stake. he knew Siobhan had been getting a streak. he assumed she wanted to win after Eris defeated her, so he kept going, motivated as he was to help his mistress.

"Drill Peck." Poe was up again, and he shot toward the Glaceon with vigor despite the Blizzard slowing him. his wings had ice on it, but the half steel-type shrugged it off. his beck glistened with power as he aimed an attack at the ice fox.

the others were hit by the Blizzard as well. Anemone is quick to shrug it off as well, her fire type making her toasty and warm. Mori shuddered with the cold air, but remained near full health as well. maybe not as full as the others but whatever.

"thank you" Siobhan says honestly, though quiet "Nevermore still has much to do before she is a veteran battler, though." perhaps it had been unkind to send out a newcomer against a more talented Pokémon.

but the loss was felt, and she would do better next time. she places the sphere back onto her waist. "Siobhan, by the by" she adds to the girl "what do they call you?" because they had never introduced themselves.

Dark Pulse tried to get priority before he was hit by the Freeze Dry. whether it worked or not, the Spiritomb was indeed attacked directly again. Siobhan did not flinch at her Pokemon's eerie wail.

it was clear to her that she may not win this one. the streak had come to an end once she lost to Eris, so it was up to potential in her ghost and her own skills whether she'd get a victory. but, she doubted it.

the Signal Beam was enough.

Nevermore fell from it, curly swirls in her eyes as she fainted. Siobhan was quick to recall the Murkrow to prevent further damage. "I lost." it was not a defeated statement though. her smile was thin but her eyes amused.

there was no hope to continue her win-streak indefinitely. she had to fall sometime; let it be from a child - bright eyed and bushy tailed. "thank you for the match" Siobhan adds to the girl.

Anemone is hit, but does not go down so easily. she hisses at the Milotic but switches out with Mori before she could unleash her fury. the teacup ghost aims for the Milotic's typing.

a Giga Drain is used, hoping to leech some of the energy the fish has away. next was Poe, and he was all ready for what could happen. the most seasoned out of Siobhan's Pokémon.
