He came back to explore the outskirts before long, carrying a SHINY SPEWPA on his shoulder. CIRCE was all too happy to tag along, wanting to see more of the world beside him and prove her worth.

Belial points ahead at the floating target. If his Rampardos couldn't hit an airborne target, then he hadn't earned his place at the proverbial table! Thankfully, Toro takes up the challenge with fervor.

The KOFFING is startled to see the large dinosaur sprinting towards it. It EXPLODES moments after the Rampardos leaps up off the ground. In the aftermath of the explosion, Belial swoops in and casts a ball at its unconscious body.

They said women with Umbreon held dark secrets in their past. Belial didn't know how much confidence he put in that, but he certainly wouldn't mind enjoying this blonde's company further despite it. And, needless to say, it really came as no surprise to him that she was a model.

"That's quite impressive... I know of ." He remarks, stretching an arm outward and (totally not intentionally) flexing his muscles. He had dossiers on all of Hoenn's gym leaders, really. It was part of his job.

Meanwhile, have submerged himself completely, Garand the Oshawott holds onto his scalchop to float and kicks his little feet to pedal forward across the steaming water. He offers the lady a happy cheer when she regards him with dialogue, even though he doesn't quite understand the meaning behind the sounds coming from her mouth.

With his attention fixed on the belle this whole time, instead of his cute Oshawott, Belial smirks and leans back against the edge of the spring when she winks at him. He props a toned arm across the side of it.

"Yeah, absolutely," He responds. "We all need some time to blow off some steam. Be on our 'bad behaviour' for a bit, sort of speak... life's boring otherwise, isn't it?" The man adds, cunning eyes narrowing as they stare at her own. "What's your name, anyway, beautiful?"

Belial pauses in thought; sharp eyes honing in of every minute detail written across Gallagher's expression. When he's mostly satisfied, however, he smiles and nods. Just as their waitress returns with their appetizer: a plate of mini beef tourtieres.[break][break]

The man expresses, though whether he means in regards to Felix's comment or the tasty morsels of food remains ambiguous. Regardless, Belial is quick to thank their server with a wink before indulging in one for himself. "You gotta try these, kid, they're amazing."[break][break]

Popping one into his mouth, he suffers the heat for a moment before chewing past it, blowing steam out of his nostrils. A hum of pleasure rumbles in his throat afterward, and he leans back and closes his eyes to savor it.[break][break]

There was other business to attend to, of course. But, for now, food.[break][break]

The outskirts of SLATEPORT CITY were a desolate urban wasteland of ruined buildings and junk heaps. This served as more of a playground to his RAMPARDOS, TORO, than it did a training ground.

At least until Belial pulled out the tamer's whip and snapped it in the air. The dinosaur turned towards his master with a huff, but the sense of bravado that instinctively bubbled up from within it almost immediately settled. The man had an authoritative air about him...

But, more than anything, this was a test of Bravo's guile and will. So after a heated back and forth, and a HEAD SMASH the little pup took head-on, victory is finally attained through a powerful FORCE PALM to the dinosaur's jaw.

After its body lands with a thunderous thud, Belial produces an empty ball from his pack and casts it.

How fancy, he thinks. She did carry an elegant aura about her, dressed up in sharp green and glistening gold. Though it did little to fool him. He'd seen past the surface of such things plenty of times before: both as a Stone and as a well-traveled mercenary captain. 

"Is that right?" He coos with a toothy smirk, reaching for his own glass of wine as the ticking timer at the center of the table continues to go disregarded. His dark eyes hadn't left her for a single moment since he'd arrived. He was enraptured, sure, but far more intrigued.

"How soon can I make a reservation, then? I'd gladly skip the appetizer for you, Toni." He takes a sip.
