Shots shots shots shots! Or pints, cups, boots, buckets… flagons, even! If it was alcoholic, Cora would drink it from just about anything. Beer wasn’t her usual go-to - that would be cocktails that looked adorable but would have you on the ground in two seconds flat - but beer pong fired up her competitive side, and it gave her a chance to see a friend, which ticked every box.[break][break]

She tried to meet Uri’s RBF with her own, but a frown looked so wrong plastered upon her angelic face that she cracked almost immediately, grinning and leaning in to politely kiss his cheek, leaving behind that bright, bright pink she always wore.[break][break]

Honestly, crime really was fun sometimes. And so easy! It was like all these people wanted to have their money and valuable assets stolen, or something. Or it was something to do with the blackmail, that might also be a prominent part of the whole thing.[break][break]

Cora prowled the upper district like a tiger, knowing by now exactly where was best to be seen by people and where wasn’t - even someone as hustling and bustling as Slateport’s main district had it’s quiet spots where you could come and go like a ghost. She smiled at the people who recognised her, acted self-absorbed (which didn’t take too much work), and generally was her usual self.[break][break]

But she was, very particularly, waiting. Someone from the old man’s estate - what was his name again? She’d forgotten, already - he wasn’t particularly interesting besides his money, after all. Money that Rocket could put to much better use than having it all hidden away and paying for a new golf club or whatever boring things old men liked. Either way, he owed a great deal of that money to her… for silence. Nobody wanted his poor wife to see all those pictures, after all, right?[break][break]

She checked her nails and smiled to herself due to her ever-present genius, then turned down into a darker street - the kind of place where people could exchange a few thousand pokedollars with relative quiet and simplicity.

Whenever the idea or concept of "children" or "babies" wormed it's way into a conversation Cora was part of, it made her literally want to go feral and start biting people. She couldn't ever see herself as a good mother nor the kind of person who would ever want to be a mother. Babies were gross! And she was drastically unequipped to deal with anything other than herself... except her sweet baby Toxtricitys.[break][break]

So imagine her delight, then, when Dolce disappeared for a brief moment into the undergrowth only to come back holding the sweetest, most delightful, most electric and purple little baby that Cora had seen. It reminded her of her own sweet babies before they'd evolved, and she positively melted. There was barely a moment taken to think before throwing the pokeball towards the teeny-weeny cutesy-wutesy Toxel.

ii. she's lived in most big cities, specifically nimbasa, unova; lumiose, kalos and wyndon, galar. nowadays she lives in slateport penthouse. all interviews with her claim she was born and raised in nimbasa, but her accent is decidedly alto marean [break][break]

iii. she's usually found by paparazzi in nightclubs, flirting around and having fun in whatever ways interest her most. she's been caught on camera doing all kinds of things, so she's a fond target by the paps for juicy photos

Ah, the feeling of water! It was soothing, whether it was from a pool or a river or, in this case, the sea. While it was always nice to hit up Slateport beach and bask in the knowledge that you looked better than everyone else in the most expensive bikini there, Cora did have moments where she returned to quieter spots for self-reflection.[break][break]

And also, more importantly, for taking selfies.[break][break]

She must have taken hundreds with just her tripod and the beach behind her, or the trees, or the gently lapping seafoam, or... just about anything else she could pose in front of. And of course, beside her, one of the only things she loved more than herself; one of her two sweet darling babies, the lovely Dolce - while his sister remained resting, quiet as ever, in her pokeball. Could life get better than this, soaking up the last of the October sun before the rainy season swept in?
