Zee chuckles while grinning as she sees how Wilbur acts toward his trainer. Ann chuckles in a similar way to how Zee chuckles, that small detail shows how close she is to Zee. "To be frank" Ann continue swiping while talking, "I am not really the best in pokemon battling. I am prone to panic while battling makes everything blank" Ann tells him honestly. " However, I do want to get better at battling so I can at least protect myself when I sleep in the wilderness." Ann continues as she pushes the leaves that she sweeps to a plastic bag. Ignoring the warning from the older cousin of hers, Ann still wolfs down her food in a hurried manner as if she is afraid that someone would take the food away from her. Honestly, with the way how she lives - The fear is found as she often finds her food got stolen by either wild Pokemon or the other homeless that doesn't have a manner. The pace of her eating often doesn't let her cut the food properly and often makes her swallow a bite that is bigger than she could bite. Suddenly, she stops and starts to cough in pain as if trying to choke something out from her mouth but is unable to do so. Her face starts to show a panic trying to cough harder but still failed. [break][break]

She ate a piece of meat that is too big and hastily swallow it whole which now blocks her throat making her choke.

Her kindness hurts her more than the people who lash out over her disrespect towards them or the people who completely ignore her behavior. Mental war is waging within her heart right now and honestly, the apologetic side of her is winning but her stubbornness act like the last wall to actually apologize for her bad manner. Then, she decides to take a seat on her own bonfire's and for once she let her seat, showing her own remorse. However, there is no way for someone who just meet her would catch that. [break][break]

As she was walking at a quick pace, she saw a will-o-wisp kind silhouette from a distance and she quickly noped out and turn to the other direction of that silhouette. The shadow is still on her tail, never giving up on chasing her despite she has been power walking for quite a time now. She didn't realize that the color of the sky is shifted to something weird and there is whispering laughs around her. She was jumping off through a bush just to collide with a person and make herself fall to the ground real quick. The shadow that has been following her since earlier suddenly stops and disappears. The hit from the beak gave her a hard time. The blunt force that accumulates on her arm starts to bruise her arm and leave her with pain. While she is still gritting her teeth, a tear starts to form yet she still refuses to let go of her bread. Zee despite her best attempt to protect her trainer got rendered useless due to how uncanny the flocks are really fast to go back to air after attacking her. Then a woman come, she can't see her clearly from her current condition. She is an unown to her - 'Don't tell me, that this flock is her and she orders them to attack her.' Ann thinks desperately thinking that she might go unconscious and be dragged to a nearby hospital. Her brain starts to think of the cost and her resolve to survive to gets slightly stronger once again. Zee who notices a new woman that approaching them decides to growl at the lady and barks as if telling her to get off thinking that she might hurt her trainer more.

It was a tranquil walk to the woods with Zee until a sudden voice disturb her. When she turns to see who the person is, Ann just scoffs learning that the one who stops her looks particular like an adult. "Why do you want to know?" Ann lashes out like a defensive cat who is ready to attack her anytime if she gets closer. "The night is pretty - The star is aligned making it more beautiful. I have many reasons to be here but none of them is your business" Ann turns and walks away from the lady, kicking pebbles feeling annoyed. [break][break]

Suddenly, she wasn't looking in front of her resulting in her crashing right through the branch obscuring her sight. Instead of stopping, Ann tries to brave through and not realize that there is a small cliff in front of her. She slips and falls with her butts first.

Ann has been hearing about a particular fruit that is originated from Johto that can be found within the forest near Verdanturf as an old couple from Johto decides to leave outside of the town within the forest and planted Apricorn for their own joy. She heard that apparently that it is a material for Pokeball before the current Pokeball is standardized. If the rumor is true, Ann thought to herself perhaps she can ask the couple for some of the fruits and sell them to the collector. Hence, why she is on the journey to find the old couple within the forest despite the night time is approaching. "Thankfully, the news said that tonight will be a full moon. So, it should be brighter than usual even for night standard" Ann murmur as she journey through the woods.

It was like any other day, where Ann wanders around the park near a forest. The place is rather empty as in rarely anyone passes through it, not because it is haunted or anything - It just a poor location for a park to be made, or at least that is what should be. A flock of wild Unfezant appears from the forest and starts to pester Ann - trying to hunt for their food, who is trying to eat her breakfast/lunch after scavenging for free food all around the town. "Hush! Go away you pesky little bird!" Ann tries to shoo them away but sadly the different size doesn't help at all. An Unfezant takes a peck to her bread before Ann swat it away. Zee tries to slash them but has no luck as they keep flying and Zee is unable to reach high enough to slash them with her claw. She needs help but her pride refuses to ask for help.

"Shut up!" Ann barks in anger at Gwen. However, the anger itself wasn't directed toward Gwen but rather toward herself. "I am not scared and I can take care of myself," Ann says defensively and reduce her panic state to almost nil. It was her bad habit upon getting panic too easily like that but once she calms down - She can assess the situation much clearer. "Don't order me around." Ann declares as she walks away with Zee. [break][break]

A Poochyena starts to advance slowly with a growl, approaching the direction where Ann is standing right now. "Zee, let's do hide and seek... shall we?" Ann murmurs to Zee and she nods. Zee quickly hides behind the tall grass that spans between Ann and the Poochyena. Her small stature makes her able to hide inside the tall grass and launch a surprise attack. The grass sways due to either the wind or the careful movement of Zee. Once she gets close enough, Zee leaps forward and unleashes several fury swipes, and leaves a scratch on the Poochyena body before going back to hiding once again. [break][break]

"Yeah!" Ann cheers excitedly, swinging her arm to the sky. "Keep doing that until he faints!"

Ann let out a soft chuckle when she listened to how Aeden tries to pronounce Zorua. That made her feel a bit nostalgic as she is also like that when she got her hence why she decides to call her Zorua with Zee instead of her species. "Wilbur, huh... He is a... I swear I know what Pokemon he is but it escapes my mind right now" Ann is snapping her finger trying to recall back the Pokemon Encyclopedia that she once read in the past. It felt like it is on the tip of her tongue but she can't say it. "I think, it has swine on it? I feel like I vaguely remember that part" Sadly, her attempt to remember it become a tragic attempt. Ann slowly sweeps the area as she is in the middle of clearing out the fallen leaves after all, but her attention still remains on the man. "Oh yeah, you any good in pokemon battle?" Ann suddenly asks a question. Hoping that he is quite knowledgeable in that kind of stuff.

A chilled bottle of water is being tossed toward Ann followed by an ominous howling from afar. Zee, who was playing around earlier, starts to stand up making a stand hissing in the direction of the howling. From behind the wall of forest that is not far from them, two shadows come out revealing their nasty fangs. A small group of Poochyena appears with a stare of hunger - stares that Ann knows well as she often shares similar gaze in the past. As if it wasn't enough, one bigger shadow appears from their behind and it was a Mightyena. [break][break]

"Curses, there is more than I imagined. What should we do? What should we do?" Ann rush back and forth panicking while Zee is just standing there and trying her best to intimidate her foes. Ann's biggest weakness is how easily she is panicking about the situation that she doesn't expect and she often expect the unexpected due to her lifestyle living on the side of the road but this is beyond her expectations.

The rustling sounds of leaves, dense leaves create a natural rooftop that doesn't let a lot of light pass through. The dim light that covers the surrounding makes the forest stays in a forever twilight zone unable to tell the right time. With that said, Ann still wondering why she is here. Did she fall into a multiverse? The last time she remembers that she was sleeping in her makeshift camp and when she woke up, she finds herself in the middle of the forest. Ann quickly pats all of her body trying to look for her belongings and all she gets is her Pokeballs where Zee is resting. "Ugh... I hope no one takes my blanket." Ann let out a sigh and looks around trying to find an exit from this forest. [break][break]

While she was looking around and walking aimlessly, she suddenly saw a huge shadow between the trees. Ann starts to let out a cold sweat and increases her pace to the direction opposite from where that shadow is. "please go away, please go away..." Ann silently pray as she quickened her pace but she feels that the shadow is following her.

Ann Nickolette & Josh Dragomir [break][break]

Ann is a homeless girl that roams around Verdanturf city. Technically, she has a house to stay in with Laurence Anderson but she can't put any trust in him making her decide to not stay at that house longer than it needs. Ann has a distrust toward adults making her behavior prickly towards them and often lashing out a sharp comment to them. However, passing that barricade she is actually a sweet girl and caring. Knowing that Josh is an upbeat and warm individual I could see he would gradually cross that wall and make Ann warm up to him. [break][break]

She also needs some training on being a pokemon trainer as a wild pokemon will often attack her and her pokemon while camping out. So, she needs some training in pokemon battle as it is the matter of life and death. I was thinking, perhaps Josh can teach Ann doing a pokemon battle when he notices a young girl trying to run away (but failed) from a wild pokemon.

Ann now standing there awkwardly not entirely knowing what to do, she is not stellar at socializing especially with someone who is around her age. She is usually surrounded by adults yet she can't put any trust in them. It has been a good while since she interacts with someone around her age. "Ah," She exclaims after noticing that he is introducing himself. She takes off her earphone and shoves them into her pocket before accepting the hand for a handshake. "Ann, my name is Ann. Yeah, I kind of in the need the money that has been offered by the local governor for this activity" Ann introduces herself. [break][break]

Suddenly, the pile of leaves that she has been making since earlier burst into shambles as Zee is passing through and barks playfully at her without feeling any remorse. Ann just let out a long sigh, "Zee... You just erased my work for this past hour. What should I do with you, huh?" Ann crouches and stretches Zee's cheek. "Oh this is my trusted partner, her name is Zee. She is a Zorua and quite a rare one, at least that is what they told me" Ann introduces Zee to Aedan Quigley. She picked her up and let her rest on her embrace.
