The smoke getting denser and denser yet Ann has no way to know what she should do. Zee tries to scratch her way through the metal door but there are barely any scratches. Ann right now already assumes a crawling position where the smoke hasn't reached yet. She wants to walk downstairs but there is a flame blocking its way and if she tries to jump from the gap... Well, she would get hurt and that is bad. [break][break]

Suddenly, her ears perk up when she heard a faint noise from downstairs. She is not sure exactly if it was a hallucination or not but a glimmer of hope rose within her heart as well as an idea pops into her head. "Zee, Dee... I need your help! Bring whoever downstairs to here to save me!" Ann plead and both of her pokemon nodded energetically. Ann picks the Dewpider and Hisuian Zorua on her hand and quickly yeet them away passing the flame. Dee swings using her string while grabbing Zee with her legs and manages to land safely. Both of them quickly rush to the source of the voice and find @malik downstairs busy saving people. Zee jumps and headbutts Malik trying to pull his attention to her. Dee tries to point to the rooftop with her leg. [break][break]

Meanwhile, on the top where Ann was, she is hugging a bag where she put her vigilante outfit with her. Then suddenly she remembered something - "CRAP! I COULD HAVE USED DEE'S BUBBLE BEAM!" Ann shouts feeling dumb because of the panic. Either way, she is right now trying to wear her vigilante outfit but with how she is constantly coughing, it is proven to be tricky

Great... When she thought she found a great place to stay for the day after she is barely able to get to sleep last night due to searching for this place. In the small area on the top of the building where there is only a locked door to the rooftop and no one ever come to that place - that kind of place is a heaven for her to be formed as her small base to rest. Yet, as if fate is trying to spit on her and kicks her while laughing, the place is roaring into flame and it quickly surrounds the place. "You must be kidding me!" Ann shouts in annoyance followed up with coughs as the smoke starts to creep upward. 'Shit, what to do.... what to do...?' Ann pace backward and forward not knowing what to do, the only stairs to go downstairs are blocked by a flame. Her Hisuian Zorua cries worriedly and Ann picks her up and snuggles her - "We will be safe buddy, we will be safe" She tries to sound convincing not just to soothe Zee but also herself. She tried to open the door to the rooftop and still find that it locks since it is a metal door - It would be hard for someone with her stature to break the door even if she puts all of her weight on it. Ann crouches trying to think... But she needs to think fast, her place has no ventilation making all of the smoke that rise upward is collected at that place.

As she was following the Riolu, turns out that the Riolu was not the Riolu that she knows of however she doesn't mind saving a random Pokemon like this once in a while as she sees how happy Riolu reunite with its trainer. However, the heartwarming sight stops there and leaves Ann with a contempt look from the wary civilian and starts to make accusations toward her - they even pull a random weird masked man to protect them. "What a hypocrite and liar. Scared of me due to my dubious look is one thing but putting all blame on someone innocent? What a farce" Ann chides toward Pokkenger who looks more than ready to blast her away with the help of Blastoise. [break][break]

"I have nothing say to you nor have any intention to bring you any trouble. I am here just for my people" Ann tries to explain until her eyes suddenly widened when she looks at falling debris right behind the Blastoise and is ready to turn a civilian underneath it into a pancake. Without any warning, she quickly raises her hand and signals the Dewspider that latched to her hand to release a Sticky Web, passing the Blastoise, and making the debris stuck to the nearest wall. The heat from the flame weakened the web gradually so it won't stick for too long. "I would move from that spot if I were you," Ann warns before turning her back and running, leaving Pokkenger and the other people. Still looking for a person that she knows.

Ann goes silent and stares at Lars as if she was staring at a bug. The tiniest bit of positive impression toward the guy from the past goes completely vanish. "You-" Ann trails off for a moment but changes her mind. "... Never mind, forget all of it" Ann calls Zee back to the Pokeball and walks to supposedly her room that she never use, she wants time alone for herself with privacy. "I am disappointed," Ann said before opening her door and slamming it close. Once she is in the room, she quickly falls to the ground and hugs her knee with her back facing the door. A sniffling voice can be heard to the outside but she doesn't care. She wants her Zee back, she wants to know what happened to Zee.

Ann has been living as a homeless for a while now despite having her own room back at Lars' abode. Her interaction with various homeless across the town and the neighborhood town has granted her place within the homeless network where she often learns about the place that is kind toward the homeless or an ideal sleeping place for people like them and many more. Her first year as a homeless was harsh, to the point of almost dying on the ditch due to hunger if it wasn't for a fellow homeless that takes her under his wing and teaches her some ropes to live as a homeless person. Ann is heavily indebted towards him and wants to repay a favor until she hears about the supposedly new place where he is residing - Littleroot Town - has been set ablaze. [break][break]

Ann rushes to the town as fast as she could, it was lucky that she was roaming not too far from that town when she got the news as she was running an errand for free food. Ann has worn her newly created suit to hide her identity as she doesn't want to let others hinder her action due to fake pity since she is still a child. She wore a secret heel under her boots to make her taller and a breast pad to make a new silhouette to her bodyline. A Dewpider clings on her hand as it shots sticky web to the nearest well while she descends down from the rooftop and land on the ground. [break][break]

The fire is raging everywhere and a lot of folks rush around either running away or trying to help. Ann decides to stay low profile as much as possible and sneak through a less populated area, "Hey, old man! Can you hear me?" Ann shouts calling for the person that has been helping her since she start living on the street, a nickname that she gave to him despite him being still around his early 20s. Suddenly, a familiar voice can be heard from not too far and she found that old man's Riolu's leg got trapped under the fallen heavy pipe. "Stay put" Ann's Dewpider shot a sticky web to the sky and as it reaches the maximum height it falls and goes through a pipe above and sticks to the pipe that is crushing the Riolu's leg - Creating a lever. By using her whole weight, she is barely lifting the pipe but it is enough for Zee to pull the Riolu out from there. [break][break]

"Where is your trainer?" Ann asks then the Riolu whimper pointing her finger in a direction. Ann picks her up to her back and goes in that direction.

Ann is completely aware of how he is on the verge of using his avatar abilities but she won't step back. If he does dare use it, that would only prove that adults prefer to force people who are younger than them with force. Ann holds herself back from smiling after she notices how he withdraw the ability, thinking that she won. "Of course, duh! Where else can I find this kind of thing, five-star hotel?" Ann completely ignores the Decidueye that he takes out. "What I want to know is what the f**k is that portal or whatever and why those portals rob me off from my only friend!?" Ann held back from straight shouting but anyone who hears her could definitely hear the desperation. Zee for her is not just any pokemon, she is her only friend that has been with her from the thick and thin - But now, she doesn't know if this is still the same as Zee as she knows or not. "You are the head ranger, are you not!? Scooby doo this shit" Ann's tighten her fist so hard to the point that her nail starts to dig to her palm and make it bleed. She wants to know if there is a way to bring Zee back.

"That ain't important!" Ann snaps back, dismissing the threat that is thrown by Lars at her. Her glare bores right to the man's eye without any sign of faltering as her hand takes out her Pokeball - Something that she rarely uses but this time, she needs it because she doesn't know any better. From the Pokeball, a new variant of Zorua appears right between them - the behavior still resembles Zee but the vibe and looks of it are completely different. "You are big man, Mr.know-it-all, tell me what the hell happened to my friend?!" The nickname that she spat at him has a hint of sarcasm to it but it doesn't decrease the demanding tone she has on wanting to know what is happening.

She doesn't want to be here, why would she? Only dumb people recklessly approach an enigma place such as that whatchamacallit entry-like place where mysterious and unknown pokemon roam around. 'Great, it is not like I have memorized all of Pokemon that exists currently and now the world wants me to remember more' Ann groans after witnessing the scenery. If it wasn't for the sake of chasing Zee that got chased by a wild pokemon which leads her to Petalburg Wood from Mauville city - Yeah, it was a long chase - and carelessly jumps to the realm. "If I have spare money, I would bet on how fast those filthy adults exploit this new realm" Ann murmurs looking for Zee then her eyes widened when she saw the transformation that is happening to her Zorua. At first, she thought Zee is going to evolve to Zoroark but the body changes into something slightly different yet still similar to how a Zorua would look like. What was once a black and red color for his fur, now it has turned into white and red. Something about it feels creepy. "Zee...?" Ann carefully calls out to him. She feels tearing up as she has grown up with Zee when she was still a child, playing together and frolicking around while also sharing their difficulties together. But, now Zee completely changes into something that she doesn't know. Does this change only affect his look or it actually effect what is inside. That thought made her anxious. [break][break]

Ann slowly and carefully reach her arm to Zee's head and slowly patted it and she let out a sigh of relief when she notice the usual dorky smile and purr from Zee whenever she got patted by Ann. "Please don't change" [break][break]

Everything happens due to the happenstance where Zee runs a certain building and when she tries to grab her, she is suddenly surrounded by adults who talk different things at a fast pace which makes Ann confused and ultimately got dragged into a room and got shoved there after she nods out of confusion when got asked earlier. "What the hell just happened??" Ann grumbles looking around and getting briefed by the people there about what she should do and honestly all she thought is that everything is bullshit. However, she is too late to take everything back and ditch everything - She is trapped. A pale man who is going to be her partner on making the coordination for the coordinator asks her. [break][break]

"How would I know?? Everything about this reeks of patheticness. If they can't do their own coordination then why the hell does they become a coordinator???" Ann lashed out with irritation while Zee in front of her just play with different obstacles and props that can be part of the routine.
