eriously, this request again? "fine." phone out, she'd hand it to a nearby waitress. "let's just get this over with and order something already," evelyn groaned. handing the device to the waitress, she'd place her arm around kyle's own. "say cheese, chu~❤" with one arm around kyle's, his bicep in between her bosoms. evelyn moved her other hand to gently hold his chin place where, leaving a mark right after, a kiss was planted.

handing back her phone. evelyn would show kyle the picture, "how about this, once i take down rocket. i'll send you this, wouldn't want the league to see you in a picture with an enemy after all." now it was lunchtime. returning to her seat, she'd leave the male to his own device. "i'm ready to order!"

nd there it was! his pessimism taking over. as he spoke, she boiled. the anger she felt had been filling within her like a cup of water nearing the ring above. standing, she'd slam the palm of her hands down upon the table. "and there it is! that's the issue!" a finger neared the center tip of his nose as she pointed from afar.

"you lack motivation, belief, and purpose! you have a special skill that no one else does!" he tamed dark-types--powerful ones at that! kyle had the ability to probably be the best if he'd just applied himself. "since you won't get fired up, i will for you! your pokemon are weak if you don't believe in their ability." removing herself from her seat, she'd begin to pace back and forth, "just because your mightyena's aren't some big, large dragon, a hunk metal that can levitate in the air, or a powerful psychic pokemon, that doesn't mean they're useless; plus, it's the fact that they're mightyena's people will underestimate their capability." if she knew anything about dark-types, it's that they were ferocious and mighter than any luxray.

"solo they may not be strong, but together? they're a force to be reckon with in battle!" she was fired up. she didn't want kyle to do this for her sake, but his. "you may be lazy, stubborn, a bit moody, and maybe mr. gloom and doom at times with, very, odd odor--to which i can never tell if you smell good or l--that's not what matters!" ruffling her hair, she'd turn to face kyle while ceasing her pacing. the bridge of her nose became pink as the nail polish on her nails.

"what i'm trying to say is..." crossing her arms and turning her gaze elsewhere, evelyn would finally spit it out. "i just wanna use you for elite four perks!" even though she had no idea what they were. she just didn't want to continue on with her dribbling.

hat an unsurprising response. if he'd given her anything else she wouldn't believe it to be kyle. "the ones at the top?" she repeated. placing her hand underneath the wave of her hair, she'd toss it and proceeded to fold her arms after. "like my brother..." fernando. anytime she spoke with a member of the league it somehow always came back to him.

"anyway," she preferred to ignore any discussion associating with him, she continued, "to say you don't need a girlfriend is like saying a pokemon doesn't need a pokeball." in order to form a contract with the creature you had to catch it, "then again, someone with the same thoughts and personality as you would prefer a dog over a human." which was weird, but also sweet...in his...own strange way? "which brings me to my next question: why not challenge the gyms and earn your way to elite status?"

songbird leaned in, a smug grin worn. "or, better yet, why not just go take the test to prove your worth instead?" she had no clue as to how tests for elite trainers were conducted nor how they chose who earned the right to serve as members of the elite four. but, nonetheless, she was fascinated by the thought of kyle becoming an elite. "you'd fit right in."

urning her sights upon noir. the male suggested that they check below. "below..." jaded eyes fixed onto the ground. "alright then, we'll head through there." there was a door upon the side which led to the basement. the door was locked by chains, "mismagius, burn the chains with mystical fire." and with a lit flame, the chains were melted by mystical fire. "let's head inside." kicking the door open, they'd begin to make their way downstairs.

atching. it was with the click of a button that the sound of a ball had been enlarged. "call, mismagius." her pokemon emerged from the capsule. ready to do evelyn's bidding.

"perish song." covering her ears. mismagius began to perform a spell, "it's best you follow." without eyeing the male. she'd continue to look forward. musical notes emerged around the male's crown, circulating him. before he could react the man, then, fell unconscious. standing from the bush, songbird would step out. "grab his keycard," she ordered. "phase, open a door once through."

mismagius nodded. due to possessing the body of a ghost-type, she'd simply phase through the iron door. a black hole would manifest from the other side. "follow." and without a moment to waste, she went in.

once inside the duo would come to notice a dimly lit hall. walking, they'd come to enter the museum's first-level. they were within an open space. surrounding them were great works of history, paintings, artifacts and all. standing in the center of the museum, one could see above that there were many floors to go through. a tall, grand building. one wondered as to where exactly they should start.

ypical. it was just like the man of team rocket to stand a woman up. he was truly a villain in every aspect. the dutiful girl was given a fruitless boy. her mind already believing him to be nothing but a trivial tool. with the bag meant for SILAS BLACKWELL, she'd instead give it to the boy. slamming the bag of goodies into his stomach. "don't slow me down. suit up." she coldly spoke to the male. she cared not to learn his name. he was of no importance. he held no status. a simple grunt and nothing else.

men were all the same to her. trivial, nothing more and nothing less. it was truly disheartening to be paired with a man, one of grunt and rocket nature at that. once the male was set, it was time to move out. "we'll be heading through the backdoor." and so she moved. making sure to stay hidden in the shadows and bypass the guards in front. they would make their way to the back. [break][break]

hiding behind a bush once again. there was guard stationed behind a door that was tightly locked. above the handle one could see a keypad. but to get to it they would need to take out the guard.

or a mere moment she saw a sudden shift in expression. she was a bit surprised and wondered if it had just been her imagination. whether it was or wasn't, she did not wish to take the chance in offending him. thus, while waiting for the cake, she'd agree with him on getting a head start with cleaning. "i'd love that, mister maeda!" she chimed. it was nice to know that there were some rocket members who weren't all bad.

"dishonesty is an unattractive triat in a man; you'll never find a girl that way, kyle." she poked. her head darting to the side as she awaited for the waitress. she hadn't noticed how bashful he became, just looking at him made her stomach rummage with a queasy feeling. she wasn't able to decipher as to what that queasy feeling. being surrounded by these couples was just very overwhelming in all honesty; would she admit that? of course not! only a fool would do such a thing. "i hate you." she randomly stated.

"listen here, the only reason i'm even treating you is because this is a thank you; also, because i doubt a cadet like yourself can even afford such a luxury place with the salary they pay you!" rent-a-cop, how dare he! "and aren't you an officer of the law?! dishonesty, of all things kyle!" she softly exclaimed. her face turning red as she was bashful about being considered a "couple" what was he thinking?! the nerve of him, as if she'd ever play pretend with this fool.

o extreme force, got it. as they shuffled their way to the top, unbeknownst as to what awaited them, they were greeted by what seemed to be the guardians of this mountain: haunter, and not just one but two! "wait," calling upon her pokemon mismagius with the flick of a ball. she'd summon forth the mistress of witchcraft. "it seems our path has been blocked by guardian spirits." whatever laid ahead, they weren't allowed to proceed any further as the duo ghost-types made them wait. [break][break]

"shall we exorcise them, miss wolfe?" she'd ask her fellow partner. ready for combat, mismagius began to lowly chant a spell. delaying their time was annoying, so she wished to take care of the haunter's as quick and swiftly as possible.

mazing! he was such a pro at the job. she was quite astonished by his speedy movement. is this how useful men are during marriage? how simple. easy. it made her blush at the thought of marriage, quickly turning around to cower in fear. "how embarrassing!" she said to herself.

turning around, she'd quickly go to open the oven for him. "o-of course, here you go!" once that was done, she'd turn directly toward the male, wiping a bit of dreariness from her forehead. "phew, baking isn't for me that's for sure." a girl like herself was raised for those to do things for her, so cooking wasn't really second nature to her. "i didn't have much of a mother growing up, so there wasn't anyone to really teach me how to cook in all honesty; just how to get the help to do it." songbird chuckled, making idle conversation.

"i suppose we should get to cleaning, yes?" she asked. "also," before she went to gather the dish rags, she'd say, "i'd love to try that dessert sometime if it's not too much, mister maeda." she offered a smile to her partner, "and i love to meet your wife as well; she sounds like a lovely woman." how did she know he was married when he never spoke of his wife? observation. there's no way a man of his appearance could cook that well without some help after all.
