Amd there he goes, with the spatial awareness of a Psyduck and the common sense to match, he blurts out his inner thoughts without a filter to be seen. Instinctively, Mayday attempts to silence the man behind her by thrusting her elbow back and hopefully into his gut. "Pardon him," she starts, "he's an idiot." Gardevoir even gives the blue-haired man a hooded stare. "Anyway, I'm also heading to grab something to eat myself. We can go together." Finally she helps the trio up and motions for them to follow. "You," she looks to her partner, "stay here with Gardevoir." Ingrate.

Mayday leads the trio away from the point of interest, her digits tumbling about a mechanism in her pocket before bringing a metal mask to her face and fastening it there. They round a corner, and she drops an ornate egg onto the ground, instantly releasing a plume of purple smog into the air. "Wh-what the hell—" soon, a cacophony of coughs and hacks ensue from the trio before they fall onto their knees. Each one gripping at their throats before their foreheads finds themselves colliding with frosted cobblestone. Lifeless, their bodies.

With a huff, Mayday returns from the corner after retrieving the device and playing it back in her pocket. "You moron," she's already berating the other upon her return, "suppose they heard you? What were you going to d—" she stops herself, another sigh leaving her lips. "Never mind. You can handle the clean-up." With her palms in her pockets she brushes a shoulder against the blue-haired menace and makes her way back to the small shanty. Gardevoir, returning to her Pokeball.

As much as she wished for him to have been far off the mark, he was close enough. Shame. Her attention returns to the trio and an ear to the radio. "It's something salty." From her pokeball, Gardevoir appears in a flash of light. "We're heading out," she speaks towards the man on the floor, wasting no time in waiting for him before leaving the shanty with Gardevoir following close behind her.

With each click of her bots against the slick concrete, Mayday examines the scene for any signs of potential ambush. Nothing of interest is to note, so it's truly just the trio. "Hi there~" she greets the guard and three men with an energetic wave, "Sorry to interrupt, but I was just wondering if any of you knew where I could find something sweet to munch on?" The guard at the door looks to the pinkette with recognition and sports a sinister grin.

"I'm in a bit of a rush," two of her fingers tap against the side of her head. Gardevoir catches the signal and its eyes light up a bright blue, encapsulating the trio in an aura of matching hue. In a matter of seconds, the undercover league member's eyes would match the color of the aura and they would fall to the ground with small groans and the rubbing of their heads. "Ugh... wh-what happened? What were we doing here?"

Mayday extends an arm outward to the leader of them. "Slick streets, you stumbled into your friends and you all took quite the tumble. I think I heard you say something about finding food?"

Jewel-colored hues lit up and widened at the array of food that was brought and displayed against the bench. "Oh wow, I don't know if I'll be able to eat all of this." Mayday notes with a chuckle, sliding the blue mug over to Uriah shortly after. "I know I said we should share a mug, but they were having a deal. And look, we even get to keep the cute mugs." Manicured nails tap against the ceramic, "and," her eyes dart away for a moment, feigning bashfulness, "I thought maybe we could share one later..."

Her attention quickly returns to Uriah, meeting his eyes. "I'm having a great time. I'm already dreading it ending. So, if you're available, perhaps you can spend a little more time with me after all this?" Her suggestion tossed out in the air, all she could do now was wait to see if he took the bait. The web had been spun, and in truth, there was a reward if he dared to find himself ensnared. But of course, the ball was in his court in that regard. "Oh, but don't worry too much about that now," her palms rise, waving away the thought. "Let's enjoy the time we have together still~ thank you for all the food. I'm sure I'll enjoy it ♥" For one, it was free. Two, it smelled divine.

With the grabbing of a fork, Mayday stabs at the roast beef and begins to bring it to her lips. But instead of chomping down, she pauses and extends the fork outward to Uriah. "Aah~?" With a giggle, she continues. "So, I'd love to know more about you, Uri. What do you do for a living here? Actually, strike that, what do you like to do for fun? Do you have any hobbies?" The fork is sat down after she gets a forkful of roasted potatoes and the pink mug is grabbed, a gracious sip of hot cocoa swallowed.

Ready to write the man off as just another shy Hoenn native who could be a body to occupy her sheets later, Mayday readies herself to respond to Derek's first inquiry. Her lips part, but silence befalls her as the distance between them is closed. She feels his palm against her back, their digits laced, intertwined. It prompts her to look him back in the eyes, a sudden shift in demeanor? What an interesting change in development this was.

"Fufu~" an amused giggle, "a researcher, for starters." As their skates come to a halt, Mayday slowly raises a hand, tracing the pad of her finger against Derek's lips. Her eyes stared into his own before slowly lowering downward. She held his lips in her sights as her finger slips away. "I think cute is a good start, you're on the right track." She presses the advantage, pushing her body closer to his, glosses lips curling into a devilish smirk. "Let's say I want to bring you home with me," she starts her hypothetical with the added touch of a caress to Derek's chest. "We won't just be sharing hot cocoa, will we?"

There were one too many words that floated about Mayday's mental space that she could use to describe this... man. It was unfortunate that each instance she wished to pull and verbalize one, three of them jumbled about and left her speechless. Though, if there was one thing she knew about men like this, is that they were at least good in the sack. She surmised it had something to do with being useless elsewhere and having to have at least one talent. That, or they were eager to prove themselves worth something more than a passing glance.

"The floor," her index finger points to the dust-riddled flooring as her attention remains out the window. "There's a rug you can cuddle up with. Go nuts." Hm, nothing as of yet. However, there seemed to be three individuals loitering the entrance. Leaving the window, Mayday saunters over to the radio and twists a knob, prompting the bug she placed to pick up on the voices of the trio. "Yes, we're here to assist in the transporting... passcode? Of course, we know it." Mayday's hues squint, making her way back to the window, a maximized Pokeball now in tow.

Perhaps she would get some action tonight after all? "Do you recall the passcode they gave you?" Maybe this guy was with the league, too? Could she make swift work of all four of them?

"Deal." Chipper in her response, Mayday unlocks her arm from Uriah's and takes to her leave, heading towards the stand that sells the hot cocoa. Noticing the small line of patrons in front of her gives her a moment to speak with her inner thoughts as she stands in waiting. The war that waged in her mindset was a great one. On one hand, she hadn't been on a date like this in quite some time. Something with a semblance of normalcy. Things were going well if she said so herself, and in truth, he was her type. But on the other hand, she can't shake the diabolical thoughts that bubble and brew. Tainting the otherwise sudden meet-cute.

Perhaps she can find a happy medium? Ah, wait, maybe that's it? With a wicked grin, the woman makes her way to the front and notices the two for one sale on cocoa. Propelling her plan even further into fruition, she's no fool and wouldn't deny a sale of this caliber. Especially when the mugs come in cute winter-themed his and her mugs. "I'll take two please," money is exchanged and the mugs of hot cocoa are taken. One pink, one blue. However, before she makes her way to the rendezvous point, the pinkette places the mugs down and slips from her pocket a small vial of pink liquid.

"Mm, yes, this should be the one." A poison she concocted that was far from lethal but was just as sinister and volatile. A slow-working toxin that once ingested, would inevitably cause its victim to blackout. Or well, should, cause such. She hadn't tested it out in full... yet. But what better time than the present? Her plan had been set in motion. After pouring the full contents of the vial into the blue mug and stirring it about, Mayday giddily grabs the mugs and makes her way to their designated table. Setting them down and taking a seat herself.

She could have her cake, and eat it too. "So, what's on the menu?" She inquires with the slight tilt of her head and grin.

"I agree," she begins, "so perhaps you would be so kind as to support the material gather—" her train of thought is effectively derailed as Martin pulls from his coat a Stantlet headband and places it atop her head. Silently, she reaches up and feels the antlers before chuckling. 'Tis the season, after all. And, it was quite the cute accessory, matching his Santa hat quite nicely. She would happily accept.

Not to mention his follow-up was even more wonderful to hear. He complimented her talent, and even agreed to place faith in her and her world. So long as he could have a hand in the product. A fair trade. "The terms are fair to me, I accept~" Reaching out, she wraps her arms about his body and gives Martin a quick, warm embrace. "This is perfect~" she takes a step back, clapping her hands together. "I'll have to get to work on a special strand for you. Something that matches your demeanor..." her back turns and she begins wandering off towards their next target. Humming in thought all the while.

"The aroma should have sensual notes. Earthy. With a hint of benzoin. That may be a bit troublesome to craft... hee hee, but it'll be fun to work on~" again, she gives a giddy clap at the prospect of embarking on a new creation. "I'll have to make a special atomizer for you. Something you can conceal in a suit coat. Ah, this will be my greatest creation yet~" Twirling on her heels, she stops in her tracks to face MArtin, beaming brightly.

Oh, she had let her excitement get the best of her, hadn't she? "Ah, that's true," Mayday giggles, "I got a little ahead of myself there. Too excited to see our hard work in action." She gave Evelyn a nod before grabbing hold of a minimized Pokeball that had been kept in her pocket. "Just Maganium today. I figured her sweet scent could lure out our targets before we ensnare them." A pretty simple plan, in truth. "She's also my right-hand lady in my poison-making right now, so it was only fair she tags along."

With a nod once more, Mayday tucks the Pokeball away. Turning her head to peer outward at the city. "I wonder how many of them we'll find today? From what I gathered, there are a number of them here." Her index finger taps against her cheek while she hums in thought. "The more the merrier, though. Oh, I know," Her attention returns to Evelyn now, an even giddier grin plastered on her face. "What say we take turns? Poison for poison?"

"Unconscious," the mask is removed from her face and tucked away for safety once more. "He'll be able to move again in five minutes," she saunters over to his downed body, slipping a small pill next to his lips. "He can take that to detox himself of the remainder." In truth, she could've gone with just offing him then and there. But alas, he was a steady supply of funds for the organization. So he was safe... this time.

With a hum, Mayday makes her way over to Martin and watches as he opens the safe, exposing the hidden funds within, just as the merchant had claimed. "A job well done, I'd say." There's pride in her tone, amusement and giddiness too. "Shall we head out? There's another on our list to visit, no?" She turns her back to head back towards the stairwell. "We should probably make ourselves scarce before he wakes back up." Her manicured nails tap against the stone wall before she ascends the staircase, returning to the shanty's base room and soon out of the building entirely. Back into the frigid air.

"So then," before she can move forward, "your thoughts?" Mayday turns to face Martin with her palms tucked into the warmth of her coat pockets. "That is a prototype of my intended poison. The effects are nowhere near as severe as I would like them to be," she shrugs, "but it gets the job done." Finishing her spiel, she gives a nod and giggles some. "Imagine what I could craft if I had the backing of a lucrative CEO~."

Hues of jade lower with intrigue as her lips curl into a grin against the rim of the glass she holds. Watching as Beckett's visage shifts to a softer variant after she speaks. Perhaps it's a fluke, or maybe he's sincerely intrigued by her. Whichever the truth of the matter may have been, Mayday decides to accept it as a good sign. She hadn't had to embellish since their conversation began, so he was receiving information from her most authentic self. The best way to be in an interview if you were suited for the position.

Had she killed? She would have been a fool to not see that coming. To think she wouldn't get her hands dirty in Rocket's line of work was absurd. Things were going swimmingly, all things considered. Maybe a little too well, now that she thought about it. But far be it for her to place bad juju on their mission. The easier they got in, the easier they got out. Having to only deal with a handful of obstructions was a pleasure. Though, if she were to be completely honest, Mayday had a desire to cause a little more mischief before the final act of the show. The grand finale would be one for the books no doubt, but that didn't mean that the rest of the show should be any less than stellar, right?

And just like that, it was as if her prayers were answered. In front of her and bloodlily, stands the presumed captain of the vessel they boarded. Back-to-bak, the rocket duo stands and listens to the self-righteous dribble of scum and purging it of the world. Defacing the name of Rocket as well as the declaration of apprehension if they didn't concede. Things were certainly heating up, excitement bubbled within the belly of the beast as her palm slipped into her pocket, maximizing a docked Pokeball. Aiming at the captain, if the pokemon was successful, Gardevoir would send the hulking 'hero' flying towards the nearest wall of the ship. Mayday quick to follow the momentum plucks free her pocket one of her ornate golden egg-shaped devices. Tossing it forward in tandem with the placing of a metal mask covering her mouth and nose. Capitalizing on the chaos, the egg hits the floor and with a click, it opens and fills the room with a flume of purple smog. Her special blend of poison. "Teleport!" Gardevoir reaches out and touches Mayday before the two zip away. Only a few inches away from her precious space, Mayday reappears on the other side of the door. Closing it and barricading it with a stray desk in the corridor, in hopes of trapping the captain within the room with her poison.

Her explanation given, Mayday turns her head slightly, just to expose a toothy grin and low-lidded gaze before facing forward once more. Her arms folding across her chest once more as the heels of her boots clicked against the concrete. "I would never harm an innocent pokemon." Embellishing, once again. An innocent pokemon that didn't stand in her way, is much more accurate a confession.

Unless of course, it swayed things to her advantage. "Up here," their makeshift hideout is an understated shack of sorts. An old merchant's building where he sold his wares until the tides of change caused him to relocate. "It's directly across from the point of interest. Four windows, we should be able to survey the area well." Augh, that means she would be stuck inside with him and the Swampert for quite some time. Oh, joy.

Walking up to the front door, a key is inserted, twisted, and the door pushes open. "Have a look around," she prompts for the mangled visage to enter, "I'm sure it's reminiscent to the holes you've crawled out of in the past? You should feel right at home." Then she turns to the Swampert, "I apologize if it's not up to your standards, however." If he enters, Mayday follows after. Closing and locking the door behind her. "I've taken the liberty of bugging the entry point," index finger points to a radio station on a rickety table. "Saves us some time. But feel free to go over and get a closer view." She smiles. Sickeningly sweet, obviously deceptive.

There's a giddy laugh that fills the air from Evelyn that procs a look of intrigue from Mayday. Eyebrow perks, then her lips curl into a bright beam. They were in sync! Great minds truly thought alike it seemed. "No way!" She chirps with glee, nodding happily and passing her vials to Evelyn. "I would be honored to test out your creations. I think mine could use a little... something. Though I'm not quite sure what that something is just yet."

What better way to test out their creations than on the field? With the manor of the mission given, it didn't seem like they had to pull punches with how they chose to handle the opposition. Especially if these were past rockets who needed to be silenced. Of course, if it came down to it—which Mayday secretly but yet obviously hopes it doesn't come to—she has brought a few antidotes. However, she would be sure to have a deliberating conversation with herself and Evelyn before even thinking about using them.

A clap of excitement ensues. "Certainly! We can go shopping together right after." Ah, these were the joys of having a like-minded lovely nearby. "I saw we use this as field test one?" She was practically beaming with joy. "Ah, I'm so excited! Where's our first test subject? Perhaps we can get their critique as well~?" She steeples her fingers, exposing a toothy grin and glint of malice in her hues.

All yours. As the permission to play with a newfound guinea pig had been given, it lights a fire within the belly of the beast. Her eyes gleam in the dimly lit room, a brightness of dark origin. Her lips curl into a toothy grin as her hand slips free her pocket, Placing a small metal mask against he rmouth and nose, "gladly." The curtains rise, it's show time. And Mayday was prepared to give one helluva show. A standing ovation would be only but the tip of the iceberg.

Again, her palm reaches into the pocket of her parka and put plucks a small, ornate golden egg-shaped contraption. Her index finger taps the top and she tosses it forward towards the cowering merchant. The metal egg rolls forward, then stops. A subtle 'click' resounds before it opens, exposing small orifices around the perimeter. Then, a plume of purple smog exhumes from the ornate creation. A sensual smell invades the cellar and the merchant frantically looks about.

Then, he begins to cough. It starts as a tickle in his throat, nothing that alarms him. Until he can't seem to catch his breath. The coughing quickly shifts to a violent hacking as he finds himself on his knees, a palm clenched at his throat and saliva dribbling free his opened maw as he trembles. Gasping for air as his eyes shift to a bloodshot red. "*Hack* I-I can't—... *hack* I can't br-breathe!" Trembling still, he reaches a palm outward towards the rocket duo, his vision blurring. "I'll *hack* pay! I'll pay!!" His head falls onto the floor, forehead to cobblestone as he weakly points to a small opened safe in the corner of the room.

A puddle of drool leaks free his mouth as his body becomes limp. Unresponsive, as the egg clicks once more, closing and halting the infiltration of poison in the room.
