It would likely be the cause of no small degree of confusion, if it were to be known that Lord Athanasios of House Valentine, CEO of Reign Industries, was cleaning up a beach - With his own hands, even, and in the company of an individual that was rather less upper crust than might be expected. In the rarefied circles that corporate executives, aristocrats, and celebrities ran in, Athanasios had often found that there were two broad approaches taken when it came to introductions. First, bombast; Making a grand entrance with as much pomp and ceremony as one could conceivably arrange, to dazzle and impress all those that might bear witness. A rather juvenile tactic, in his eyes, as it reeked of a dearth of self-confidence. Why rely on flash and thunder, when one’s own personality can be entrancing enough?[break][break]

Tapping the console on his left, he ended the call and set aside the equipment he had been using to tend to his blade, ensuring that each piece was secure. Turning to Anastasia, the Gardevoir that had been sitting calmly at his side in polite, patient silence, the young noble offered her a smile. “It seems that we are here, my dear. Let us see what Martin del Mar has to offer us, shall we?” [break][break]

The elegant pokemon uttered a soft sound of agreement, flashing a sense of cool indifference into her partner’s mind - She was not expecting much, it seemed. [break][break]

Moving with stately grace, human and pokemon both comported themselves with the inherent, unshakeable dignity and confidence of those assured of their own superiority, every motion elegant and refined. “Mister del mar. This is Anastasia, one of my partners.” With a small, bright smile curving his pale lips, Athanasios turns a leather-clad hand to indicate the pokemon at his side, the lines of gold embedded in the glove glinting in the light as the Gardevoir executed a perfect curtsey.
