They were really scoring some good stuff and Hailee was pretty satisfied with what they were getting. They had missed a day yesterday but they were back to make up for it and get something good today too. They didn't take long to hop back into the water and get good in.

"Alright! Surely this time will be the one." she said with a laugh as they went around to attempt this thing again.

Hailee was glad that she and Lilli could have this little routine actually. They were a litter later today than usual but that was okay. They still hadn't missed a day yet and Hailee was proud for them. Especially since they didn't usually make a point to be as active outside as they were now. In fact, Hailee had honestly noticed her body slowly getting more toned with all the physical exertion she was going under. This was good, she normally didn't go out of her way to exercise but this was good. Especially with the swimsuit contest going on. And while her muscles were aching and she was so very very tired every night she came home, she was having such a fun time.

They were starting to show some progress. They were close to nailing this, Hailee could feel it. After a little break for lunch they were ready to go back and attempt their tricks once more. "Alrighty, let's do this!" Hailee exclaimed. They just needed to keep working at it till they succeeded.

It was going well. At least for a second before she took a dunk once more. But it was progress and that's what mattered. Returning to the process again she steps up to attempt to dunk Tam Fawley once more.

Hailee and Lilli didn't waste any time today before jumping back in the water to continue their usual morning ritual. They woke up a little later today than usual but they certainly wouldn't miss this for the world.

Two fails in a row. Maybe her head really wasn't in the game. So after taking a little break she decided to come back and try her luck again. Someone different was seated per usual. She just hoped that the break helped clear her head and that her luck would return to her once more. She offered a brief smile as she stepped up and attempted to dunk CIAN MAHER.

Hailee was so excited for this. The initial round had been a success. She hadn't expected to get on the leader boards but she was extremely grateful. The crowd was loving this, eating everyone up that had graced the runway. As the event organizers set up the next round Hailee spied Octillery on either side of the runway prepared to super soak the contestants as they passed. [break][break]

That got Hailee thinking. What if she brought the magic to them? She began digging around for just the swimsuit. A little magical moment that could make the presentation more lively. And of course, when water is mentioned she could think of no one better to have by her side than her Politoed, Lilli. [break][break]

"Let's have some fun!" She whispered to Lilli while she quickly changed into her new swimsuit. When she thought of magic she thought of witches and cats. So why not combine them? This swimsuit was themed after them both. The signature floppy witches hat adorned with cat ears. The top of the bikini was cut to resemble the ears of a cat with cute cat and heart shaped cutouts at the tip. She paired this with a cute cat-like collar choker with a bell and a bow. The choker fastened into a harness that connected the rest of the top of the bikini together. [break][break]

For the bottom she sewed a cute cat tail to the back and added her bubble wand to complete the look. They were ready to begin. Both Hailee and Lilli noted the slippery runway earlier and had decided to use it to their advantage. To the beat of the music thumping around them both Hailee and Lilli ran forward and used their momentum to skate across the slippery surface. [break][break]

They twirled and laughed their way down the runway while Hailee's bubble wand mimicked Lilli's BUBBLE BEAM as they RAIN DANCED down to the end of the runway. Hailee and Lilli blew their bubbles into the crowed before Lilli cutely sprayed the audience with a WATER GUN to cool them off. [break][break]

The droplets of water raining around them combined with the shiny bubbles caught the suns light and reflected prisms of rainbow and sparkles around them. Giggling at the fun they were having Hailee smiled and waved at the audience while Lilli leapt into her arms and Hailee hugged her close.

Guess she would never get an answer to her question since that was the first time she had missed the target since beginning today. Maybe she was getting tired or her head wasn't in the game. Either way she just shuffled to the back of the line to wait for her next turn. Approaching the target once more another guy was seated, BARNABY FINCH. Hailee inhaled deeply trying to re-center herself again before tossing the pokeball at the target again.

Hailee and Lilli took a little lunch break, finishing off their food and snacks and walking the food off for a bit before deciding to go back into the water to try their hand and scoring more treasures. "You ready to go back?" she asked and Lilli nodded.

Enough determination showed that their stubbornness and hard work paid off. "Hell yeah" Hailee cheered as she patted her Mantine. A job well done. "Well if we can do that much then surely we can go all the way." she said with a giant grin on her face. "Or we keep failing till we succeed." she laughed as her Mantine gurgled in agreement. It was time for the big leagues now.
