daughter to a wealthy business tycoon and fashion model, Hailee enjoyed the first few years of her life in utter bliss. A native to Castelia City the skyscrapers were her playground. She never wanted for anything and her parents adored her as they tended to her every needs. One day at the office here, another on the runway there. Hailee got to witness her parents both in their prime and in action. She quickly fell in love with fashion and while she certainly was every much as photographic as her mother, she drifted towards the designer threads that the models adorned instead. [break][break]

Spoiled rotten and without a care, Hailee was unprepared for the hardships ahead. One day something changed. Her parents didn't look at one another lovingly anymore. Then the fighting started. At first, only when they thought she couldn't hear but eventually it bled over into everything else. They got louder and the insults more colorful until eventually...[break][break]

divorce. she was too young to really understand what that meant, but the moment her mother packed her things and left her behind she began to understand. life at home wasn't the same anymore. her father poured himself into work and didn't have much time for anything else. His patience diminished, he had big plans for hailee and would tolerate no failure. [break][break]

between the issues at home and bouncing between her mother and father's households, hailee began to grow weary. the final straw was when she came home. someone related to her father's work. he said she was a friend but the way she hung close to him lead her to believe otherwise. she was 10 at this point, she wasn't a fool. soon she began to notice more and more shady things between the woman and her father until finally he broke the news to her. maybe she wouldn't have hated her if she didn't secretly look at hailee with such contempt. she was the spitting image of her mother, the woman must've felt threatened by that. every time her mother would visit the woman would cling to her father as if to assert dominance. it all was too much for hailee and she began to act out, both at home and school. [break][break]

something her father didn't appreciate it. rather than sending her with her mother he decided to ship her off to slateport where his sister lived. perhaps time away from the city would set her mind right. hailee could care less. she hated her household and she hated that woman that tried to replace her mother. she hated her mother for never fighting for her, for their family. and most of all she hated how her father chose someone else over her mother and her. angry, angsty, and heading into her pre-teens she moved to slateport to live with her aunt and her husband. life here surprisingly wasn't as bad. her aunt was a sweet person, understanding of how stuck up her father could be. but most of all she treated her like a normal person and hailee could appreciate that. [break][break]

years melted into years and hailee made no effort to return to the city she once loved. her father and mother would reach out but for the most part hailee was distant. they didn't want her, then she'd show them she didn't need them. but that wasn't enough, she needed to beat them at their own game. show them just how much they were missing. hailee was ambitious with lifelong goals larger than life and she wouldn't let anyone get in her way.
