While Jonesy saw it as an opportunity to make friends by helping the Florges water plants that needed a little more hydration their way, Derek stooped away waiting for the right moment to toss a pokeball at one of them. Perhaps a little uncouth, it wasn't exactly like he expected them to accept the proposition he had in mind. But if he did catch one, it would certainly find it's way in the hands of another when that holiday came around.

Suddenly, and shamelessly so, Derek lobbed a pokeball at the unsuspecting Florges.

Ahh, the wondrous smell of flowers. She had waited for this. Despite her appearance very much suiting a snowy mountaintop or the like, Violet was actually a proponent of spring more than anything. Summer was often too hot and powerful for someone of her complexion, while winter could get way too cold, especially when one wanted to wear pretty dresses. Though winter coats could be quite fashionable, too.

Usually, she just took whatever weather came along. C’est la vie, after all. But she certainly had favourites. Autumn and spring were both nicer all things considered. But spring won out due to the flower – and flower Pokemon being in bloom. It was just nice to watch them, especially when one happened upon a large congregation of Flabebes and Florges. They were just…nice to watch. Just because she was a Rocket now didn’t mean she had forgotten how to appreciate beauty. Hence, she took a slow, leisurely stroll along the fields and just watched. There wasn’t much more to say in that regard. But sometimes, that was not necessary. Sometimes, one just enjoyed the moment, really.

Hailee fed Raijin a snack while they continued on their patrol. "Careful Jin-Jin you'll choke if you eat that much at once" she said as she lightly poked his stuffed cheeks with her manicured nail. The emolga didn't seem to care though, insistent on consuming all the nutty goodness that she held in her hand. A sweet scent filled the air and pulled their attention as they looked to their left to see a swarm of florges, and even some flabebe, making their rounds around the flowers.

Hailee sighed lightly, "Ahh, c'est tres magnifique" she hummed. She absolutely adored flowers. Not to mention as spring was around the corner that was when floral patterns and prints always retuned 'season.' It was part of her favorite time in the fashion world. To see just how designers challenged themselves as they all worked with a common theme. "Alright, snack time's over. Let's get to work." she said with a giggle as she pointed at the florges. "And maybe even score one too, if we're lucky" she said with a wink as she tossed one of her pokeballs into the sea of florges.

Now that winter was releasing its hold on Hoenn, Barnaby had been tasked to film the region's springtime emergence. What better, more elegant scene to capture than a swarm of FLORGES in an endless field of flowers?

After some time had passed, he found himself sitting amongst the floral blooms. He contemplated their beauty, his two Alolan NINETALES by his side. It seemed that the Fairy-type foxes emboldened the other fairies close by, as some of the swarm ventured up to Barnaby. Suddenly, a buzzing in his pocket pulled at his attention.

A text from Martín del Mar , who also seemed to be enjoying the weather and the scenery someplace nearby. The journalist sent a simple reply. The message was accompanied by a selfie of Barnaby, happily relaxing with a FLOETTE for company.
