nagi had cleared out the empty cans, vacuumed the rug; shoved the drafts for the next five chapters of tales into the bottom of his dresser underneath his socks, and opened the windows to let the air in. [break][break]

it’s the most well-ventilated his room has been in a month. maybe two. [break][break]

even with roommates, having friends over is new to him. the one-room apartment he’d shared with his dad in kalos had been unfriendly to its occupants and hostile to guests. now, it still feels like a luxury; an indulgence. a commonplace, mundane thrill. and having DANNY HALL over is a first.
