[break][break]there's something boyishly romantic about bringing her here just because this place looks nice. it's stupid, but it's also cute, in a way. her annoyance begins to recede at the thought, slipping from her grasp. [break][break]her gaze lingers on him a beat longer, then she looks out over the cliff. [break][break]"yeah. it is," she concedes, sidling closer to the edge to look down at the salt-crusted rocks jutting out of the ocean below. it looks like a dizzyingly far fall, enough to make her stomach drop just from looking down at it. she straightens, looking over her shoulder at him.
