She does not speak until a name is offered - only then does she supply her hand to the bartender to shake, her own smile widening as her eyes fall half-lid. "Neffatari Nzingha," she murmurs after a beat, her voice warm like liquid sunlight. "You may call me Nenet."

"And unlike this 24-karat special Périgord, I am from Alola." She gives a little wink, easy to miss, before adding, "Ula'ula Island. Have you ever been there?"

A small sip of her champagne is taken after she speaks, the gold swirling within the liquid brilliantly catching stray beams of light. Her voice languid, Nenet states, "It's a shame you're on the clock." As she speaks she shifts in her seat, her elbow resting on the bar as her chin is set atop her palm. "Can't the bar owner bend his own rules?" Her eyebrow arches sharply at that, her lazy smile yet present.

"I won't tell," she promises, her voice dropping lower as if imparting a secret.

Her head tipping casually to the side as her bartender smiles, Nenet's gaze shimmers with mirth as she pointedly watches Zev move behind the bar; those golden eyes flicker to the glass produced which is filled with glittering alcohol, stars suspended in honey-hued champagne.

"Perfect," she praises lowly, though what, exactly, she's praising is ambiguous at best. Slender fingers unlacing from beneath her chin, Nenet reaches out to take the champagne glass delicately, her full lips pulling into a lovely smile. She leans just a touch forwards, towards Zev, and confides to him as if imparting a secret of her own, "My new position."

That spoken, she leans back, one hand moving to sweep over her figure as if proudly displaying a show piece, and announces graciously, "You are in the presence of Hoenn's newest Senior Astronomical Observer." Anticipating the question, the woman remarks casually, "I analyse the data we gather from telescopes and help make order from chaos." She gives a soft laugh, throaty and deep, and takes a sip of the gold-glittering champagne; a low hum settles in her throat after she swallows, Nenet's expression pleased and serene.

"This is wonderful. What is it, ..." Her mellow voice trails of into a question, her golden eyes locking with Zev's. An air of expectation he supply his name is left hanging between them.

It is a warm, if comfortable, night and the stars glitter like silver-struck sapphires.

Once Nenet saw her bags to to her hotel room and took the time to shower off the grime from travel, she dressed anew for a leisurely evening. Speaking with one of the hotel's staff leaves her with the recommendation of frittering away the night at Howling at the Moon, and a short taxi ride later sees her at the building's front door. There, she pauses, looking once more towards the shimmering sky above - light pollution muddied much of the galaxy's outline, though it was beautiful nonetheless.

Taking in a breath of the sharp sea air, the woman then walks into the bar; it's late, or early, she's not really sure which. Travelling through so many timezones did a number on her internal clock. Gathering her dress's skirt around her legs, Nenet slides onto one of the bar's stools, allowing the ambiance to wash over her. She observes a few people milling about here and there through the bar before catching the bartender's eye with a graceful tip of her chin.

Her elbows settling onto the bar she rests her chin atop her now-laced fingers as a coy smile curls across her lips. In a low, mellow timbre she orders, "Champagne, please."

I am writing to formally request consideration for a transfer from my current position as an Astrobiologist and Astronomical Observer at the Hokulani Observatory on Ula'ula Island to the Mossdeep Astrophysical Observatory as a Senior Astronomical Observer. I am requesting this transfer to better study the meteor designated 99943 METENO which is presently headed towards your Region. I believe my experience could prove valuable to your organization.

I have greatly appreciated my time working for the Hokulani Observatory where I have spent the last decade researching the Minior of Starfall Hill. When not in the field I serve as an Astronomical Observer where I have developed the skills for working of myriad telescope varieties and am adept at the analysis of physical and astronomical data. I have extensive experience, as well, at writing grant and research proposals for funding. I am truly excited to see how I can utilise my skillset at the Mossdeep Observatory as a Senior Astronomical Observer while helping your Region in what may prove to be a trying future.
