Vivan blinks at the pyroars flamethrower, the intensity of his flames was astonishing. Her quilava takes a direct hit and tumbles backwards crashing into a tombstone. While she was concerned for her pokemon Vivan knew that move wasn't enough to take out her quilava.

Recovering from the flamethrower quilava leaps back towards pyroar to face off against him. A brief relief washes over Vivan and she issues her next attack. "Use Eruption!

The flames on quilava's body flare with the command. As the fire grows larger quilava launchers a geyser of red-orange flames when it's peak buildup is met.

It was a pleasant conversation. It was a wonderful surprise that she met Elisabeth today, Vivan felt at ease with her as though the conversation flowed without any effort. She's reminded of an old saying, how the best things always come unexpectedly. Conversing with Elisabeth was really the highlight of her day.

"How wonderful! given the hard work you put into it however I don't find that surprising at all." Seeing people so passionate about their work warmed her heart. Vivan was well aware that Hoenn was a region filled with people that had great perseverance. It was inspiring and she was proud to call it home.

She nods when Elisabeth asks about her line of work, happy to talk about it. "It's still relatively new, but the name is Helping Hands. Aiming to help those affected in times of disaster and tragedies."

Peanut is enjoying her new found play mate as well. She uses her trunk to whisk the leaves into the air and chases after them as they ride on the gentle currents created by Petunia.

"That is fair." Everyone has their own preference, and Vivan wasn't one to judge. She smiles watching Cathrine's totodile "Cathrine? Such a lovely name. Pleasure to meet you, please call me Vivan." A hand is held out towards her for a handshake.

The dim lighting masks Vivan's blush as she also felt embarrassed since she forgot to give an introduction.

"If you don't mind answering, why are out so late?" She asks curiously wondering if the woman also had a job that kept her from going home early.

Vivan wasn't sure what to expect. She never experienced combat before and even though she participated in many battles before, she wouldn't consider this a casual battle - losing wasn't an option. Her one relief was that her opponent seemed rather immature and rash. The best way to win was to take advantage of his weakness.

Her quilava faces off with Elio's pyroar, the flames on her back intensifying as she prepares for battle. Vivan's other concern was Elio's gun - she was weaponless and needed to figure out a method on how to deal with his.

With sounds of other battles starting around them, and the quaking of the mountain Vivan signaled her quilava to launch the first attack. "Flame Wheel" Fire flares from Vivan's quilava, a burst of flames rushing towards his pyroar.

Fire against fire was not an ideal situation but for now she would have to make do.

Vivan was worried that there may have been some rockets sneaking around the base of the mountain. And with so many league members near the primal point, she decided it would be best for her to keep a look out for anyone suspicious. However all she was met with was an unbearable silence and a low field of vision.

The only thing to do was really wait, and move towards the primal point. Vivan nodded towards her quilava and the pair cautiously strolled through the fog. Completely unaware of the presence that was lurking towards them. Out of nowhere a man appears from the fog. Her heart rate spikes with the sound of the gun cocking.

Panic rising she assesses her enemy. He was disguised much taller than she was. However what calmed her was Elio's childish demeanor, scoffing at his mockery she didn't indulge the man in conversation. Given his behavior Vivan assumed that he was fairly young, early twenties.

A piercing screech cuts into the air - once again surprising Vivan. Though she knew she couldn't worry about that now with an opponent in front of her. Relief washes over her when the weapon is withdrawn.

"A battle you say? Fine with me." Eyes narrow as she speaks with a serious tone.

Strolling along route 104 was Vivan and her minun, minnie. Looking up towards the sky she had to use her hand to shield herself from the light, it was very sunny out today. "It's a great day to meet new friends." She comments to her minun who agreed by eagerly nodding her head.

It's been some time since Vivan last caught a pokemon. She didn't have a need for having a lot of pokemon around, but she found out that times were happier with more pokemon by her side. Gripping a pokeball she begins to be on the lookout for an encounter.

She lightly chuckles at the remark. Glancing towards the totodile "It'd be remarkable if you were able to conjure a storm such as this one. When you evolve I'm sure you'll be able to." She gives the pokemon small words of encouragement.

Vivan leans back onto the bench, shrugging to Cathrine's displeasure. "It's not easy to predict the weather. I don't think it's to big of a deal if they get it wrong a few times." She tries to reason with the woman, unsure if she would feel the same way. She continues to stare towards the empty streets, her eyes closing to the relaxing sound of rain hitting the concrete.

"Personally, I find the rain to be soothing." She speaks gently.

The day had finally arrived.

Vivan's breathing was heavy, her body trembles as she lies in wait. The only thing that was able to soothe her mind was what she had been praying for, victory. Even though she had little connections with the league Vivan had always believed in them. Believed in their ways rather than Rockets.

Up till today she had always been on the sidelines. Watching, hoping, praying for the best. However with the newest upcoming disaster she knew that she couldn't just sit around. It was time to act.

Listening to the communications line her gaze flickers around. So far, no suspicious movement around her.

A hand strokes the head of her quilava, who also remained alert.

She breathes a sigh of relief. "I'm glad to hear that" She chuckles awkwardly, somewhat surprised at Lam's reaction. In her experience most people wouldn't react the same way he did, she figured he'd be more upset. Once again Vivan laughs at his remark only this time did it sound more natural.

"Nonsense, I apologize for not using a gentler method." Noticing a feather on the man's shoulder, Vivan slowly approaches. "You missed a spot" She alerts him gently before stepping close enough to pluck it away. Retreating backwards to give him personal space again.

Minnie also wished to apologize to Lam, climbing onto his shoulders the minun gently rubbed her cheeks against his, hoping that he would forgive her. She smiles at the sight of it - but it quickly vanishes with the sound of angry squawking. Looking towards the sky Vivan realized that the wingull have returned but in mightier numbers.

"We should get out of here for now!" She said urgently unsure if it was the thunderbolt that caused them to be so angry or if it was because of something else.

"I guess so" Vivan's face brightens with agreement. Her worries fading away with Elisabeth's gentle expression. Peanut observed Elisabeth closely, the phanpy's eyes still flickered excitement and an eagerness to play. Her head tilting with mild confusion when she swept away the leaves.

Peanut saw it as a sign to preform the same trick, only this time she stopped not because of her trainer but because of Petunia. Petunia's elegance and beautiful wings mesmerized her once more. Noticing the breeze she was creating Peanut happily played along, eagerly chasing after the leaves that began to flutter around.

Her gaze softens as she watches Peanut and Petunia interact. It was heartwarming to see pokemon get along so well and easily. If only it could be this easy for society. Vivan turns back to Elisabeth a smile forms, "You are very kind." She states laughter quickly following suit. "I worry about what kind of chaos would ensue if they were left alone." She jokes as well, Vivan briefly bows her head in respect showing that she feels the same.

Her eyes glance down at the sketch book when Elisabeth ask if she's an artist. "Oh no, this is just a hobby of mine. I used to be a teacher but now I work for a non profit." Her cheeks briefly flush red as she explains her hobby. But when she speaks of her profession her tone is one of pride.

"Fiorelli? As in Fiorelli Floristy? I've never had a chance to go but I've heard many good things."
Her introduction brings up memory of the shop she would always pass by.

Vivan wasn't expecting to encounter anyone this late into the night. She was caught off guard when another person came running to to bus stop also trying to seek shelter from the storm.

She was cautious. It'd be foolish not to be given the circumstances, but once she heard a woman's voice her anxiety calmed down. Vivan shifted over to make room for the stranger, inviting her to sit down too. "It did, the weather forecast never mentioned any rain tonight." She laughs gently trying to start up a friendly conversation. "I guess we can wait out the rain together." She suggests with a smile, glancing towards the strangers totodile watching it enjoy the rain.

"At least someone is enjoying the weather."

An unexpected downpour left Vivan drenched and stranded under a bus stop. She sighs with exhaustion, placing her grocery bag on the bench she sits besides it. Eyes briefly shut as she tries to relax to the sound of rain pattering onto the concrete.

Groaning gently, her eyes open to glance at her watch. It was midnight. Her hand ruffles hair in frustration as she begins to regret her decision to go grocery shopping so late at night. Though with tight work schedule it was hard to even find time to run errands lately so it couldn't exactly be helped.

All Vivan could hope for now is that the rain would stop sometime soon, since it would be difficult to find a taxi this late at the night.

One always tends to forget their umbrella on a rainy day..

Her sketch of Peanut was completed. She just needed to draw in more details, to give it that finished look. One of Vivan's flaws was not paying attention to her surroundings while she was working on something. The nearby sounds from Elisabeth and her Vivillion were drowned out - Vivan just believed that it was wild pokemon and natural noises from the forest.

The first to notice their presence was Peanut. The phanphy quickly stood up, captivated by Petal's vibrant pink wings. Peanut started chasing after her only to tire after a few moments of sprinting she was unable to match the speed of a Vivillion. Instead her attention went to the other trainer, Elisabeth. Phanphy's head tilted with interest, her trunk sniffing at Elisabeth curiously. Becoming increasingly intrigued with each sniff.

Vivan still was unaware however when a sudden shadow loomed over her, she glanced over her shoulder to see a Vivillion. It was slightly startling but a smile overcame her brief surprise. "Why Hello! You are so stunning." She marvels at Petal's wing color and design, remembering that each Vivillion had different characteristics. She notices Elisabeth's presence when she calls out the pokemon's name. "Oh, she's not a bother at all." Vivan reassures the blonde woman with a kind nod. "So Petunia is her name? It suits her very well, beautiful." She compliments, thinking of the flower which are known for their numerous bright colors.

Putting aside her sketch book, she walks over towards Elisabeth to introduce herself. But before that could happen, Peanut decided that she wanted attention from the pretty woman too. Scooping up as much leaves as she could with her trunk and then dropping them onto her shoes. Vivan's eyes widened with shock from what her pokemon just did. "Oh my goodness! Peanut, what did I tell you about bothering others?" Phanphy however seems to be rather unaware of any wrong she did.

Vivan chuckles nervously, "Sorry about her. Peanut is very playful and loves doing silly things." She explains hoping to have Elisabeth's understanding. "Other than that my name is Vivan Flores. Your Vivillion is very beautiful."
