The chaos brought on by Caesi's gambit was both a boon and a curse, it prevented a solid one hit KO from the Beedrill's stinger piercing Rhodium's hide, but it also made the creature unpredictable as it tried to navigate this maze of electrical signals and conflicting impulses.

Calculations are thrown off by random elements that the Paradox cannot predict, the Fell Stinger scores another mighty scar through its chassis and the Iron Jugulis lets out a metallic cry of rage as it thrashes its heads about and finally knocks Queen Zing off of it, retreating to a distance and letting loose with a hail of Flash Cannons to try and make as much room as possible. It was on its last legs now and they both knew it, they would have to play the defensive game to win this match.

It was the best possible time to use it, Caesi couldn't fault the gym leader for busting out the Z-Move now at this most critical moment. She would have done the same in his position. But she still can't help but get frustrated at this turn of events as the strange yellow beast rips through Rhodium's hide and leaves a score of lightning scars upon its metal frame, putting them both on their last legs in a fraction of a second.

But the battle isn't over yet, it would all come down to this last exchange of blows between the two. "Rhodi, get up high and start prepping for the finale! Time to finish this with style!" Caesi shouts out with a confident smile, completely forgoing her usual method of orders as the Paradox takes to the air once more and starts charging up one last nasty Hyper Beam.

It's an effective strategy and there's not too much Caesi can do to stop it as Tofu continues to stick close to Rhodium and pepper it with more lightning bolts, staying just within arm's reach and not giving the Paradox Pokemon enough room to properly hit the mouse with any of its big elemental attacks. It can feel its body starting to lock up as conflicting electrical signals spike through its system, Paralysis starting to set in as the Pikachu gets its licks in and then some, all Caesi can do is watch as her partner is lit up like a Festivus tree.

"Come on, get out of his reach!" She cries out as Rhodium does its level best to comply, a burst of wind from its wings sending it up into the air, hopefully out of the Pikachu's reach for even a moment so it can catch its metaphorical breath and shake off the rust.

"Huh." Caesi remarks quietly as Rhodium's Flash Cannons totally blow the Larvitar away, rubbing her chin thoughtfully as she ponders just how this fight would go. The blow was solid... but at the same time the little guy kind of seemed like he just shrugged it off as he screams and charges Rhodium, Thrashing his little claws into its steel body and leaving scratch marks all over its chassis. Which also didn't seem to hurt the Iron Jugulis all that much...

At this point all the tension in the match kind of drained from the stadium as the Paradox Pokemon looks down at the Larvitar dispassionately, just pointing one of its maws down at the baby dragon and hitting it with a half hearted blast of Hurricane to throw the thing away. It didn't seem all that hurt from Serizawa's attacks... but it was almost like it was drained of its passion to battle from just how pathetic it was...

The sound of whirring drills is more than enough to immediately signal to Caesi just what kind of danger Rhodium was in right now, her mind kicks into overdrive alongside her pokemon as her fingers tap out a complex signal on the railing for her partner to execute. The situation was bad, but it was still salvageable.

A little known fact about Beedrill, is that much of their senses are based on reading electromagnetic fields around them. This combined with their sensitive antennae and superior vision is why they're such dangerous predators in the wild, and especially dangerous with an experienced trainer, but this is also a vulnerability if you have the knowledge to exploit it.

An electric field is deployed in the air as Rhodium's Quark Drive pulses to life, Electric Terrain covering everything and violently raising the energy levels in the air to blinding levels, immediately overstimulating one of Queen Zing's primary senses as the mechanical dragon starts violently trying to wrestle out of her grip. As soon as it gets one arm free it points up right at the wasp's face, a metallic maw opening wide and spouting a gout of flame right at Queen Zing's face, more specifically her antennae to try and screw up her sense of sight and direction even further, violently turning the tide of this battle in only seconds!

Caesi grimaces as the Pikachu gets back up and shakes off the damage done to it, the little lightning bolt was hardier than most Electric types usually were. And Rhodium was running on full cylinders firing off all these different attacks sequentially, it was only a matter of time until it took a strong hit, the future was fast approaching.

And it does its damned best to try and keep the Pikachu away with another series of Dark Pulses, but this time Tofu is just too fast as it weaves its way in between attacks, a trail of natural growth sprouting from his trail as he leaps up and lobs a blisteringly fast Electroball right at the Iron Jugulis's frame, finally landing a devastating counterblow on the flying machine as lightning power lights up the Paradox's body and causes one of its heads to short out temporarily. But the beast roars its fury to the heavens as it flies up and launches a series of Flash Cannons in retaliation, it wouldn't be going down so easy today...

Caesi's eyes narrow as the strange lightning cat puts on a sudden burst of speed, its muscles vibrating with electric power as it effortlessly begins dodging the trails of fire Rhodium was putting out. She was hoping to end the battle decisively with this last move, but it would seem like she'd need to put in just a little bit more effort if she wanted this victory. She smiles, that's just the way she likes it.

"Alright Rhodi, lets put our backs into it huh? Whip up the winds and lets see what they've got in store for us!" Xenon calls out as the flames cease, whipping up what fire remained on the battlefield with a billowing Hurricane!

The final push feels as long as eternity. A rain of the elemental forces comes down upon the charging Absol as a god's wrath from the heavens, trying to wipe clean the prophecy of doom that approaches from the earth below. But the future is written in blood and darkness, a blade of purest shadow rips through Rhodium's chassis in a dramatic spray of sparks and metal as the two fall back to the ground in a tangled mess of bodies. The winner is decided by total knockout, Gerald and Amabillium reign supreme.

Caesi lets out a frustrated groan as she holds her head in her hands, but she was never one to linger long on defeat as she gives Gerald a defeated smile and recalls Rhodium gracefully. "Good match buddy! It's good to see you in top form as always!" And with that last enigmatic parting statement, she leaves the arena to move on to the nurse's tent and get ready for the next battle.

There were a lot of ways that people tried to befriend Pokemon, from the obvious to the not so obvious. Feeding them fruits and Pokeblocks was an obvious one, but that was no way to properly link up with a dragon of the dark caverns like Noivern.

Xenon preferred to rock out with them instead. Polonium strums its bass strings and makes the cavern shake, Noiverns and Noibats alike screeching as dust falls from the ceiling from the sheer sonic rumbles echoing through the caves with every pluck of the strings. It was like taking the biggest speaker one could find, cranking the bass all the way down, then just letting it rock at full volume, that kind of bass that makes your bones shake and your brain vibrate in your skull, the kind of bass where you can't hear anything but the dull rumble of your eardrums, it was a sonic assault at its purest. And that's the kind of party that Xenon was throwing as she puts in her earplugs and waits for the swarm to clear out.

It would be coming down to the wire it looks like, a surprise Stone Edge slamming into the Paradox's undercarriage and destabilizing it in midair, sparks and smoke flying from the robotic Pokemon as the Absol begins to sprint up its earthen ladder for one final attack! Caesi grimaces as she leans forward over the railing, just stopping herself from running in to join the fight herself!

"It's make or break Rhodi! Hit em with all you've got!" She shouts as all three heads snap to attention, its arms going still under the primary head as they form into a triangular pattern aimed right at Amabilia. A flurry of elemental attacks of all kind rain down on the harbinger of doom as Rhodium throws everything it has at the Absol, Hurricanes, Flamethrowers, Flash Cannons, even Dark Pulses, anything it could just to finish this battle before she could reach it!

The Paradox is quick on the uptake as it detects an increase in the ion levels of the air, immediately backing off as the Pikachu lets loose with a Discharge of lightning in its direction! One arm points to the ground and fires off a blast of Earth Power, the ground erupting in front of Rhodium and immediately absorbing the electricity before it could hit the Iron Jugulis, while the other arm swerves around to fire off a Dark Pulse of energy as a counterattack at the speedy thing to keep the pressure going strong!

Caesi smirks haughtily as she crosses her arms over her chest, her eyes more focused on Josh than the battle itself as she gauges his reactions. Seems like he wasn't expecting such a tough fight, if he thought this would be some kind of clean sweep for him than he was about to be thoroughly embarrassed!

Rhodium easily manages to calculate the foreign Pokemon's trajectory as it sweeps up and out of its reach, taking to the skies above and raining down on the Zeraora with a storm of Flamethrowers from above, its "arms" raking the battlefield with gouts of flame and setting the whole field aflame to keep the mystery Pokemon's moves tight and controlled!

A blush springs to Caesi's face as she realizes Shalin heard her little comment, didn't mean to let that slip! "Ah, it's nothing! Don't worry about it!" She waves off the comment as the battle begins, the miscolored Beedrill springing into action with a volley of Poison Jabs straight for Rhodi's steely body!

The speed that the battle hardened soldier displays is more than enough to blitz past any calculations Rhodi was cooking within its logic engines, breaking the sound barrier and striking into its hull, eliciting a roar and a gout of Flamethrowers as it tries to push the Beedrill back so it could regain the ground it had lost in such a short period.
