Yip is caught off-guard by the Me First, it seems; because as Quill's copy of the attack strikes her, her own stream of paint goes wide! Stumbling back, she splutters a little as she ends up with a taste of her own medicine.

Something, that Ettie can't help but break down into a fit of giggles with.

But with this, Yip takes a second to study Quill as she cleans herself off. Me First certainly seems like a more powerful alternative of Copycat, but... What are its limitations, she wonders?

Eager to figure them out, she decides to Transform; painting herself into... a facsimile of Quill? (Really, aside from general natural variations in features, Yip didn't change all that much visually.)

But looking to put her newfound moveset to work, she'd proceed to use Psyshield Bash - painting a bright magenta shield, and charging at Quill with it!

Indeed; though Lucan might end up coated with paint, it only served as a smokescreen for the Pinsir to get in close. Yip would end up snatched up once more in Lucan's pincers, and would let out a whine as she got squeezed. Before anything serious can be done, she once more Teleports away...

... But not long after, flops over - done with the fight.

Ettie hums softly, walking up to scritch Yip behind the ear encouragingly, before smiling up to Onyx. "Was fun!" She chirped, cheery as can be despite the loss.

Liiiiiick, the tonguelashing Ribbit recieves is long, and wet with slobber. Yip's tail wags though as she glances down at the Froakie - seemingly having treated it as no different from a mutual grooming session...

... At least, until Ettie and Yip realize that poor Ribbit is no longer able to continue fighting.

The two share a blink, before Ettie smiles, coming up to pat Yip and Ribbit both on the head. "Did good!" She praises them both, before smiling to Cian. "Was fun! Play more later?"

The giggles Ettie and Yip give in response are lightheartedly cheeky; Yip has quickly figured out she enjoys mimickry shenanigans, and Ettie in turn enjoys watching Yip put said shenanigans to work.

But as the Froakie hops up to Lick Yip, she wouldn't really move - instead giving a quizzical look to the frog in turn. It seemed that when one used a ghost-type move against a normal-type, a Lick really was just a lick. Were they still fighting, she wondered?

It seemed to derail whatever it was that Yip had been planning to do next. Cause while she initially planned to Tera Blast the frog again... She'd instead Copycat him once more, to lean down and try to Lick him on the head!

Though the X-Scissor was a close play, Yip proved to be just that slightest bit faster - the painted blade instead deflecting Lucan's pincers, and slamming into him..!

The inertia of the swing would send Yip spinning a couple of times with a yelp. But as she soon came to a stop, she'd attempt to maintain her momentum, and fire off one last Tera Blast at Lucan while he was still within close range!

This would be the deciding exchange, one way or another...

And with that final strike, the false Iron Valiant melts completely. Or, more accurately, the paint that had formed it - Yip being left in the middle of a puddle of white-green-pink paint, with every color inbetween where it mixes. The Smeargle is visibly dizzy and down for the count, laying on her back.

Ettie smiles though, seeming to pay zero mind to the paint as she comes over to pat Yip on the head. And smiling up to Ana, she'd chirp "Thank you! Was fun! Play again later?"

At the sight of a couple of familiar faces, Ettie perked up visibly - she and Yip separating from one another. "Sio! Quill! Friends!" She greeted happily, wiggling briefly. "Mhmmm! Yip and Ettie ready!"

Yip, too, was enthused to see the duo, bouncing up onto her feet and giving a big wave and a couple friendly barks. She was happy to see the fellow Smeargle - who knew what'd come out, in their playfight?

But, speaking of which, the two were prepared to start strong. With the light from Ettie's Tera Orb, Yip would terastallize, taking on the Ghost type!

And immediately putting it to use, the Smeargle would use Tera Blast - aiming her tail at Quill, and letting loose a spray of off-gray-purple paint!

Ettie smiles back, nodding eagerly as she bounces on her heels. It didn't seem like she was here to really direct Yip too much - more interested in simply cheering her Smeargle on with whoops and little barks, being the wildchild that she was.

As far as the fight itself went, the pressure of the Tera Blast would win out against the Hydro Pump; Yip being able to avoid getting doused by this fire hydrant of a frog. She'd bounce to the side just in case still - briefly shaking herself, as if to further pump herself up.

Curious about the attack though, the Smeargle would decide to Copycat it - firing off a spray of water from her tail in a Hydro Pump of her own..!

Oh dear Arceus, there wasn't much poor Yip could do against the Pinsir's wrath. Though she'd bounce away from the first few snips of Lucan's pincers, the next would catch her and proceed to squeeze..! Yelping, Yip's only escape from an instant KO would be to Teleport - though she was still left smarting from the strike, stumbling back some.

Backed up to the figurative wall, she'd attempt to once more turn Lucan's moves against him - Copycat-ing the Guillotine! Forming a blade at the end of her tail from her paint, she'd swing it around, attempting to bring it down on him..!

This desperation move succeeded - at least for now. The Spirit Break sliced into Yip's metal chassis, drawing another electronic yelp and forcing her back. She'd stumble a bit, lights and electricity flickering and her form appearing to be starting to melt, dripping with paint.

They were both on equal grounds, in this moment.

But Yip was eager to try and secure a victory - the opportunity was there, she just had to take it! Keeping her distance from Rose, she'd attempt to fire another Moonblast, hoping that an evasive maneuver was the play.

Though a Mega Evolution was a stunning sight - and would be scary... It seemed that Yip had the upper hand here - perhaps due to a brief adjustment period?

Regardless, as the two met, she'd eagerly use the supernatural strength offered by the Copycat'd Vital Throw to snatch Lucan by his pincers. And twirling around, the Smeargle would proceed to spin, spin, before YEETing the bug away!

And quick to follow up on the attack - in the hopes that she wouldn't have to face the Mega Evolved Lucan's wrath - Yip would once more pick her tail up, to fire off another Tera Blast spray of paint!

Bzzzap! Yip yelps - stumbling and swaying. But though she is becoming rather tuckered out... She seemed a bit more disgruntled by the fact that her fur was getting all puffed up once more...!

But this time, even as her muscles jolt a bit from lingering electricity, she sees Tofu's attack coming. And going for what worked before, she once more Copycats Tofu, to try and clash against his Iron Tail with an Iron Tail of her own..!
