Camila smiled as she reached to pick up a dart of her own. “Excellent.” She hummed. Camila had played darts when she was younger. It was part of what helped her pocket a little extra cash when she couldn’t trust her mother to provide for her. Back then, Camila knew all different types of games. She was fairly good at them too. Of course, what made her better was how she could cheat without being detected, but naturally she considered herself lucky. [break][break]

But that was back then, almost 20-30 years ago. She’d long sense hung up her gambling hat years ago. Once she’d made it into medical school there was no reason to continue doing such devious deeds. Instead she’d promised to live honestly from that point forward. Nikolai went first and did pretty well, she hated to admit. Honestly he did so well she started to get nervous. What if she choked when it was her turn? (And not the good kind either!) [break][break]

Camila kept a poker face on her features as she stepped up to the stall to take her own shot. Her face faltered as she watched her dart miss the target embarrassingly. “Ahaha.” She said as her smile twitched. “Unlucky warm-up is all.” She said as a slight flush colored her cheeks.[break][break]

"Holy shit...." Cami said as she felt her face grow hotter. Was this really a game? The accuracy of this scenario wasn't missed on Cami. Hell, the game even knew about them having a kid. Her gaze lingered on how the apron rested against Nikolaj's body and as she re-read the passage again, she could feel herself drooling just thinking about what she would do if she was in his arms like that right now.[break][break]

"Okay, okay, okay. Calm down Cami. It's just a game." she said as she selected her next option. [break][break]

She had no fever but she was clammy to the touch. Camila didn't want to worry Nikolaj but right now what she wanted and what she could do couldn't have been further apart from each other. The cool touch of the bathtub was keeping the nausea at bay while tired steel blue orbs lifted as Nikolaj approached. [break][break]

"I'm...fine." she replied softly. Clearly that wasn't true but she was still trying her best not to worry him. It took all of her energy to lift her hand and place it on Kolya's. "I probably ate something bad is all. You can head back to sleep." she said as she sat up. The movement was jarring and caused the nausea to rush back. [break][break]

"Hurk." Cami covered her mouth as she leaned closer to the toilet. Normally when she would get sick like this throwing up would make her feel better but this time she just felt miserable. Either way, she knew she couldn't just stay here. "Actually...Bring..." Cami said with a pant, "Bring me my medicine bag please." she asked Nikolaj as she attempted to slowly stand to her feet.

"The Ferris wheel's pretty and we might get good views. You want to head up there?" He asked as the continued to make their way through the funfair. "Hmm" Camila said as she stared off at the Ferris Wheel in the distance. She sort of wanted that to be the last stop they make for the evening. To wrap up a fun date with a romantic ride on the Ferris Wheel. [break][break]

"Maybe we can take a look at some of these game stalls first along the way." She said just as they passed by one. It was a dart throwing game. You needed to hit the target and pop the balloon. Hit enough of them again you could win a cute prize. "How about we try this one?" Camila asked as she pointed towards the stall. A cheeky grin formed on her lips as she looked back at him. "How about we make it a competition?"[break][break]

If there was one thing to know about Cami it was that she was extremely competitive. Family board game night was not to be taken lightly as long as Camila was participating. She'd been like this for as long as she could remember. A friendly competition was good for the soul after all.

This new game had been taking over Hoenn by storm lately and it was all anyone could talk about at the office. Hell, she mostly knew about it since she'd manage to lose a bet which required her to offer her services to the company so she'd have her own route in the game. But what she hadn't expected was to be staring at a tailored route for just her. [break][break]

A deep blush creeped on Camila's features as she squealed and rolled around on her bed. Did she spend a ridiculous amount of money for this DLC? Absolutely, but it was worth it in her eyes. Her slender fingers scrolled through the options available to her before picking the best one, in her opinion. [break][break]

It was going to be a long night.[break][break]

When was the last time they went out on a proper date? With everything going on in Hoenn lately they didn't have much time to really considering going out. Rather they were more focused on spending time with each other where they were comfortable, which was their home. Don't misunderstand, Camila loved their home, hell they'd lived there for the last 20 years, but now that they had the freedom to do so, she was glad they could spend some quality time on an actual date.[break][break]

This funfair was already hitting notes that were both expected and unexpected. Expected that children would be running around and screaming at the top of their lungs. It reminded her of when saskia volosenkova was younger and they would take her on trips like these. Kids will be kids after all. Unexpected was how cute and adorable Kolya looked in their matching outfits. They'd even taken a selfie together and sent it to their daughter to commemorate the moment.[break][break]

"Cami, I don't think this is a good look on me," Nikolaj complained as he adjusted the mascot ears on his head. Meanwhile his wife, who looked fitting in the ensemble, stifled a laugh as she looked at Kolya. "Aww my poor Papa bear," Cami's voice trembled as she continued to resist the urge to laugh, her lips twitching as she did so. "But you look so cute! Here let me help." Camila said as she stepped in close, reaching up to adjust the ears. [break][break]

Once she was finished her hands slid down to his face as she gently caressed his cheeks before giving him a playful boop on the nose. "There, perfect. Just as handsome as when I first met ya." she said with a giggle she could no longer hide. Wrapping her arm around his she leaned against his shoulder, "Thank you for humoring me." she said as her steel blue orbs peered up at him.

"Now, where should we begin, hmm?"

Camila was used to taking care of other people when they were sick not actually ending up sick herself. So whenever she was under the weather, the ever wise practitioner of medicine would often forget all her medical training and revert back to how she acted when she was a young.[break][break]

Today was no different. For the past couple of days she just hadn't felt like herself. Her appetite was low, she could barely handle the smell of food now. She was nauseous and constantly experiencing temperature shifts. She wasn't sure what kind of cold or virus she was coming down with but she wished it was over with as soon as possible. [break][break]

Early this morning she'd long left the warm comfortable bed of her and Kolya's and instead spent her time drifting in and out of conciousness in the bathroom, the toilet bowl being her best friend. Now as she laid with her cheek pressed against the cool tile of the bathtub she counted this current lull in her nausea a blessing. [break][break]

"Hmm" she groaned to herself softly as she closed her eyes. She felt so lethargic as well. Being sick was miserable. At this point she wasn't even in her right mind to even potentially recognize the symptoms to properly diagnose herself, all she knew was that she wanted this all to pass. She'd pray to whoever if it meant she could make it past all of this sooner.
