Hearing about something and then actually experiencing it were two completely different things. The strange way the world seemed to be fragmented and lifted high above the clouds was jarring to the human mind, it was almost as if they were thrown into a fantasy world, disconnected from the Heonn she knew and grew up in. so much so she was even beginning to doubt the compass she brought, the report given to them said they needed to investigate the broken seal to the east.. but will east really be east?

[break][break]When Naia figured out the cast that would be coming with them she didn't recognize any name.. expect for one. Mirabella Fontaine had every sign indicating that she was from Rocket, being at the casino should have been the biggest flag, her connections mannerisms, but still Naia didn't think she was. Even more so Mira was slowly becoming a source of anxiety, a sole witness to the fact that Naia had been betraying Rocket by their standards.

[break][break]"U-um.. Has.. anyone even been in here before?"

[break][break]She waited for people to reply, hoping maybe they could come up with some sort of plan, or understanding on how to tackle stuff next. But if it had been quiet for too long, or once people had finished answering her question she'd pipe up with another.

[break][break]"I-ah.. I don't know if this is reliable.. but I brought a compass. We can always just head east from there.. They mentioned uh.. waterfall so we can just follow bodies of.. water too.."

[break][break]The nervousness in her voice was evident and even more so, she was purposefully keeping Mira out of her sight as she spoke. Between the ends of her stuttering and slow speech, Naia was gunna stop there, but then remembered she hadn't introduce herself yet.

Her reunion with Isaac Merlo was good and all however Naia had seemed to completely forget that this was a social gathering and with a commotion more and more people seemed to pile in onto their friendly displays. However these two new people that joined in on their affairs weren't just any strangers as Naia would come to learn, they were actually the lovers of her friends.

[break][break]"I dunno what you mean, I'd say the show just walked in~"

[break][break]That much was very apparent when from just the strange and flirtacious way that Isaac was talking, Naia was completely in shock to see a whole new side of her friend. In all honesty she almost forgot that Isaac was in fact a man just outside of her friend, and seeing him in his lovey-dovey state to ana fell sort of reminded her how Ashley Shepard would talk about his flower with the difference of.. well Isaac seemed way more flirty and assertive.

[break][break]Even though she had been helped back up onto her feet a new voice took all of Naia's attention, as her head would spin to the familiar voice. Not only was it Amor Rose himself but he was even holding onto Elise Calcifet in such a cuddly fashion that Naia was starting to convinced that what Mirabella Fontaine had handed them was hallucinogens instead of alcohol. It was at this moment she realized that she hadn't spoke to any of the new comers and had just been watching in awe at everything.

[break][break]The last name was in more of a question as she desperately tried to remember what Amor said, as Naia would make her way over to one of the seats, making sure that at least the couples would be able to comfortably seat together, but within the group. Once seated Naia would have realized that she had some unread texts and a pout would instantly grow on her face as she'd frantically be texting away.

[break][break]This wasn't how she expected this to go, and worse of all it seemed that Remiel Calcifet was thinking about getting people to pick them up and even wanted Naia to hand the phone over to Elise.

[break][break]"Elisss, my fiancé wants to talk to you. He's been confusing me all night!"

[break][break]With puffed cheeks and no further explanation she'd just hold out her phone over to Elise, hoping that she'd just comply instead of Naia now having to explain to Remiel on why his cousin couldn't get to the phone suddenly. That could possibly go back. But while Elise would eventually be busy with texting Naia's attention was freely able to go back to everyone, a happier smile now on her face as she'd speak up.

It was surely a new experience for Naia, and with such experiences she found herself weightless, limber and excited. A huge contrast to the bitter drink she had moments ago, this green drink was far more.. elegant but it wasn't her favourite tasting one either. The black licorice-ish taste with mint and a consistency that just rolled down the throat made it far too easy to both hate and down in quick succession.

[break][break]Like a thirst that couldn't be quenched Naia couldn't help herself but ask for something far more sweeter the next time the waiter made their rounds, just wanting to have something to counter balance it, and just to not be rude she made sure that she ordered enough for all of her new friends, Elise Calcifet and Mirabella Fontaine . At some point Naia had lost count with the drinks, was it just three? Was it two? Was it four? It didn't matter, what mattered more was that she was having more than she did earlier in the evening.

[break][break]Never had she felt so relieved from all her anxiety and stress, and as such she just had such a burning desire to spread and share it amongst all her friends, especially the ones she couldn't see nearby. It suddenly became a rush to continue rolling the slots, as winning and losing didn't matter to the rich lady, she was just starting to enjoy the spinning colours and loud music that accompanied it.

[break][break]Then it came. Isaac Merlo had been one of the people she was texting said that they would be coming to the party now, meaning she needed to find him.

[break][break]She didn't realize how drunk she had become when the first thing that happened upon getting up from her seat was the world spinning. It was strange to feel perfectly fine one second and then drunk the next, and such a thing was very jarring to the woman who hadn't so much drank before night. But none the less she had to press forward.

[break][break]It mattered not if they came or not, even if it would make her very excited if they did, Naia knew she had to go on this adventure because she promised Isaac she'd look for him. With a half ass attempt at pulling her skirt out of the way Naia would sway her way around the casino, a drunken yet serious look on her face as she hunted down her fellow Rocket. It was just as her short attention span was beginning to wane did she finally spot someone with familiar blonde hair and short height, and a bright and excited smile would grow on her face.

[break][break]It was probably the loudest anyone would have heard Naia, including herself, as she picked up the pace and rush over to him. But as fate would have it, rather than just stepping on the floor she instead stepped onto the front of her skirt causing her to trip over herself. With wide eyes Naia expected to hit the ground, however just as Isaac as always been so reliable, the next second she found herself back in his arms.

[break][break]Despite there being a mishap with tripping, it was almost like a beat wasn't missed when she registered it was him who caught her, her arms instantly coiling around his head to pull him into a big hug. The momentum of her fall and now her throwing her weight over onto Isaac would cause nearly any person to tip backwards and fall onto the ground.

[break][break]While the fall didn't necessarily hurt, the sharp pointy accessories on his head jamming into her chest wasn't exactly painless, and with now requiring an awkward and drunken second to pull her arms out from underneath the both of them, she'd pull her torso at least up from him to look down at him. What started as a small pout would shift back into a smile before a drunken laugh would escape her lips, as she clumsily tried to get off from him.

"I don't much either however I have attend a lot of Tea parties, balls, and many other events in Kalos. I have learned to handle crowds a lot long time as well. Believe you will get used to it. I must represent my region after all and it been sometime since I am attend a party so. I decided why not come."

[break][break]“That is understandable, I don’t think I attend casinos a lot myself. I’d much prefer my time in studying Galarian politics with my cousin's mentoring than mingling with a very large crowd here.”

[break][break]Naia was a bit lost on this conversation, her mother rarely made her attend special dinners or meetings unless her mother knew without a shadow of a doubt she had control over the situation. Naia just needed to sit there and be a good hostess, occasionally repeat what her mother wanted and act like a glorified servant. This was different and it was so different she didn't really know how to take it.

[break][break]She didn't really know how to take the compliment or really understand how she made a splash. Was it a good thing? A bad thing? She couldn't help but feel more embarrassed as the night went on, her flushed ears becoming even brighter and the back of her neck getting warmer too. Maybe it was the drink that was making her feel warmer, either way she could only hope it wasn't that noticeable.

[break][break]This time she wasn't going to fall behind. Though a dilemma arose-- Naia already had a drink, a drink that was still over half full at this point. It wasn't that she particularly liked this drink, and honestly it burned every time she drank it, but she couldn't help herself but feel uncomfortable with just leaving it.

[break][break]At those words Naia would take in a deep breath, calm herself down and did her best to chug down her drink. However she couldn't force herself to down the whole thing in one go, having to take a second to stop and recover from the bitter burning sensation. An entire shiver running through her body before she had to steel herself and continue.

[break][break]It was by the time the waiter came back with their drinks did she finally finish hers, the feeling of the alcohol sitting heavily in her stomach when he carefully laid out the drinks in front of them. It was a spectacle, some oddly shaped spoon balanced delicately over their drink with what looked to be a sugar cube on it? Next came with a shot glass of some clear liquid, which Naia hoped was water, placed down beside each glass.

[break][break]Her eyes would nervously dart over towards Mira and then to the waiter as she'd op to quietly hand her empty glass to them while Mira or the waiter would explain to them how they were supposed to drink and cheer for this drink. It didn't help that their drink was actually green when Naia thought it was supposed to be hypothetical, none the less a free drink is kind enough.
