DELILAH SILPH is a beloved celebrity who has gained a tremendous amount of popularity across many of the world’s regions. Originally Delilah Ceres, she was adopted into the Silph family as a young child alongside siblings Yui Fujin Silph and MATIAS SILPH. Unlike some of her siblings, Delilah embraced her adopted parents' high expectations, thriving under their tutelage and taking full advantage of the resources at her disposal. Addicted to the spotlight and blessed with a charismatic, creative demeanor, Delilah gravitated towards the performing arts as a young child. Singer, actress, model - Delilah does it all. She is an ambitious woman who is fueled by adoration and positive attention, which may be an unconscious coping mechanism for dealing with the knowledge that her birth parents didn’t want her. Delilah believes a family as important as the Silphs need to maintain a good reputation with the general public, and has taken it upon herself to ensure they are always well-respected by the masses.

Delilah was born in Saffron City, Kanto on August 1st, 1997
She was adopted by the Silph family when she was 8 years old
She attended private school all throughout her childhood, and was quickly identified as a gifted musical performer
Delilah got her first acting job in 2007 when she was 10 years old
Delilah attended the prestigious Wyndon Academy of the Performing Arts in Galar from 2015 - 2019
After graduating from the Academy, Delilah focused on musical theater, but she was soon cast in her first major motion picture in 2020
Delilah moved to Unova in 2020 to focus on her film career
She released her first recorded album in 2021
Delilah recently moved to Hoenn to be closer to family, the Silphs having relocated from Kanto while she was focusing on becoming a celebrity
Delilah's parents are deceased
She owns her own makeup brand called Lilah

Delilah is publicly aligned with the League politically, and will often show up at League-sponsored charity events to show her support for dahlia goode and her government
In September 2023, Fletcher Hyland, a member of the Slateport police department, showed up unannounced at her penthouse, declaring that there was a "a credible threat to her life" and that she needed to be put under constant supervision while the police conducted their full investigation. He now works as her bodyguard and protector.
In April 2024, Delilah visited the HBIC and spoke with agent Gunner Graves regarding the threat to her life, the result of which revealed that the HBIC was unaware of any such threat...frustrated, Delilah has taken it upon herself to investigate independently of any League authorities.
Despite her brother, Councilman FERNANDO SILPH, commanding her to leave Hoenn, Delilah has stubbornly decided to stay, involving herself in various League-sanctioned initiatives, such as exploring the various rifts around Hoenn - much to the Councilman's chagrin.
Delilah has an amicable, working relationship/alliance with the Kalosian ambassador, Julien Demassieux

Delilah has always had an interest in dreams after a lifetime of having especially vivid dreams, and after playing a strange otome route in the wildly popular Rondez-View of Luv game, she has developed an interest in the Interdream Zone
Delilah is very close with her sister Yui Fujin Silph, always looked out for her when they were kids and regrets not keeping in touch more once she got busy with her acting career
Delilah has a somewhat strained relationship with her brother MATIAS SILPH, and though she always liked his former-fiancee Eva Morales, she finds his unpredictable, chaotic nature bad for the family’s overall reputation
Delilah has a complicated relationship with her brother, FERNANDO SILPH. She does not resent him for being the heir to Silph Co., as she always knew her future would be in performance rather than business, but she is currently frustrated with his demands that she leave Hoenn. He calls her Ceres in private.
Delilah has grown suspicious of Fletcher Hyland, but wars with these suspicions internally because she has also grown quite fond of him...

Delilah's reunion with Yui had been bittersweet. Though her younger sister had acted outwardly delighted, Delilah knew her well enough to tell that, beneath the genuine joy, she had been holding back a measure of resentment. Guilt had burned through Delilah as a result.[break][break]
She ought to have called Yui more but the film industry didn't exactly allow for a lot of free time. Then the dome had prevented her from visiting. Still, she had done her favorite sister a disservice and she knew it. Unfortunately, there hadn't been much time to make it up to her yet; she'd have to deal with that later, once they were done with Matias.[break][break]
On the subject of FERNANDO SILPH, she made no comment. She would pay her respects to the heir once she was more settled. Surely he would understand that this matter took precedence.[break][break]
It's not like he would have come with them anyway.[break][break]
"Matias," She smiled back at him even though his initial friendliness had been directed at Yui. She entered his home without waiting for him to officially invite them it. "Don't you know? I booked this trip because a certain brother of mine was getting married." She reached into her purse, pulling out the original "save the date".[break][break]
"It seems said wedding will no longer be taking place," she continued, and though her tone was concerned, her eyes were scrutinizing. Why is that, Matias? was the unspoken question.

Tucked away by a placid lake, surrounded by a wooded thicket dappled with sunlight, there was a peaceful little ranch. It was quaint and quiet, save for the natural sounds of birds chirping, insects buzzing, and leaves rustling in the breeze. The scents of spring - blooming flowers and fresh grass - permeated the warm air. The entire scene looked like a postcard snapshot of some relaxing forest getaway.[break][break]
Which was ironic, considering the man who lived there.[break][break]
Delilah glided up the walkway, heels clicking on stone, until she was at the front door of the house. Behind the tall woman, an elegant Ariados crawled, surveying the landscape with her keen violet eyes. Against all odds, Delilah's assistant had managed to secure her two hours of privacy during what was otherwise a busy day full of meetings and appointments.[break][break]
She had been back in Hoenn for less than 24 hours and already she was dealing with a sensitive matter. Such was the fate of a woman who's brother was predictably unpredictable.[break][break]
