And here she thought all the psychos were in Team Rocket... standing before her was quite the outlier for a League Member. Not to mention all those tattoos.. could kids just get tattoos whenever they wanted?[break][break]

Akira would grit her teeth as the Milo continued to talk at her. He gave off such conflicting vibes. Wanting to play, not confused when a fight begun. How was that an adverse reaction? He was a league member wasn't he? Or- at least she thought that was the case, she hadn't seen him among the other grunts in the organization.[break][break]

"I'm not sure what you mean by that," she said instinctively, responding to his question. "But if you're apart of the league- well, I've been told to defend the cave from the likes of you. Don't take this personally-"[break][break]

Widening her stance, Umbreon would react in turn. Despite the pokemon's fatigue and half-bean form, it would also prepare to attack. "Umbreon, use Dark Pulse!" With a sharp inhale, Umbreon would puff out their chest and charge an attack, before releasing a shot of dark matter at Pumpkaboo.

This idiot was joking, right? Of all the edgy motherfuckers she'd met in Hoenn... this kid just happened to hate fucking Alleyways?! God- fucking-[break][break]

"THEN STOP HATING IT THEN, DIPSHIT!" She found herself yelling fiercely. "Hate a door into existence or something! Hell, hate literally anything else and see if that does something!"[break][break]

Looking over her shoulder, she noticed the odd monster still pursing them, though being slowed by the efforts of the boy. A loud tsk would escape her. "You suck at this... Umbreon!" Pulling a pokeball out of her pocket, she would summon her Umbreon- it landing gracefully on her shoulders. "Use Confusion Ray!"[break][break]

Almost instinctively, Umbreon's chest would puff up- before releasing a loud bark in the form of a ray of purple light being directed at the monster. Such would make contact with the creature after X-Scissors, reverting it into a state of confusion.

"Wha- Why are you all looking at me like that?" It was the first thing that came out of her mouth upon reappearing in the previously active combat arena. Cracks along the earth, a literal safety hazard to walk over... And all she could see was Umbreon making friends with Kouji's Absol and Scraggy. "Y-you all didn't hear that did you? About the bags?"[break][break]

She wasn't sure, but what she was certain of was the figure of a familiar man walking back. Finally, a distraction- even though she was going to have to tell him the bad news. "Kouji! What the hell, where have you been?!-"[break][break]

Despite the harsh tone, her voice died away he approached. She saw his hands, how they were discolored. Did.. did he...[break][break]

No. Nono. It's Berry Jam. It was a ridiculous though, but one that made her evade the reality of the situation. As he got closer and closer, she walked towards him- slowly removing a towel from her bag and handing it to him. "I assume it's been done... here, keep it. Uh-"[break][break]

Once again, she trailed of... how was she going to word this to him? "So- I got some bad news. We won the fight but, the cave kind of... ate the bags."

God.. she was so screwed. Everything imaginable had gone wrong with that Cargo run. The payload being eaten by the cavern, Mimikyu getting beaten, her pride being hurt... She wanted so badly to just crawl into bed and pretend this day didn't happen. And even that was hopeful thinking considering how sore she was going to be...[break][break]

"Oh... Why did I join Rocket..." she grumbled quietly to herself, treading slowly through the cavern to hopefully exit before sunset. She would quietly kneel down and pick up Umbreon, giving her a few pats in return for a happy purr. "...You did really good today, Umbreon. Maybe I'll get you a treat on the way home..."[break][break]

A suddenly noise would surprise Akira, causing her to physically jump. Due to the surprise, Umbreon would leap out of her arms and stand ready. Despite how tired they were, they were prepared to defend their trainer. "Tsk, Show yourself! I'm not in the mood to play in this fucking cave anymore!"

The triple attack would send ripple across the cave, breaking the flooring and causing stalagmite to clatter downwards. Victory over the Dugtrio was apparent, but the aftermath supposed forth an onslaught.[break][break]

For a nimble creature like Umbreon, dancing around the ground to dodge the aftermath. But it couldn't say the same for it's companions. In an attempt to help Absol, Umbreon would unleash a powerful bark- breaking a falling stalagmite with Dark Pulse and reverting it into dust. The creature would then fall gracefully onto the ruined earth, wagging it's tail and giving Absol and Scraggy a happy look.[break][break]

Meanwhile, Akira had managed to climb down from the ledge she'd been placed upon, seeing the thrown backpacks into the distance. "Are you fucking.. kidding me..." she grumbled, attempting to scale the other hill where the backpacks hung.[break][break]

Then, before her very eyes, she watches as the cliff begun to sink into the ground... the backpacks being swallowed as the cavern attempted to mend itself from the battle's destruction. "No- nononono!" She found herself yelling, rushing to climb and reach out for the backpacks-[break][break]

Gone. Just like that. The payload was gone, leaving Akira in shocked silence... Oh No.. In silence, she found herself scaling back down the cliff, attempting to walk out where the pokemon were. And.. it was clear Akira was deflated confidence wise. Where the hell was Kouji anyways?

Before she could meet the sweet embrace of death by colliding with the cavern floor, the iron grip of a pokemon would catch her out of midair, thus landing off onto a edge overseeing the battle. Flabbergasted by the past few seconds, Akira would stumble to catch her balance. "H-holy shit," she gasped, turning to look at Scraggly. Gosh, he looked more... rough up close.[break][break]

"Uh- thank you Scraggy!" Compared to her icy exterior towards Kouji, the expression on her face was mixed with relief, gratitude, and softness. "You should probably help Absol and Umbreon, I'll be here! I- need to find the backpacks anyways!"[break][break]

Meanwhile, Umbreon would bark in response, gearing up another Confusion Ray as Absol came in for a charging Psycho-Cut- the burst hitting just before the glowing strike. As a follow up, Umbreon would gear up and charge forward- using Snarl before striking with Assurance. The impact from it's power strike would cause Umbreon to throw itself backwards. Yet unlike it's trainer, it skidded into a defensive crouch, barking to indicate to Absol that it was ready to follow up with another support strike.

It seemed that with the combined force of Scraggly and Umbreon, the Steelix was knocked out- it's grand form clattering to the ground and dimishing in a fading light- likely being recalled to its owner's pokeball. Akira wanted to celebrate, but such was interrupted by the feeling of the ground shaking below her.[break][break]

"Oh no, this has to be some kind of-" BAM! Erupting from below the ground, the Dugtrio from before would emerge, suddenly catapulting Akira and the backpacks next to her into the air. She screamed in surprise, realizing all to soon that she was airborne and falling towards the motherfucking ground![break][break]

As a reaction, Umbreon would turn and release a powerful park, unleashing a Confusion Ray upon the Dugtrio.

"Hey! Where are you going?!" It was clear that, unlike Kouji, Akira had been more focused on the fight itself. She hadn't noticed the Trainer nearby, so merely thought he was running off to cause trouble. She opened her mouth to shout, but her teeth instead gritted in annoyance. "God damnit! Fine, I just have to do everything myself!"[break][break]

Dropping the backpack on her back to the ground, Akira assumed a more comfortable battle position. Digging out her other pokeball from her bag, she threw it in the air "Mimikyu, go!" out came the twitching abomination, landing just as the Steelix's gyro attack finished. "Use Astonish!"[break][break]

In almost foreign way, the pokemon would... raise it's cloak slightly, causing the pokemon to flinch. Such would cause Kouji's pokemons to strike. Following this, the beaten up Steelix would roar in outrage, swinging it's tail to hit the Mimikyu twice, resulting in them being thrown across the grand space! "Mimikyu! D-Damnit! Umbreon, use Dark Pulse!"

Wait- oh god- was that a drop? She tried to warn him about the light, and how it could be a potential end to both of them. But before she could say anything, Kouji took them over the edge! Skidding downwards, Akira couldn't hold back the surprise in her tone- neither could Umbreon hold back their whining.[break][break]

Akira's landing was nowhere as graceful as Kouji's. Scraped knees would make contact with the ground as she hastily pushed herself up- adrenaline fueling her form. "R-Right! Deal with the offensive, I'll support you!"[break][break]

Before she knew it, the Steelix came bursting forward. Kouji seemed to know what he was doing. All more of a reason to stay out of the way, "Umbreon, use Confusion Ray and Assurance!" she ordered, in the process putting Mimikyu back into her pokeball. Like before, Umbreon would unleash a shockwave of a bark, the Confusion Ray making contact and confusing the poke- all of which made Kouji's assault that much stronger and easier.

"Why are you ASKING ME?! Hell- does it even matter?!" It was pretty clear that they were both equally panicked, as the motherfucking creature chasing her finally showed itself. God- it looked more scary then before! "It's big, it's angry, and it flies! That all I need to know to realize it spells DANGER!"[break][break]

She didn't even have time to scold the boy for grabbing her and pulling her along. But in the end, it helped her keep moving despite being fatigued. She was prepared to tell Umbreon to use Confusion Ray, but it seemed that the boy was way ahead of her-[break][break]

Oh.. this was so fucked. Why did she ever volunteer herself for this?! "Okay so- you said this place is infinite?! There has to be a door here right?" Akira panted. "I've.. I've heard people talk about how this place can warp to memories. But I don't remember any of this, is this your hellscape of a fucking maze?!"

Damnit... this was all Kouji's fault.... that loud brute. Making her run through all those caves, getting her beaten up by a league trainer. Mentally she was usually pretty resilient to abuse and misfortune. But physically... that was a whole 'nother story. Usually she was the type to take responsibility for her actions, but it was his fault she was so tired to begin with...[break][break]

Not like it mattered now. He wasn't here, just her and... what was likely going to be the cause of her death.[break][break]

She couldn't bring herself to look up, mostly due to the embarrassment she was experiencing. But it was pretty evident she was listening.[break][break]

...But just because she was embarrassed, it didn't mean her sharp tongue would know it's limits. "-Its Akira, not Grunt."[break][break]

It came out almost instinctively, and she regretted it immediately. Shit, shit was the hell was wrong with her? Attempting to play it off, Akira forced herself up off the ground and silently exhaled; Attempting to reset and recover her usually cold exterior of a mask. "-Sorry, That was uncalled for. I do understand the importance of the job I was given. Slacking was- not the intention of this slip up, Sir."

"Tsk, I'm working on it!" Unlike Kouji, she was quick to respond, scrambling to her feet and taking off running. With the Dugtrio dazed for the moment, Akira took the initiative to scooping up Mimikyu and order Umbreon to chase after her.[break][break]

Keenly aware of the interception of the second pokemon- what appeared to be a Steelix- she was more surprised by the firm grasp of a hand on her wrist from the darkness pulling her down the path. Normally she would be furiously against the idea of someone physically grabbing her- but neither of them seemed to be in a spot to complain much. As they ran, Umbreon provided support, shooting off Confusion Rays into the dark to stall the incoming pokemon and give Kouji's pokemon a window to strike![break][break]

"Look, up ahead!" The view of a patch of light could be seen further down the tunnel. "It looks like an exit! Maybe it'll take us somewhere more open then this!"

"I- I said there was two outlines! Tsk- god damnit! YES there was another one!" The sound of Akira sounding annoyed would resurface, her teeth gritting against each other. Damnit, they were going to be in for it weren't they! Hopefully this time they could- just deal with the pokemon instead of the trainer.[break][break]

..Wait, run? Thanks to the darkness of the cave, the semblance of surprise across her face would be hidden from the likes of Kouji- not like he would pay attention anyways. But- she could barely carry these damn backpacks! let alone run with them! "I- of course I can! Just because I don't like this doesnt mean I'm incapable..." she grumbled, before hoisting her bag all the way onto her back and buckling it. Wordlessly Umbreon would take the hint and take off back into the dark.[break][break]

As they finally set off and Kouji turned to look at Akira, the visage of the ground behind her breaking in a fine line could be seen. And, as it rushed towards her feet, Akira would trip and fall with an ack! Looking down to see what had tripped her, she was mortified to see a Dugtrio pop out from below her. "Oh shit! Umbreon, use-"[break][break]

Without even having to say anything, Umbreon would bark from the shadows, sending forth a Confusion Ray to distract the Pokemon. It would then bark furiously, as if to gander the attention of Akira. "Tsk- Mimikyu!-" Hastily grabbing a pokeball from her bag, she threw it out- thus manifesting a rather twitchy looking pokemon in a... pikachu disguise? "Uh- Play Rough!"

A megacorp heiress from another land, Oda Akira has been running from the law over the murder of her brother. While she is new to Hoenn, her attempts to start a new life have garnered the pursuit of her past- a search she fiercely works to not be associated with. In order to hide in plain site, she's joined Team Rocket. All she wishes to do is keep her head low... and keep her identity hidden at all costs.

Nothing. A nobody in a crowd of monsters. For someone who willingly joined Team Rocket, not much is really known about her: and she works hard to keep things that way. Simply known as Akira, she works as a consultant and does odd jobs every now and then. But beyond that, she's a blank slate with a chilly exterior.

A new recruit who seems to have no interest in climbing the ranks, but claims joining the faction "suits her personal needs". Her motives for joining the group are unknown.

She runs from the crimes she committed and sins of her past. Not because she doesn't wish to face the consequences of her actions.. but because she didn't commit the crime to begin with. A Heiress framed for a family tragedy, and she has no proof to show her innocence. By hiding, she believes it'll give her more time to scrounge up evidence to prove her innocence.
Despite how cruel she can be at times, her mannerisms are not a reflection of who she actually is. Her paranoia believes that if she is not cruel, she'll draw too much attention both inside Team Rocket and outside. The last thing she wants to do is stick out like a sore thumb.
Akira claims to have lost her eye during an intense fight with a wild pokemon. However, she actually wears her eyepatch to cover her heterochromatic eye. The less descriptions to relate her to her past, the better.
