While the other guy establishes control with his Pokemons by the use of harness, Sergei fosters a natural relationship that does not need one. "I am! My name's Sergei Dachev."

SERGEI WOULD BE LYING IF HE SAYS THE HEAT DID NOT CATCH UP TO HIM, because it did. Seeing Jackie retrieve the Aerdaoctyl back into its ball, and the red flag being raised, he sweatingly smiled as he lifted his fist into the air.

This battle is a win!

Being led into the office after, Sergei begins to admire the collection and dedication to the legendary Pokemon, Raikou. He has only heard it in legends and books, but he doesn't know there are people who call themselves a fan of it not until now. When Jackie regards her battle with him, the redhead offers her a handshake.

"I've been really training a lot, if I must say." His lips curl a wide smile. "I promised a friend I would battle him once more. Now he's a Gym Leader and now I have my first badge!"

Getting the badge from Jackie, Sergei lifts it to the light to see clearly the intricate details of the token he earns after battle. A surge of electricty runs through his body upon seeing it glimmer and reflect light to his face. This is the official start of his journey: seven more badges to go!

IT IS COMMUNITY SERVICE FOR SERGEI to be doing this, he tells himself. A Drampa is seen floating above the berry orchard of his neighbor, trying to get some of the bearings they tended to for quite some time now.

It is just a coincidence for him that it is a dragon, he further convinces. With a click of the Pokeball in his pocket, Sergei attempts to hurl the ball into the dragon, hoping it will succeed.

A TINGE OF ANNOYANCE IS PAINTED ON SERGEI'S FACE, his hands tapping out Saki Shitachi's feet from the corpse that she has been kicking for quite some time now. "You know they were once humans, right?"

He momentarily stops, thinking of the possibility that he might be wrong too. After all, seeing them and experiencing what he had experienced the last time, they are definitely more or less than a human.

What Remiel Calcifet says concerns Sergei, however. The memories of Necrozma is still buried at the back of his head: the strange twenty years slowly slipping out of his mind like just a passing moment and yet the experience with the creature which the redhead has never seen before lingers. "Does it mean the Necrozma is actually real? Are there more of it?"

When his party mentions of the strange noise surrounding them and Remiel asks his Iron Valiant to hide their trail, it is only when Sergei realizes that there is indeed a slithering sound. Saki Shitachi suggests a snake, but the ball with colorful magenta and cyan polka dot lights that begin rolling along with them says other wise. As the colors begin to flash aggressively, the redhead gets the sense that it is something dangerous.

SERGEI CANNOT EVEN TELL ANYMORE IF IT'S DAY OR NIGHT, the familiar sight of the magenta light has erupted from the earth and everything is engulfed in sinister ambience.

Jack Napier has reminded him that this day would eventually come. Compared to the redhead, it is him that holds the information of the myth close to his heart. After all, it is his job to keep the lore intact among the people.

But today, at this moment, Sergei is far from his beloved. When the Skeleton emerges with the light, drawing with it the Black Knight they have encountered from before, he knows there is no time now to dillydally over trivial stuff. Despite him wondering where his boyfriend is now, he is pulled by his troops upon orders of the general.

Their first priority: the safety of their people.

Sergei rushes first towards the Academy. He does not find Colton Boothroyd , but his apprentices are all tucked in their own corners hoping to be rescued. "Evacuate the premises immediately. Those who are on the Night Watch or the King's army, follow me."

He then passed by his home, but Jack Napier is also nowhere to be found. Perhaps, all his beloved may have already been on the frontlines. He smiles because he knows Jack Napier is strong himself. There is nothing to do now but to join the battlefield.

Looking from the battlement of Hammerlocke, the walking army of poison is nerve-wracking. How Pokemons can be formed from sludge is a great mystery for Sergei, something that he needs to study should the war be over. At this point, Sergei knows the war cannot be survived if there is no hope.

And so he will be the beacon of hope.

Watching the first of the people to engage in the battle, Sergei follows suit. He is riding his Roaring Moon when the glimmer from Eternatus rains over Enigma, urging its transformation into the gigantic dragon that it is now. The dragon roars, MAX WYRMWIND gathering the gale around one of the poison army general Slowking and the mob of sludge around it. A vortex of purple energy forms, overpowering the enemies with the dragon's might.

The redhead stands from the back of his dynamaxed Enigma, concentrating his power over his broadsword. The move CLANGOROUS SOUL for Sergei is a ritual: after cutting himself with the edge of his blade, only then from feeding it with blood does he feel the surge of power in his body. He tears a piece of cloth from his body and wraps it in his wounded hand, before lifting his sword, bringing it into his back, and jumping towards the Inteleon to deliver a deathly blow on his own.
