A warm summer morning was the perfect time to harvest the berries in the garden. The sun wasn't fully present in the sky and didn't bare down its rays yet, so it was easy to make quick work to retrieve the berries and replant.[break][break]

Jasmine hummed to herself as she worked, plucking the berries gently from their bushes and trees and putting them into her basket. It was nice and quiet. Something she didn't do often. Camellia and Hellebore sat nearby, enjoying the peace of the morning and standing guard.[break][break]

"Would you two like a treat?" They approached her and took a berry each, excitedly wagging their tails before romping off.[break][break]

Jazz laughed, getting to work on the weeds that would always PLAGUE the dirt.[break][break]

"Okay, you two. Let's get going."

"No inappropriate touching, Maggie. We're out on a public beach. You can't decide to just whip it out whenever you want to," Jasmine scolded him, throwing him a look of disapproval from over her sunglasses.[break][break]

"Maybe later, if you're good. You're on my shit list right now for not bringing more stuff with you..."[break][break]

Though, Jasmine stopped her potential rant as he moved over her and began to massage the tanning lotion into her skin. Magnus's hands were rough and calloused, but they felt wonderful digging down into her muscles. They were a bit tense after a night of dancing.[break][break]

She hummed, rolling her shoulders back as she allowed him to continue.

Suddenly, Jasmine was no longer on her seat. Rather, she was now sitting on Magnus's lap, facing him straight on. Well, up a bit, since she was still several inches shorter even in this position. The water rose to her chest, almost reaching the top.[break][break]

"I'm sure you will. You know there's more than those reasons I chose the honeymoon suite..." she said with a devious grin.[break][break]

She lets him talk about Orthrus, about eventually retiring. It would be a strange day when he decided to step down. But, Jazz would support him regardless. He pulled her into the gang, and the only one to pull her out would be Magnus.[break][break]

As sweet as his small speech was, his normal bravado returned in no time. Jasmine sighed, shaking her head at him. A smirk was painted on her lips. "You're such a devil."[break][break]

But she had to admit, the hot springs after a work out like that was very relaxing. Jasmine spread her arms out against the edge, leaning back after catching her breath.[break][break]

"Why don't we have one of these back home?"

Jasmine settled the daquiri down where it wouldn't spill, settling herself comfortably on the towel. There, she laid for several moments.[break][break]

Until she heard Magnus moving in the background.[break][break]

The beast was awoken. She knew exactly how to get him excited. She couldn't help the smirk that crawled over her lips as she hummed to herself, as though she was trying to decide if she actually wanted his help or not.[break][break]

"I guess. It'll be more convenient for you to do it than me to not reach all the spots. Make sure it's even, though," Jazz demanded, throwing him a look before resting her head back down.

Only after a moment's breath that she was in, Jasmine felt his arm snaking around her, pulling her closer. She knew he couldn't resist. It was only a matter of how long was he going to not put his hands on her.[break][break]

If anyone took any bets, immediate would have won.[break][break]

Jasmine raised her hand to rest over his chest, smirking as he held himself back. "What was that?" she teased him, tilting her head slightly to the side.[break][break]

"Yes. I feel like all my worries and aches are slowly melting away. I could absolutely get used to this pampering."[break][break]

Jazz could see his gaze wandering over her body, unabashedly. Her other hand reached lower in the water, resting on his thigh.[break][break]

"Are you ever going to retire, though? Orthrus is your child, right? Could you hand it over to someone one day?"

Magnus could probably only see her brows move and perhaps the outline of her brows as she rolled her eyes at him. "Did you hear a single thing I just said?"[break][break]

Whatever. If he was too busy ogling her, she was just going to ignore his question about his "accommodations." Pretty pathetic, if you had to ask her.[break][break]

Though, she would gladly take the daquiri. She knelt in the sand, digging through the cooler until she pulled out the beverage.[break][break]

"I'm taking the towel, I guess," Jazz said pointedly, dusting her legs off and settling on the towel. Laying on her chest, she reached behind herself to undo the back of her top, keeping herself covered on the front so she'd get an even coloring on her back.[break][break]

She took a sip of two of her daquiri before asking Hellebore to create a small BLIZZARD over her drink to keep it from melting.

It's certainly not that she didn't want his hands all over her. But the hot springs was calling her name. And, he could get a better treat when they were in the water. So Jasmine was more than okay with shoving him away and heading into the shower.[break][break]

As she predicted, Magnus was already in the water. The injury he had sustained was bandaged now, and his yukata was laying abandoned on the ground. Typical Magnus fashion.[break][break]

"You'll wrinkle your yukata," Jazz commented, picking it up and folding it. She set it down neatly before she turned back to face him.[break][break]

She undid the tie to her kimono, opening it and exposing herself. It wasn't anything he hadn't seen before, but it always felt exhilarating each time. Before she got in, she did the same to hers.[break][break]

Dipping her toe in, Jasmine took her time slipping into the water, hissing at the heat until she settled. Then she sighed, having to take a seat that was higher than Magnus due to their significant height difference.[break][break]

Jasmine felt Magnus's arm tug her behind him. And while she didn't want him to die, she was happily content hiding behind his broad figure. She clutched the back of his shirt, slowly peaking around him at the person on the ground.[break][break]

She gave him a pointed glare, stepping from behind him as it was deemed safe. This guy wasn't a zombie. Maybe she overreacted.[break][break]

But hell, he looked pretty dead when they showed up.[break][break]

Jasmine smirked at him, shrugging her shoulders as he drew near. "We might as well treat ourselves, right? After all that hard work, you getting hit in the face by a tree branch, and thinking the zombie apocalypse was beginning... besides, it's literally coming with food and drink. A nice, spacious room, with a view to match. Their own private hot spring, open to that gorgeous view. She thought that the money would be worth it. Hell, he could take it from her pay check to split the cost, if he really wanted to.[break][break]

Her teeth bit into her lower lip as he became more handsy, grabbing her ass. "As much as I'd love to start the festivities of our mission with you right now, I'd like to get this dirt and grime off me first. Go use your shower, and I'll wash up in mine."[break][break]

Jazz pressed her hands against his chest, pushing him back. "Chop chop, now. The hot springs are waiting."[break][break]

He'd definitely be finished faster than her, and she expected as much as she turned off her shower water. She tossed the towel and put on the kimono-style silken robe that was provided, stepping outside to the hot spring.

Jazz expected him to put her down, since it appeared they were close to the body. But he still carried her. His face was red, and she didn't know if it was from the exercise or something else...[break][break]

Though as they reached the area the Pokemon had scented to, she climbed down from his arms, seeing splattering blood everywhere. It looked like a scene from a horror movie. And in the middle of it was the body. It bore a striking resemblance of the person they were supposed to find.[break][break]

"I guess... we were too late..." she said, gulping.[break][break]

Slowly approaching, Jasmine leaned down, trying to avoid the blood the best she could. "Do you think we should —"[break][break]

As she spoke, the person moved. She screeched, birds flying into the air as they were startled. She scurried back. "Oh my god, it's the living dead!"

With their previous mission completed — and thank Arceus, because that shit was scary as fuck — Jack Magnus had suggested going to Lavaridge to relax. Of course, neither of them had prepared for such an occasion. But, that wasn't going to stop Jasmine from saying no.[break][break]

The hot springs sounded relaxing after a day's work. Climbing the mountain had been a lot of work, even if Magnus had insisted on carrying her at least part of the way up. And being scared shitless by the person they were rescuing was enough to make her to want to just soak the day away.[break][break]

So Jasmine led them to the hot spring's inn, leaning against the counter. She put on a smile to the lady at the front desk, waving her hand.[break][break]

"Hi! My partner and I would like the honeymoon suite. We've been backpacking around Hoenn. Heard this place was one of the must sees!"[break][break]

They received an almost skeptical look but were given a key to their room and instructions about the baths nevertheless. Beckoning Magnus to follow her, Jasmine took off to the room, sighing once the door was closed.[break][break]

"Shit! I'm so ready for a good soak!"
