Website coding and starting to work on a Rap Album / Bisexual / Sagittarius / looking for friends only.[break][break]

I don't normally do stuff like this but my therapist recommended it since I don't get out much. So as you can tell from that I am extremely introverted and honestly y'all gonna have to make the first move. Cause if I do, just know I'm currently sitting with my phone gripped between my sweaty hands. [break][break]

Currently mostly do web designing for work. When I'm not doing that I'm either out looking for Pokemon who need help or a home, riding my motorcycle, or working on piecing together the scraps of lyrics I have going for a possible Rap album that will go probably nowhere. [break][break]

Gwen is my absol companion, best friend, and kind of my protector, so if she doesn't like you. Neither will I. [break][break]

I have a large home in Fortree where I make individual rooms for each of my pokemon should they prefer to remain out of their customized Pokeballs, I inherited from my Lola, who sadly passed away about 5 months ago. While not blood related she left me her home and her pokemon companion so i've been taking over the place.

"You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have." Is the quote Lola always said to me in a rough time. So if you needed to hear it hope it helped.[break][break]

Icarus rides on his bike somewhat slower than he really wanted to. Glancing at the speedometer he was only going 30 mph (48 kph). He looked behind him to see Gwen, his Absol perched safely on the back side of the Motorcycle, a Black vest, firmly attached to clips installed in the back, wrapped around her chest. Gwen hated her Pokeball, and so did Icarus. Every time he put her back a great sense of guilt went through his body. Even though he had it custom designed to be a comfortable fit for her, he hated the idea of Gwen trapped in there while he was out free in the world. Its also why he was grateful his luck finally took a turn for the good and he had the deed of a large home in his hands, especially one where he could make additions as new pokemon joined his Family. [break][break]

Looking forward again he saw that he was nearing his home. It was well set back from the rest of Fortree as he really didn't like being in busy bustling places. He enjoyed the soft quiet of the wind, the songs of nature, and the natural calm that came from being out here. Plus it helped his Pokemon feel more like they were at home. [break][break]

As he got closer he could see a young looking woman standing outside his home, A gorgeous looking cabin that had trees on all sides, growing up and over the walls, their branches twisting around the walls, and being gently manipulated by strings around the windows and doorways. The previous owner of the place had outlived most of her family and wanted a young soul to take care of the place before he left. Conveniently Icarus had run into the listing online and introduced himself. The two had gotten along well and when she had passed, she had left the place to him in the Will. As long as Betram, her beloved Rookidee that she had saved after he'd fallen out of his nest as a hatchling. [break][break]

Riding up to the woman he stopped his bike, putting his feet down to stabilize it as he turn it off. Not bothering to take off the sunglasses on his face he looks at the woman. [break][break]

"Can I help you ma'am?" He said, not meaning to but he sounded slightly annoyed. There was something recognizable about her but he couldn't really place his thumb on it.

Let’s get along [DW/C]

Icarus Yawned. He had been out hiking all morning and still no luck on pokemon. He'd been wanting to add a water pokemon to his family for awhile, figuring they would make a great friend to most of his other pokemon. Not to mention going on adventures with them would be a lot of fun since they would be able to explore many new places with him and everyone else. [Break][Break]
There was a quiet and calm beauty to the trail Meteor Falls that made him almost want to lay down and take a nap but he knew if he did that a pokemon might sneak up on him and cause some unwanted mischief. Gwen, his absol trotted along side him, her nose to the ground sniffing for any hints of a pokemon nearby. [Break][Break]
He trudged along for about 30 minutes, approaching Meteor falls with only about 10 minutes left to be there, before a loud swooshing noise overhead caught his attention.[Break][Break]
A man, riding ontop of a Corviknight could be seen swooping down to the Falls. Very modestly dressed his pink short hair flying back in the wind.[Break][Break]
Curious Icarus rushes forward to where the man landed and peered at him. He had his back turned and so Icarus really didn't want to startle him as he summoned his Corviknight back into its pokeball.[Break][Break]
Fratically thinking of smth to say Icarus twiddled his thumbs, his anxiety peaking until he felt a bump at his leg. He looked down to see Gwen looking up at him with her soft red eyes. He got the message; she was there for him. He could do this.[Break][Break]
Clearing his throat Icarus said outloud, "H-hello!" He stutters out, trying to speak loudly. He didn't often try to interact with people. But his therapist set a goal for him to meet 4 new people and try to become friends with them, so he really wanted to try. "I promise I mean no harm!"

A visit in the Dark

Icarus grumbled to himself. His hands placed in his black coat pockets as he jumped from one corner to the other in the outskirts of Slateport. He hated being in the city. Especially here. The only reason he was here is cause he had to be. An old acquaintance had invited him back to the city for some good old reconnecting. When he brought it up with his therapist that he really did not want to go due to the fact that the location was positioned in one of the most dangerous parts of Slateport, and that he hated the cities, she had told him to go. After all he had Gwen, his absol, to protect him should anything bad happen. [break][break]

Icarus looked behind him and saw Gwen just casually trotting down the middle of the road. "Gwen! Get out of there! Stick to the shadows, its the only way you don't get ambushed around here." Gwen did a very obvious roll of her eyes then slowly walked over to Icarus. [break][break]

Icarus just rolled his eyes back at her. Watching as her white reflective fur made her easily spottable in the dark. "Gods we are gonna get killed doing this." he silently thought to himself. [break][break]

Walking to the end of the shadow he was in, he prepped himself to make a quick sprint to the next largest shadow about 10 feet away from them. It was getting darker by the minute as the sun was setting and he just hoped to make it to his "acquaintances" house before complete dark enveloped them. Thats when all the nasty people came out to stalk their prey. [break][break]

Taking a deep breath he jumps forward towards the shadow. But halfway there the wind is knocked out of him as something hits him. Losing his balance, he falls to the ground.[break][break]

"What the hell?!"[break][break]

Icarus walks along the lengthy boardwalk road of Fortree. Gwen, his most endearing and loyal Absol friend, Trotted happily alongside him with a large slab of steak between her jaws. Icarus smiles warmly as she trots in front of him and does a little circle as they approach their spacious home. All the sudden a black streak crosses his vision as Rover, his poochyena, sprints and yanks on the steak in Gwens mouth.[break]
"Rover! Slow down! You aren't the Flash!" Icarus laughs as the two start playing tug-a-war with the steak in their mouths. Soon Gwen got the upper hand by dragging Rover to the edge of the platform and whipping her head around so he flew off the edge, the only thing keeping him from falling was his jaw on the steak. She did this a few times before fear was instilled in Rovers mind and he let go before she could yank him off the edge again.[break]
"Alright you two. Get inside." Icarus laughs at the exchange then ushers his pokemon back inside, Rovers tail tucked under his bum as Gwen growls at him. [break]

"Alright Icarus. Lets start from the beginning."

"I was too young." Icarus seemed to take a deep breath. His hand gently petting the Sleeping absol on his lap. "Not only age wise but mentally wise. And I've grown up to fast. Dad was always a tempermental man. He liked to drink and do drugs. But I thought that was normal. My best friends dad did too. It wasnt till... Till my mother left when i was 4 that I realized the dangers I was in." Icarus looks down, and pulls Absol closer to him. "Dad did a lot of things to me since then... I was his punching bag.If it weren't for absol here, I'd still be his punching bag." He ruffles Absols fur and a low grumble of content comes from her chest. "Some days I still wonder if I deserved all the scars he gave me. Dispite what all my previous therapists tell me. I cant help but wonder."

Icarus looked up at the therapist. As she spoke. "Will you tell me specifically what he did Icarus? Our notes here say he ---"

Icarus's eyes shadow over. Almost like a mask covering his face as he tenses up. Absol, feeling the difference, becomes wide awake.

"I don't want to talk about it." Icarus states in a low voice almost like the words are struggling to come out of his throat, before she can finish saying anything.

The therapist opens her mouth to ask again but before she says anything Icarus lunges out of his chair, knocking it back. "I SAID I DONT WANT TO TALK ABOUT IT!" The therapist, surprised by his quick outburst stands quickly reaches for him but this surprises him more and he Grabs her hand and quickly twists it, spraining or possibly breaking it. But before he can do anything more Absol has the back of his coat in her mouth and she's pulling him back and away from the therapist.

A few moments pass with Absol holding Icarus back while the therapist holds her hand to her side.

"Deep breaths Icarus. Deep breaths. Just like we practiced." After another few minutes of showing him how Icarus starts to mimic her breaths. As soon as he calms he breaks down. Crying and curling into a ball he repeats "I'm sorry. Im so sorry. Over and over again.

The therapist just nods, picks up a remote and the recording ends.
