Reality had shifted, bringing Starstar and her accomplice to a simulation resembling that of Mauville City, a place she would often go for street performance as a clown before her official indoctrination to Team Rocket. But why here? The workshop that the two had found themselves in was rather generic and unspecific, but any Hoenn resident could feel at home at the shopping complex at the heart of the region. It was kinda weird, but she would advance through the halls, looking back at Calpurnia every few moments. They would lead the two toward Relic Red, that one clothing store.

"Kinda weird, maybe the DRK Triad likes fancy clothes~" She would chum curiously, momentarily perusing the display case as a voice would call out to them from the closest alley. Starstar would immediately notice the dark hues of maybe eccentric makeup under the stranger's eyes, looking back at Calpurnia once she heard the offer. He looked grunge but in a professional way, perhaps if she weren't only fond of women, she'd find him quite cute- maybe in another life. She'd wonder what her fellow rocket member perceived him to be, simulation or not.

Eyes on the flipping coin, Starstar would clasp her hands together and tilt her head in curiosity. "Gimme tails," A confident burst of request, it felt like slow motion as he'd flipped it upwards. The clown wished nothing more than to outsmart the simulation, even if it was not possible; a box full of tails would be much more pleasurable than a box full of heads if the RKS System were to give them a darker turn of events, after all.

Spiky black nails against the planchette, Starstar would smile as it would begin to move toward the first letter; but quicker than ever, it would fly towards 'GOODBYE" and conclude the conversation, the lantern remaining completely still and within normalcy. With a sigh of frustration exiting her lips, she would look up toward the Gothitelle which had already begun packing up the board. As for the psychic type, she had spotted another pokemon walking this away outside of the shrubbery walls, one she was sure her trainer would enjoy the company of.

Peering out of the bushes would appear a wild Sableye, its gemstones for eyes gleaming in the reflection of the lantern's red beams. Starstar would hear the rustling of its body in the leaves and turn to spot it- it looked rather small in comparison to one of her bestie's, meaning that it could be eager for food. Though it would appear shy, it would appear curious. The array of gemstones was just what it wanted, laying out on the blanket that the ouija board once sat upon. Gothitelle would begin cleaning it up, but Starstar would walk over and pick up a few pieces of rose quartz and selenite that were still on the fabric. It was a little gag joke with her friends that their Sableye would eat the crystals on the dinner table, so a little extra food for the bud wouldn't hurt.

"Are you hungry, little rockstar?" she would call out to the purple pokemon, cautiously nearing it with the crystals in her palms. Setting them on the ground in front of her, Starstar would smile and back up a bit afterward as a peace offering, readying the pokeball that had been stored in her dress pocket.

It would approach cautiously as well, reaching out for the crystals and beginning to munch down, breaking the pieces into shards with its teeth. How hardcore- as it would eat to its heart's content, Starstar would remove the pokeball and throw it towards the Sableye, binging it against its head in an attempted capture.

If the ghost type accepted her befriending, there would be plenty more crystals to chew on back home at the apartment. Maybe the goodbye on the ouija board was the link to the hello that came afterward; that Sableye was so tiny and cute, and Starstar was sure that he would fit in perfectly with her other companions. All that could go against that future would be a potential breakout of the pokeball, but only time and ticking could tell.

Heeding the request of Calpurnia, the goth would hold the last little bit of the construction project within her gloved grasp. It seemed her companion in the simulation was the curious type, and she couldn't complain; whatever was on this phone had to be important in some way or fashion. Starstar would hold to her life's content, trying not to screw with anything due to her little temporary fixation.

After a little bit, it was fixed and all seemed to be chill- but a somewhat static-imbued voice would flow outwards with a message. Backing up and looking around for anything that could be used as a weapon around the dilapidated workshop, Starstar would seem rather faintly uneased than full-out panicking due to the ominous nature. There was more of a curiosity there, because just maybe just maybe this alleged Maldacenia Nut could be watching in on the pair- kinda creepy.

"I wonder what other messages Maldacena will have for us here, we should keep it with us or something," She'd walk over to the freshly fixed Pokegear and pick it up, "..we can't just waste what you spent so long fixing. I'll put it in my pocket, but if you'd rather hold onto it be my guest. And thanks for fixing it."

Starstar pockets the pokegear and leans on the table, awaiting what would come next in the bounds of the simulation.

"Who do I have the pleasure of speaking with?" She'd smile, her fingers still on the planchette. It would begin to move slightly, slowly spelling a word with each of its movements across the board. Curiosity creeping into both the Gothitelle and its trainer's minds, they would smile as it would continue to finish its word.

'B - O - I - N - G.'

Raising an eyebrow, Starstar would look up toward the psychic type in curiosity, the red lantern ceasing its flicker. But with a tiny final pulsation, a wild Spoink would sling itself to jump over the board with full force; its sheer unpredictable actions caused the clown to scream and fly backwards in fear like she just saw a conjured spirit. Gothitelle would look forward at her trainer with her hands continuing to rest on the planchette, curious if she were just too scared to continue. But she wasn't in the slightest; laughing at the dumb interruption when she saw it bouncing away into the distance, she would sit within her ruffles and place her fingers on the board.

Taking a deep breath, she would meet the eyes of her pokemon and wonder. "That was a funny joke, but can I please learn your name? Who do I have the pleasure of speaking with tonight?" Starstar would ask much more assertively than the first time, the planchette would begin moving once more.

She had no clue that Gothitelle was completely trolling her with a controlled movement of the planchette, and the fact that she spotted the wild Spoink over the trees due to her colossal height just before it bounced through.

Little squeaks manifested with each step in her boots, heading into the workshop with Calpurnia Kubrick. It was an absolute trainwreck, but she would quickly run up to the pokegear that sat on the table. What, it was pink and all the other colors in the room were drab.

"Look, the pokegear has a weird symbol on it, kinda like when two donuts overlap each other in the box and make like.. an eight. But geometric," the gothic star would lean on the workbench, looking intently at the symbol. Usually, there would be another one here, a silph symbol- but it didn't, and was certainly fried. Maybe it would be fixable, but Starstar was getting the most rancid and weird vibes from this entire setup and its surroundings.

Just what was this weird place supposed to represent, a busy woodshop man with a habit of missing his calls? "Whaddya think we should do about this pokegear? I'm leaning towards dousing it with gasoline and a cherry match on top, but it's your call Calpurnia." She'd look around the room and spot some bats and some gasoline, but there looked to also be some spare pokegear parts in a box just over there. Star was morbidly curious as to what the pokegear could have on it, but arson was arson.
