It took Cade some time to recover, a period during which he learned to take time for himself and find confidence once more. He couldn’t claim to be the best trainer, nor could he say that all his dragons still obeyed him, but he was getting better. It was hard to believe he was still alive and kicking after all the drama with his arm and being poisoned twice. He knew he wouldn’t be here without Elise by his side.

As the knight walked next to his lady, he nodded stoically and said, “Of course, and if it’s not me, then it’s Cinder. She’s been more than a pain in the tail lately.”

The Charizard heard him but chose to ignore her trainer altogether. Cade wondered if the loss of their Hydreigon friend still weighed heavily on her mind; only time would tell. He didn’t dwell on that thought for long, instead considering the recent reports of Doppelganger cases in the area. How strange. “I would hope I need more dragons to go wild,” he added quietly, knowing that if Elise didn’t have things under control, the situation could turn bloody.

Cade was no longer the carefree person he once was; that part of him had died the moment his Pokémon perished. Despite his stoicism, he felt a deep caring for those around him, and he silently resolved to protect what remained of his team.

         Poisoned. The venom coursed through Cadeyrn’s veins, not with the same crushing force as the toxic chains he’d faced before, but enough to leave him weakened and hollow. He look see the three mystical pokemon. So, these were the loyal three? The ones responsible for Petalburg’s fall to Team Rocket, who had twisted and ruined countless lives. Someday, they would face the reckoning they deserved, but not today. Damn it all.

         Carnelia roared in pain but soon fell silent, sharing in her trainer's suffering. The redhead struggled to maintain his composure, his strength slipping away. He managed to return his dragon to her Poké Ball with a strained breath. “Okay…” he whispered, trying to follow Elise’s instructions. Without the Aromatherapy, he knew he would be in far worse shape. His arm was wounded, the poison spreading, and the recent attack by Team Rocket had resulted in one of the worst defeats he had ever endured.

        “Thank you, Miss Andrea,” he said softly, his gratitude palpable despite his weakened state. He didn’t know her well, nor did he fully understand her significance, but right now, her presence was crucial. Perhaps they could discuss the events later, once this turmoil had passed.          Cadeyrn raised an eyebrow at Munkidori. The Pokémon was gravely wounded, no doubt about that, but there was something off. No ordinary Pokémon could take a Tyrantrum's Head Smash and move like that. Munkidori was up to something. The poison coursing through his veins was nothing compared to what Elise had endured, but it still seemed to sense something sinister in the air. Suddenly, Cadeyrn began to cough as the sandstorm thickened, its grit laced with a toxic edge.

         “C-careful, try not to breathe it in,” he warned, his voice strained. His Tyrantrum nodded in agreement, gesturing for both her trainer and her "mother" to climb onto her back. They couldn't let Munkidori escape; if they did, it would only be a matter of time before these beast would struck again.

         “Come on, we can't let them get away. See if you can keep the poison at bay,” Cadeyrn urged, extending a hand to help her onto the dragon Pokémon. Together, they rode off in pursuit.
