Cadeyrn knew it was time to sound the alarm. Cinder let out a warning cry to learn the guards maybe not the best notice the fire beast does she was think is best. He was not one to take any chances, despite the fear looming in the back of his mind. The moment had arrived—Team Rocket was finally showing up. The tension that had been building for days was now a crushing weight on his chest, threatening to suffocate him. His thoughts raced, each heartbeat pounding louder than the last.[break][break]

He glanced at Elise, her serene presence a stark contrast to the chaos around them. How he longed to tell her how he felt, to let her know that his every action was driven by his love for her. But there was no time for words now, only action.

"Cinder, wait!" Cadeyrn shouted as his Charizard snarled, ready to incinerate their foes. But she could not be swayed. With a fierce roar, Cinder leaped into the fray, her eyes blazing with determination. Her roar rallied the other dragons, a fierce chorus of defiance against the encroaching darkness.

Cadeyrn's heart ached with every beat. Despite the fear gnawing at his resolve, he knew he could not falter. This was not just a battle; it was a stand for everything he held dear. He would not allow Team Rocket to tear apart the fragile peace they had fought so hard to maintain. He would protect Elise, no matter the cost.

As the fight began, it was Madrona, his fierce Hydreigon, who made the first move. With a guttural roar, she launched a devastating Dragon Rush on one of the masked Team Rocket members. Cadeyrn's pulse quickened as he watched the chaos unfold. Despite everything, his Pokémon were brave and unyielding, embodying the courage he struggled to find within himself. He couldn't let them down. He wouldn't let Elise down.

His thoughts flashed to the future—a future where he could hold Elise without fear, where they could live in peace. No more running, no more hiding. He would fight for that future, even if it meant facing his deepest fears.

Cadeyrn remained poised, the weight of the ongoing war pressing heavily on his shoulders. The tension was palpable, each passing second filled with the dread of when Team Rocket would strike. This was war, not some children's story. Team Rocket would stop at nothing to win, even if it meant taking countless innocent lives to claim Petalburg and dominate the region. He sighed, his gaze drifting to the wounded and weary around him. Yet, amidst the pain and uncertainty, there was a strange sense of calm in the presence of Princess Elise.

But why did he feel so uneasy? It was as if a weight was pressing against his chest, a burden he couldn't shake. He had only exchanged a few words with her in passing, urging her to be cautious as Team Rocket could strike at any moment. No words of encouragement or hope had left his mouth. Instead, he had retreated to his position, silently vowing to guard her with his life.

NOTES/COMMENTS: ~~I am finally back.~~ Cadeyrn's story is one of a noble knight and his beloved princess. Always willing to be a shoulder to lean on for his lady and putting on a strong front for everyone around him. Yet, the events of Elise's capture and the toxic chains have tested his seemingly unbreakable will. Although it's been a year since then and he has gotten better at dealing with it, the doubt has never left his mind and causing him to distance himself from the one he has sworn to protect and loves dearly. I plan on using the upcoming battle not only to reignite the fire within him but also to help him find himself once more, to reclaim the strength and courage.

The Cyclizar seemed a lot more aggressive then before however Cinder didn't seemed to the mind. In fact she was "racing" a few of them. Wings vs wheel in a epic showdown of who is superior. they both were stubborn and refused to never give up.

It remind of that game called Mario Kart with how competitive they were being. Cade chuckled keep his distance. They had plenty of time to kill hopefully within a few hours they would roll off but dragons will be dragons. There was no real telling what they would do.

Cinder snorted unleashed a puff of smoke from her nostrils. Since the events of blood and iron she been eager to have a change to stretch her wings and the tournament was the perfect to do it.

Since coming to Hoenn he didn't have a lot of friends or people he trusted but he was glad that Thomas is on. He let the dreepy hold onto the gifts for the moments. He would offer later on. "Glad to be here."

The Princess of Galar in all her radiance no matter how much he still beaten himself over the past would always care about her.

it took time for the knight to finally get the change to get his head out of his ass. He was far from being okay however if he didn't show up then that would more trouble than his worth. He placed around the room for more than thirty minutes. Thomas Benoit was a saint to be honesty their talk and settle old of his issue like men. Maybe feels least a little better there was a lot he was going to have to admit to Elise why had been so distance these few week.

Cinder was glared all the while he was acting like a child. "Cinder, don't give me that look not right now. I trying to think here." The fire type gestured to the clock snickering. Oh dawn! He was late! "Ugh!" It was now or never! If he didn't leave now then he was never going too. "You know I hate you sometimes."

Cinder rolled her eyes lied near the fireplace as the marched into the bathroom. He made prepared for the event. He had to dress to impress. "How do like look?"

A distortion in the Safari Zone? He thought he would never seen the likes of this. It seem old as if something was causing this purposefully. The knight didn't really think of looking towards Yuina Higashi? So something was calling out to her?

Cade kept his thoughts to himself while Cinder, his goomy, and ursaring began fighting back the endless waves of pokemon. It had take it's took on them however what he didn't expected was for there to be some serious changes. The flux between time and place transform two pokemon into completely different forms. As went time goes on Cadeyrn withdrew more away from Elise. He couldn't let this happen to himself. The negative emotions that came from the terror of the swamp and Elise's kidnapping that played a lot on his mind. The nightmares, the what ifs, hell the fact Elise has gotten captured by Team Rocket and he could do nothing to help in it.

He need a moment of clarity to rid of feeling so empty and hollow. Useless would a better and more harsh word on how he felt. Elise was going to be gone all day and he wasn't needed there at the moment due the other guards being there.
