Leilani is the serious and flirtatious member of the "Dirty Pair", keeping a collected and calculating head at all times, even during the most stressful at times. [break][break]

She grew up in Konikoni City, living closer to the water's edge. Her family were quite traditional and she shared their love of the environment and nature. [break][break]

One day while walking on the beach, the young girl came across an unconscious girl, washed up by the waves. Leilani rushed her back to her parents who tried to help the girl recover. But to their surprise, she couldn't remember a thing about herself. After several attempts to locate her parents or family, the family made the decision to care for the girl and grant her the name "Mahina". [break][break]

The two became as close as they both shared their acts of mischief across Alola. From a string of petty thefts and shoplifting to other such crimes. Leilani and Mahina were known as the troublemakers of their generation and the reputation followed them well into young adulthood. [break][break]

They left Alola recently to explore the world around them. A heist gone awry have landed them in the middle of joining Team Rocket as opposed to being executed. She frequently worries about Mahina given her penchant for not following orders, though won't turn up an excuse to pilfer some equipment and enjoy the benefits. [break][break]
