Schuyler Finneas Tate (Feburary 18th, 1989) is a Unovan author known for writing fictional horror. Known professionally as Finn Charbonneau, he made his writing debut in 2011 with the book
Come Find Me. Prior to his writing career, Tate was a legacy concert pianist, succeeding his father, Philip Tate.
[attr="class","wiki-title"]Appearance
Although mostly an average build, Schuyler's more prominent features are a slight overbite and a light dust of freckles against his cheeks. Despite his height, his body remains lithe. He holds a fair yet pale complexion with a light peach tint.
[attr="class","wiki-title"]Personality
"But there is no real me: only an entity, something illusory. And though I can hide my cold gaze, and you can shake my hand and feel flesh gripping yours, and maybe you can even sense that our lifestyles are probably comparable, I simply am not there."[break][break]
Described by colleagues as a "chameleon," Schuyler seems to be able to mold himself into just about any social setting. Able to cycle through masks, he can play the dashing extrovert or bookworm introvert. It all depends on what the situation calls for. When alone, his personality shifts into what can be considered an empty slate. His movements are almost automatic, like his body fulfills the task, but his heart isn't in it.
[break][break]
Though when exposed to others, he does his best to remain polite. Mannerisms are something instilled into him, but if asked of his true intentions, he will have a habit of oversharing. Sometimes he talks simply to fill the silence, a habit that others may or may not feel comfort in. But despite his mannerisms and little habits, he seems to approach the world as though outside of his own body.
[attr="class","wiki-title"]Biography
Schuyler was born and raised in Virbank City, Unova to Philip Tate and Vanessa Tate (née Langford.) His formative years were spent in private schools such as Rosemont Academy in Castelia City and the Western Grove Conservatory in Aspertia City, the second of which his parents were generous benefactors of, as the patriarch was an alumni himself.
[break][break]
While emotional neglect was paramount in his childhood, no other form of abuse was
reported, but when those suspected shake hands with varied officers alike, charges can easily be expunged.
[break][break]
After his father's passing in 2007 from cardiac arrest, Tate seemed to lose his interest in music. While he still took to his studies, he officially dropped out of Western Grove Conservatory in 2009 when his mother was diagnosed with Lewy Body Dementia. With Schuyler as her primary caregiver, she lived for roughly two years following her diagnosis. While not under hospice care at the time, the coroners surmise that dysphagia was the cause of her death. While Schuyler was questioned, he insists he attempted to resuscitate his mother on several occasions in those moments.
[break][break]
Following the death of his mother, Schuyler released his first novel that seemed to have mostly positive reviews. Readers stated that his prose was a bit off, but decent enough for a first novel. Throughout the years since then, Tate has released roughly sevel full-length novels and several short stories. In fall of 2023, Schuyler left his home in Virbank to move to Hoenn for what he deems to be an instance of wanderlust getting the better of him.

[attr="class","wiki-title"]Relationships
Though despite his sociable veneer, Schuyler doesn't consider himself too terribly close with many people. Because of that, his inner circle seems to be very tight knit. If you feel that you might be close to him, you could very well be wrong.

The figure Schuyler sees as his direct supervisor. What he says goes. He was the one who recruited Schuyler into Team Rocket, so he holds a particular admiration for the man.
