if there are more as sylvie faust suggests, then it would make sense for them to be quiet, which he makes a gesture to imply as much.[break][break]

he snorts at the joke but it's halfhearted at best, his attention stretched too thin as he has to swap back to make sure cacturne is supported. he does, however, return a quip as he tosses the empty potion bottle into his backpack instead of on the ground.[break][break]

the INFERNO lights up the scene, buying cacturne enough time to recover. it whips up a SANDSTORM, keeping them covered.[break][break]
