This was scut work in the grand scheme of things, but, there was a piece-of-mind that came with such a task; a clear and discernable difference made with each action.

He volunteered just to keep his mind off of.. events, of life. Idle hands left room for thought, and regret; he refused to dwell on such matters. Even, if it he had to do so by force.

Releasing a Pokemon in-front of him, he gives it a smile. The violet coated Pokemon bowed to Greyson before clambering up and along the wall to hang-upside from the ceiling. It's water-type, along with her web, would be invaluable for what this job required.

He just needs to make sure to take his sweet time doing it.

The presence of another beneath the city causes Greyson to tense, violet orbs sizing him up in an immediate threat analysis.

He relaxes, just enough to give the man a greeting with a slow nod.

"I am." The spider cocks her head in the newcomers direction, bulbous face hidden beneath a layer of water, but it was clear its curiosity was in the new arrival.

Having never met the man himself, he starts off with the most obvious greeting he can muster.

"Who are you?"

It takes him a second, then two, to realize that his Resting Bitch Face was probably laid on thick. He cringes, a ghost of a smile turning his frown into something more.. human.

"Good to meet you." His own hand reaches out to embrace Dane's, shaking it firmly even as his mind works overtime to make sure he remembers the name. "Greyson, and—" he flicks a thumb up and behind him "—Dewey."

Not the most creative name, but it fit.

"The goal is to do this with a little violence as possible." His eyes move to the Cacturne, then back to Dane. "That good with you?"

Greyson wasn't exaclty a 1-in-a-million type guy. He could walk down the street and spot a hundred dark-haired, tall, handsome men.

For some reason, Hoenn was especially filled with attractive men and woman. Must be something in the water.

"Cousin?" He raises an eyebrow before dropping it in to a furrowed brow. "We might've met before. Sorry, I probably forgot. I'm bad with faces."

It only allows the stone in his heart to drop further. Gritting his teeth, the muscles of his cheek flexing, he shifts towards the road ahead.

"Annalise said you lived in Johto. You visiting?"

He doesn't give Dane any specific response another than a half-nod disguised under the notion of keeping his attention front-and-center.

"I'm sure she'll be happy to see you."

He wasn't entirely sure that was the truth, but that wasn't his concern. Not any longer.
