The pain. The heartache. The Trauma... it was breaking the youth's mind. He wanted Anubis back. He wanted his pokemon-- his friends and family back. These monsters, they had to pay! They had to pay. His mind and body were in opposite states it risked his own mental health and that would end in tragedy for all of them. However, his cellmate's words gave him some support, some clarity to keep his wits. [break][break] He couldn't act. Not now. So he pulled himself up with his help. He soon 'showered' by the ice cold water that poured over them all as Zachary felt the sting of cold ebb the heat from the broken bruises. He wouldn't of been surprised if something was truly broken. They were all headed out again, and Zachary soon reached the end of the 'day'. [break][break] At Alexi's request, Zachary took the cot for the night. He was in worse state than Alexi so he got the semblance of a bed. All Zachary could do was cry himself softly to sleep, hoping sleep would make his mind clearer, give him perspective to deal with the crap for the next day and if possible... act if he could. [break][break] He soon dreamed of a far off place, a futuristic city. It didn't feel like a simple dream-- Zachary was lucid here, and was not in the same pain. His mind was clear too, even after what he endured! He looks around, wondering what is going on. Was this a dream? Zachary had a dream like this before... one involving a strange blue room, a talkative big-nosed Hypno named Igor, and a beautiful blue Guardivour named Gaia. While the details were vague he remembered-- not all dreams were dreams, but crossroads of dream and reality, mind and matter. [break][break] It was possible he was in such a place now. [break][break] As he looked around-- he found familiar places. His pokemon! Floating in glass cubes filled with liquid, he saw his Pokemon-- all asleep. Dizzy slept, suspended in the liquid as it bubbled. Happy was in one nearby, the little Mime Jr in there like a rubber duck! So was his others. He stopped short, looking at the cases, but didn't try to break them out, unsure what it meant. Fear kept him in place... fear that he might cause the Death of his pokemon again... [break][break] But there was a reason they were here. There must be... as he began to look around, searching for clues if anyone or anything else was here, while he didn't have a chain around his neck... [break][break]

Zachary, along side his Delphox Dizzy, and his Mime Jr Happy, observed the quiet scenes of watery coves and artificial streams, though the pokemon there were a bit sparce. Some fish pokemon like Goldeen and other types swam around, but nothing more outstanding. A quillfish was one of the more unique ones. As things were growing a bit too quiet, someone spoke up to their attention. [break][break] Zachary turned to see the green-haired stranger, and with him two Psyducks of all things. Zachary glanced at him, at the mention of the "Rehabilitation center'. [break][break] "Um, sorry I don't. I'm just here as a guest and visitor. Maybe its somewhere back at the main corridor..." Zachary paused as he caught sight of the two Psyducks with him. His eyes showed interest. [break][break] "Oh wow... those are amazing Psyducks. I had wanted one for a long time. I love how they have psychic power even though they are water types." he said, leaning closer to the ducks. [break][break] The Mime Jr with him soon approached the ducks, seeing their hands grasping their heads in poor headaches. As if to greet the ducks, Happy used his little hands on his own head, mimicking the same gesture as if thinking it was the Psyduck's way of saying hello. [break][break] Zachary shook his head at the silliness of his Mime Jr. "I'm Zachary, by the way. As for the Rehab center, maybe we can find it." he offered. [break][break]

Unwilling to let her trainer drown or worse, she bit tight to his jacket and made sure he was on her as she swam slowly back to the sandbar. From there, Dizzy and the others saw the eruption of electricity and saw as Militic dragged their trainer back. Zachary slowly came out of his daze, as Dizzy rushed into the shallows, taking hold of Zachary and helping him to shore. Cetus stayed in the water and finally rested, curling up as Happy went to her, easing her with comforting cooes and rubs of his hands. The other pokemon looked in concern as they saw the fight continue. [break][break] Zachary grunted as he came to his senses, looking out as well to see what Josh was up to. [break][break] The amazing Mega-Evolution was indeed a smart idea to boost a Pokemon, but not enough to catch the Raichu. It soon saw the Sharpedo go full-on Sharknado on him and his fur went on end. [break][break] Using its psychic power, it raised the waves, causing it to grow choppy, sending ripples and lashes of water everywhich way like a raging storm on the ocean. While it used those choppy waters to get more air-- it would make swimmers more troublesome. Once more, as the attack came-- Raichu swung more into the air, doing several loop-de-loops in the air. From it, it jumped off its tail, creating a sphere of electricity! Electro Ball!! With its high speed, the ball charged fast and fired right for the Mega Sharpedo! [break][break] The moment Raichu touched down, he glowed once again with psychic power. In a flash, there was an eruption of water from staggering speed! The water kicked up as the Raichu became a blur, using Agility for a shocking speed boost. "Raaaaaaaaaiiiii!!!" it cried out as if to say 'see ya sucker' as it blinked into the distance, out of sight. [break][break]... For now.[break][break] Regardless of Josh's great speed and mount abilities, this Raichu was without a doubt a speed demon in a fuzzy semi-cute mouse body. By the time Josh would rejoin Zachary, he would be resting on the beach. Cetus was 'napping' while water sparkled around it, created by AQUA RING. "Cetus is not going to be swimming for a bit. She'll be fine in a while with her healing powers but that Raichu really is a jerk!" Zachary grumbled as he sat there. Happy looked up to his trainer, giving a sympathetic sad look. [break][break] Zachary ran a hand through his hair as he tried to think. "What is with that thing? It just likes picking fights and causing trouble? Even Greed, the Haunter we fought, was better tempered than this!" [break][break] They didn't have to wait long as there was a disturbance in the water nearby. [break][break] As Josh returned, and heard Zachary-- Dizzy soon perked his ears and the other Pokemon looked to the water. Suddenly from the depths, Water Pokemon began to appear, peeking their heads out and approaching the shore. [break][break] They were of all kinds, from a Krabby, Mantee, Seadra, Bruxish and other ocean Pokemon that lived in the waters! They all began to poke out, grumpy looks on their face. [break][break] At first, Zachary thought they were angry at THEM, for being around their waters and beach. Eager to protect their trainer, Zachary's Pokemon got in front of him, especially Happy who could make barriers. [break][break] However, they soon all began to cry out and shout, as if in complaint. It was a mass of confusion, them seeming upset about something-- likely unrelated to them personally. [break][break] Zachary looked at the mob of ocean pokemon, puzzled. "Um... I'm getting the sense they are not happy about something here..." Zachary said sarcastically. [break][break]

Zachary hiding under his jacket was rather silly, and he knew it. Prompting him to come out, Dizzy took his stick and began to poke Zachary till he finally reered his head out. He struggled to take a single, long breath to calm down. It was still a rattled experience between the Beedrill and the violent Pincer. He laid on the grass, trying to calm down. "Maybe this was a bad idea..." he sighed... [break][break] At Shalin's recommendation, she asked to show his Pokemon and bring them out to socialize, and get to know her Pokemon-- and likely for her to meet them too. That did calm Zachary down and he DID bring the bug Pokemon for this occasion, cause if nothing else-- he was doing it for them. He had to get over his phobia to be a better trainer for them and not be afraid for the ones who wanted to be in his company. [break][break] He slowly knelt up and pulled back on his coat. Taking out his Pockeballs from them, he placed them on the ground and soon, they all sprang up one by one. [break][break] The two bug types-- was a Swadloon , a cute bundle wrapped in leaves. Next, was one of Zachary's first caught Pokemon and a rare one. A special "Rabsca", a mysterious beetle-like Pokemon, which supported a mysterious orb above its head, constantly levitating there. It was mysteriously drawn to Zachary, perhaps sensing his good nature, despite his fear of it. [break][break] The others was a bit more diverse but he let them out anyway. Happy, the Mime Jr-- was a very social Pokemon, who got along well with all kinds and often understood others. One was a Hoothoot Zachary found a while back-- an adorable girl he named Nyx. The sweet owl the moment it came out flew around-- and perched herself right on Zachary's shoulder, content and cooed to be close to Zachary. Lastly, of all Pokemon to bring out-- was his Haunter. The Haunter, named Greed, emerged with an excited laugh, happy to be out and willing to cause some trouble if it got the chance. Still, the ghost type enjoyed being included in fun gatherings like this. [break][break] As they all settled in, Swadloon and Rabsca drew closer to the dragonfly-- curious by the other bug type. [break][break] As they all relaxed, other Pokemon began to take interest. One of which, was answered by a loud Hoot of a deeper voice. Nyx on Zachary's shoulder jumped and looked to the trees, spotting another one of its kind! A Noctowl! [break][break] "Whoh! A Noctowl! They are my favorite birds!" Zachary said, his face lighting up a bit to see such a special pokemon. Intellegent and capable of psychic power, just like Nyx was. [break][break] Curious to meet one of its own kind, Nyx flew up from her trainer's shoulders to meet the Noctowl. [break][break] The two exchanged calls, as if conversing, seeming to get along. [break][break] With so many peokemon around, not just bugs... Zachary was beginning to relax, especially with the new friendship of a new Noctowl. [break][break]

Mauville City. Zachary had traveled far and with the care and guidance of Josh Devlin to learn more about Pokemon, and of course-- his dream of being a Pokemon Gym Leader. Who better to learn than from an actual Gym Leader. When he met him, he had no clue and then over their adventure, learned who he was and how capable he was.  [break][break]  Mauville City was indeed far more-- developed than Zachary thought for most cities. There were multiple levels to the city, like three of them topped one upon another. Trying to find his way was a challenge and Zachary got lost a couple of times. Dizzy was tired, dragging his tail around the different levels till they finally found it on the far north end-- on the upper ring and back where they were in open sky. The Mauville Gym, and home to Josh himself. It was quite and impressive building and opened up further beyond the confines of the city having a wide open area of tracks and fields and water to traverse. [break][break]  Figured he'd be at home here since he loved to ride pokemon of all kinds. [break][break]  Zachary and Dizzy approached the building entrance and entered without issue. It was NOT what Zachary expected, as he saw a bunch of kids visiting, and some riding pokemon, even a Drampa of all things. It was a very 'fun' atmosphere, which made Zachary smile and Dizzy look on with an impressed coo. It only motivated Zachary to be a Gym Leader, similar to Josh. [break][break]  As they spotted Josh, Zachary sheepishly waved to him with a smile on his face to catch his attention. "Sorry we're late. Mauville City kind of had me turned around." Zachary greeted Josh as they entered. "Wow... your gym is really impressive. This isn't quite what I expected. It's a lot more fun than I thought." Zachary explained, sharing how impressed he was. [break][break] Josh had recommended Zachary consider a future as a Ranger, which did sound fun too. Still, being a Gym Leader was also a passion of his he wanted to follow. He felt it was a safe place for battles and growing as trainers-- but it wasn't just that. It was a place to learn and to have fun too! It was more than just fighting. [break][break] "I really do hope to be a Gym Leader someday... but I guess I need to really shape up as a trainer first. I still have so much to learn too." Zachary said modestly, prompting Dizzy to give his partner a kind pat on the back, the fox showing his support. [break][break] Now that he was there, he didn't know what he really wanted. Was he there to earn a badge? Was he there to learn what it was like to be a Gym Leader? He had so many questions and thoughts in his head, it was easy for him to get lost in thought as he looked at the impressive ceiling and pokemon all over the place flying around or hanging from the banisters. [break][break] Dizzy, seeing his human partner lost in his daydreams, got out his stick and gently started to poke him, to snap him out of it. [break][break]

While Zachary appreciated Josh's kind offer, he wasn't about to let his pokemon do all the work. All of theirs were miffed by the rude Raichu's antics. With a bark from Milotic Cetus, Zachary knew he could trust her. "Thanks-- but I'll use Cetus for now. Let's get that beach-bum bully!" Zachary said as he took Cetus' queue. Reaching his Milotic, he quickly climbed up her back till he was back in his former spot. Milotic took off swimming with the rest, leaving Dizzy and the others to recover on the sand barge for now.[break][break] Despite the easier speed from before, Milotic was now sparing no restraint as it raced out to the open water to catch Raichu, now speeding away. Through the corner of his eye-- Raichu saw his persuers, actually pleased by the chase. "Raiiii!" it barked, as if egging them on. [break][break] Cetus was having none of it. It gave an angry cry as it splashed, her tail thrashing behind to catch up to its speed. "Quick, Cetus! Use Water Pulse!" [break][break] The milotic let out a soft cry as it tried to keep up. It slowed down a little-- but in its place as its maw opened, a ball of watery energy took form. With her cry, the ball fired out, attempting to hit and erupt to confuse the electric rat! [break][break] However, in the midst of the projectile, the Raichu swerved his riding tail and soon with a kick of water-- performed a rather impressive flip and loop in mid-air, dodging the Water Pulse all together as it flew off into the distance. [break][break] The Raichu flew overhead of them, a wicked grin on its mischevious furry face. Sparks showed from its cheeks-- giving a good hint of what was about to happen. [break][break] "Oh no..." Zachary almost signed. [break][break]"Rai--- CHUUUUUU!!!!" A series of electric bolts just fired off, taking the shape of stars that shocked far and wide-- and struck both Zachary and Cetus both. The poor Milotic cried out at the super-effective attack, knocking them clearly out of the fight. [break][break] THe same Electric attack could very well hit Josh and his Water types too, risking to not only hinder them and make them fall behind. [break][break] The Raichu landed back into the water-- and was off once again at break-neck speed. It gave its active cries as it flew away, leaving a trail of kicked up water in its wake. [break][break] Zachary and Milotic were in bad shape as Zachary struggled to stay afloat, Cetus just barely keeping a hold of Zachary on her side as she sluggishly swam back towards the sandbar where they started... the poor Milotic having suffered bad injury at the hands of the rodent. [break][break]

Dizzy had tried to use his shrine fox divine nature to try and pacify these lost souls, like any kitsune-like figure....[break][break] That failed spectacularly at the attack of blue fire balls. Dizzy gave a loud bark and ducked, hiding from the fireballs. He gave a series of angry barks, showing how pissed he was after he tried to help the lost souls. [break][break] Zachary sighed. "Ugh... well, Dizzy, not everyone appreciates your astetics like you," Zachary said, trying to console his foxy companion. [break][break] Dizzy, wasn't going to accept defeat however as the Delphox growled and his eyes glowed. His rainbow flames glowed brighter once again, no longer in the mindset of purification, but offense. [break][break] Waiting for a chance when the Annalipe was out of the way-- Dizzy waved his flaming stick into a circle, preparing an attack. If he couldn't save the lost souls, he would put them out of their suffering. [break][break] "BRAAAAAAHH!!" Dizzy cried, and blew out a blast of fire from the ring-- casting Mystical Fire and into the array of lost souls. If the flames wouldn't save them, they would no doubt put them to rest. [break][break]
Zachary braced himself from the heat of the magical blaze, hoping he wasn't going overboard. "Well, you can't say my Delphox lacks energy to burn," Zachary mentioned to Arron, hoping it would do some effect on the ghosts. .[break][break]

Happy had given it a good effort, especially to avoid serious injury from the advantage type the Dhelmgist was. HGowever, his luck had run out from Metronome and his combat as the Gyro Ball came in. Happy tried to dodge, but was struck by the powerful blow of the ball! Happy was knocked several feet away, the cannonball like projectile hitting the poor little Mime. [break][break] "Happy! " he shouted, the trainer concerned to see his Mime Jr on the floor. There was no negative jeering or hasstle as the crowd watched the little mime who had held his own. [break][break] Hearing his trainer's shout, Happy fought to crawl back to his feet. Despite covered with bad scratches and bruises-- the little Mime rose up, but on his last legs. [break][break] "Happy, use Mimic one last time! It's all or nothing!"Zachary cried. [break][break] With a cheer, Happy jumped forward and vanished into a dark portal like Dhelmgist did. [break][break] Once more was a pause as Happy had vanished, till another portal came from the Dhelmhist's lower left-- trying to catch him off guard with a quick attack and perhaps win for his trainer! [break][break] A final gambit or a desperate ploy against a far stronger enemy? No one could tell as Happy gave it all to beat the ghostly foe. [break][break]

An invitation to a mascarade ball. It was a fun idea after all the hardships and challenges Zachary had to go through. It was a good idea but he feared he didn't have the right clothing. Zachary soon had a connection with Elise Calcifet to get him a proper tuxedo. Further he also found a fun mask-- resembling a Thievul's like face mask. Very foxy. Zachary mingled in the party, with a couple of his Pokemon-- a very curious and mischevious Spriggatito, and a Hoothoot perched on his shoulder. The little grass cat was excited as he prowled looking for the 'scavanger' items, though wasn't really sure what the game was for. Zachary too looked around. As he mingled, drinking a mocktail and taking in the ritz and glamour of high-society, he soon found something... [break][break] He found a card on the ground-- a very odd one with an unusual backing. The moment he saw it, he knew exactly what it was. A Tarot Card. He soon picked it up, and wondered what it was. [break][break] [break][break] He picked it up, likely seeing it. He knew it wasn't one of his own cards, as the design was completely different and so was the illustration-- but this was indeed an item that perhaps was part of the scavenger hunt. He didn't know if he would win the game or not, but this card felt more like an omen than a mere party prop. Time would tell...[break][break][break][break]

The sphere of interdimensional energy was both terrifying and exciting for Zachary to see. He stood there with some of his pokemon, a chingling on his shoulder, and Cetus the Milotic next to him floating in the air. With the mysterious energy there, Zachary dared to enter. He placed a hand forward and saw as energy crackled-- his hand easily passed through the veil. [break][break] Zachary pushed forward and with his pokemon, they entered the interdimensional space. [break][break] As he moved through the mailstrom of energy and light they arrived in an unusual, etherial space. It was hard to make heads or tails of things in there, but he noticed something odd there. As he turned-- he soon saw his Chingling, as he had suddenly transformed from the adorable little bell into the 'windchime' Chimecho. The psychic bell jingled its new little body, having adapted to the change without issue or complaint. Zachary looked in surprise as Milotic joined them too. [break][break] As they wandered, a Typhlosion different from what he knew appeared, sporting ghostly flames and lunged to attack! Milotic soon retaliated to protect Zachary! In a show of great spirit, Milotic conjured a ball of watery power-- and fired it at the attacking fire-type. The water reacted and slammed into the attacker, prompting it to run away, scared. [break][break] Zachary looked to Milotic, having long been overdue to grow into her new powers. [break][break] The two continued their journey into the unknown, finding more and more mystery in this different world... [break][break]

As the other pokemon relaxed or played in the sand, Zachary took interest for the object in the distance. If it was a wave-- something about the wave was odd. It was moving differently than just one direction. It took a while but it began to move closer and closer, till the figure was more in view. [break][break] They soon saw it-- a rather large-sized giant mouse like creature in a chocolate brown fur, and odd little points for ears. Its ears was a bright yellow, so was its cheeks-- and oddly a thin 'wire' attached to a giant tail protrusion it was using like a surfboard. It glowed with energy as it flew down the wave-- which was glowing for some reason. [break][break] "Rai-RAAAIII!!" the creature cheered as it rode down the wave like a surfer. The sheer glow of its body matched the wave, as it came closer and larger! [break][break] "Um... Josh, is it just my imagination or is that getting a bit too--" Zachary said but soon stopped as he saw the wave the Raichu was on suddenly eclipse them. "-- CLOSE!!" [break][break] The wave reached up, capped, and came down on them! Both trainers and Pokemon got a very heavy splash of sea water that was strong enough to knock them flat on their butts. Happy was smart enough to make a small barrier with "Light Screen" protecting himself, Spriggatito, and Calipso. Prophet had flew upward-- seeing it coming and yet not warning anyone. Milotic was unharmed, but bothered by the rude gesture...[break][break] And Dizzy emerged looking like a drenched rat, his face now in an annoyed scowl the fox had when it was soaking wet. [break][break] Zachary felt the water drawn back but he was now soaked, his clothing and jacket soggy. He shook his head, clearing the water form his face as he looked up. "What the hell was that for?!" Zachary cried out. [break][break] It was then that from sea to air-- the little creature made a grand appearance, floating in the air with a daring aerial spin. It soon stopped mid-air on its surfboard, tail, giving a proud and boastful grin. "Raichuuuu!!" it cried, being unusually big for a pokemon like him. Zachary took out his Pokedex, and quickly scanned it. [break][break][break][break] "An alola Raichu of all things? Here?" Zachary exclaimed, both impressed and surprised to find such a rare pokemon-- rare being so far away from the Alola islands. [break][break] As if hearing its name, it just stuck out its chest proudly as if accepting praise. [break][break] However... [break][break] "Brrrrrak! Bruk-Bruk!" Dizzy barked. It never liked getting soaking wet and was now furious at Raichu for dropping a ton of water on them somehow. [break][break] The Raichu looked at Dizzy, seeing his fit of frustration while soaked and his fur droopy. "Rai-rai-rai-rai-rai-rai-rai!!" the electric surfer mouse rolled back onto its floating tail and shook, clutching his tummy as he seemed to laugh at the Delphox. [break][break] Zachary frowned at the Raichu, clearly not making the best first impression with Dizzy or most of them, as they didn't like being douced with sea water without warning. "Well... isn't this Raichu a little sparkplug..." Zachary grumbled, sharing Dizzy's frustration for its rudeness. [break][break] They all shared this aggrivation-- but soon speaking up, Milotic came up and gave a firm cry of disapproval. [break][break] It was out of character of Cetus-- and Zachary soon heard it and saw the firm glare of anger she gave to the Raichu. In her own words, she expressed great disapproval to Raichu's behavior, like a mother scolding a child. [break][break] While surprising from his loving Milotic, it didn't faze the Raichu. [break][break] Instead, he did something 'childish' as he soon danced upon his surfboard tail. "Rai-rai-rai-rai-rai-raiiiii!" as if to say 'na-na-na you can't catch me', till what was unmistakable-- used its little paw to lower its eyelid and stick out its tongue. [break][break] A vein could be shown on Milotic's face as Raichu suddenly sped off, leaving a trail of water below its psychic force. [break][break] That-- clearly made all of them angry... [break][break]
