(Changes in circumstances) Zachary called Josh-- hoping he was available to meet in the rolling hills. He picked up his Porygon phone and reached him. "JOsh-- it's Zachary. I was hoping we can talk. Can you meet me at the Mawville Hills north of your gym? " Zachary called, hoping his friend could meet him. "I think we have some things to discuss after.. well you know," Zachary stated. [break][break] So he waited. Deciding to kill time, he let out more of his pokemon, and soon letting a few more out. Happy came out, happy to frolic in the tall grass while Dizzy laid there sunbathing with his red fur. He was able to call his other pokemon, but the field wouldn't be great for all of them. Still, Zachary was patient as he too had Umbreon about, Prophet gazing at the sun, and a few others. [break][break] For now he waited to see if his friend could visit him so they could talk about the events that happened with the aliens and the abduction they both experienced...[break][break]

It was rewarding to see the opponent was surprised by Terastellization. An electric or ground type would of been more practical but Hermes was a speedy pokemon-- and psychic tera boosted its already psychic attributes further. It also played to Zachary's strengths as well. [break][break] On the sidelines, Dizzy and Nyx cheered as they encouraged their trainer to win. [break][break] However, the sparks on the ground began to spark less and less-- signs that Electric Terrain was going to expire soon. THe pikachu released a powerful THunderbolt! Raichu sped around the brunt of it, but still felt its shocking impacts on its back! The Alola Raichu now, no longer an electric type now felt its full effects-- which was a shock for him. [break][break] No pun intended.[break][break] "We got to finish this quickly!" Zachary urged to Hermes as he skated along the battlefield. "Let's end this with Tera Blast!" [break][break] Hermes charged and with a paw raised-- violet sparkling energy gathered before his paw. It swirled and gathered into a sphere-- but soon blipped out of sight! It would reappear right before Pikachu-- threatening to go off with a quartz-colored crystal explosion of tera power![break][break] Should the fight go on further-- Electric Terrain would have to be renewed. Or else even with Agility active on Hermes-- he would be a sitting duck to the electric mouse. But Zachary had no idea what could happen next from this surprise challenger! [break][break]

Route 101 - [break][break] The grassy forests of Route 101 was indeed peaceful, but reports everywhere showed something strange was afoot. Zachary continued to look at the device given to him by Josh Devlin while he was away, to help monitor the strange readings. After his events in Area Zero and Prismatic Penatentary in space-- he wanted to take a vacation sorely. But, now he was observing strange readings as the summer heat bared down on him. [break][break] But it wasn't from the summer sun alone. [break][break] As he was there-- he was in the rare company of his friendly Rabsca. While Zachary didn't normally feel comfortable around the bug pokemon, he was trying hard to adjust to his presence and company. He did care about his Pokemon, but bug Pokemon made his skin crawl. [break][break] Rabsca however had an affinity for sunlight. He loved it and absorbed the unusual energy radiating in this area. [break][break] Reading the sensors, Zachary paced around the grassy terrain with Rabsca shortly hovering behind him. "Josh should be happy with this. But I honestly hope this isn't another incident brewing. My parents will kill me if it comes again-- or have me come back to Johto..." Zachary complained. [break][break] Rabsca gave a series of clicks and chirps, as if trying to converse with Zachary. While the sounds were unnerving to Zachary, he took a deep breath and smiled to the pokemon. "Thanks for coming with me, Rabsca. I know I haven't had you around a lot but I hope to change that real soon." [break][break] With that, Zachary and Rabsca continued to survey the area. [break][break]

Things were getting dicey in Hoenn-- especially AFTER the events of the abduction Zachary had suffered. Though he had recovered and was back into the thick of things... he still wanted to be aware of his surroundings and be on top of his responsibilities as an up and coming Gym Leader. Or so he would tell himself. But things have changed. He heard rumors that war was coming... the forces of Team Rocket about to make their move. [break][break] First, it was in Area Zero-- when a rocket big shot attacked Zachary. Then it was in the mines to the east. He had ran into rocket trouble enough times, and nearly put him in danger each time. [break][break] Now he was on another trek as he explored a small canyon close to Mawville City. He was often looking for Tera Crystals-- but also any other strante phanominon and pokemon that could be useful in the war effort. In the end, Zachary's viewpoint was that Team Rocket was trouble-- who used pokemon as nothing more for tools for crime and war. [break][break] As he was surveying the Tera Crystals and what relics he could find-- he also had to be mindful. Team Rocket agents were everywhere nowadays, so he had to be on his guard. Like always, he had his trusty Delphox companion Dizzy with him, as the Fox looked around the canyon too. And on Zachary's shoulder now-- was his adorable Hoothoot "Nyx" . [break][break]

Dizzy now began to try to keep distance while the Alola Ninetails chased after him, Zachary watched as Shalin really got into a good speed with Raichu as Hermes raced with her all around the place. Apparently it caught the jealousy of a Jolteon of hers' and began to race them. Hermes soon saw the Jolteon's challenging jealous. As Shalin hugged his back to urge him on-- Hermes gave a mischievous grin with his new rival-- and used Agility-- going even faster! [break][break] Hermes just loved to race and since meeting Zachary, he had lots of fun challenges! The fact he had a pretty girl hugging him made him even happier as he worked hard to race and impress her. [break][break] THe two sped all over the place in a mad race with no real beginning or end. Zachary gave a nervous chuckle, unsure how this little ride was going to end. [break][break]

Razz's reaction was a surprise-- to both parties. The "Hypno-Igor" rasped his fingers slowly on the table as if in thought. "My, such hostility from this guest. It's not healthy-- but be at ease, this is not a place of violence," the Hypno replied. [break][break] Razz seemed to have the will to speak, but Zachary struggled to get the words. He turned to his Delphox, wondering if he could talk too if this was a dream? "Dizzy? Can you speak here too?" Zachary asked. [break][break] "Bruk?" the fox barked, and shrugged as if to say 'i don't know?' But he was there too. [break][break] The Hypno chuckled a bit-- though his demeanor wasn't a threat, his tone didn't convince any lack of suspicion. [break][break] "Be at ease. You are safe in this place, he explained, all the while the Guardivour attendant remained stationary and silent as her 'master' explained everything. It was then that the Hypno raised a hand over the table-- and a deck of cards appeared. "This is a place that exists between mind and matter. It separates dreams from reality. Normally, only those who have signed a contract, may enter this room. " [break][break] As he spoke he waved his hands over the deck-- which soon moves the cards on their own. Psychic power spreads the cards out as they would get a closer look .[break][break] The card opened, revealing The Hermit, a mysterious figure which seemed to be holding a Lampurt in the dark misty landscape. [break][break] "I feel you both may benefit from our services-- but first, a trial awaits you. Should you succeed in prevailing in the face of this mysterious-- and handsome-- challenger, I am sure we shall see each other again." Igor said with a hint of a chuckle. [break][break] The guardivour, Vivianne soon looked up to both of them. "Do no fear, dear guests. The fact that you are here, proves you have the strength to prevail. I shall eagerly pray for your safe return," she said as the room began to fade from view--[break][break] Or would have, till a sudden tremor hooked the 'dreamscape'. [break][break] "Oh dear," the Guardivour seemed speak up, almost amused, "It seems your ally already has come to collect you." she stated. [break][break] "Huh?" Zachary asked, curious. As he turned around to the 'exit'-- a familiar face suddenly appeared. Not Dizzy, but a certain sneaky-eyed, spiky, giant-purple-people-peever. Zachary blinked at the sight of him. "Greed?" Zachary questioned seeing the Haunter. How did HE get into the dream? [break][break] In that sudden moment-- Greed suddenly grew to the full size of the room, and opened his giant maw with a frightful cry! Like a big purple-people-eater-- it lunged, attempting to swallow Zachary, Dizzy, Razz and all! [break][break] "GHAAAAAAAAAHH!!!" [break][break]

[break][break] "BRAAAHH!?" Zachary gasped as he shot upward! He was on the ground now, sitting up from his startled state. As now would Razz, find himself now awake and back in the abandoned hallway they had previously been. So did Dizzy, and any other Pokemon who shared the dream. [break][break] Confused, Zachary looked to soon find his other pokemon-- Happy, Prophet, and more so the two Meowstics. Both of them meowed and checked on the two young men, concerned if they were hurt. [break][break] Puzzled, Zachary looked up, seeing his Haunter hovering above them with a mischievous grin. Zachary soon understood and gave a small frown. "Greed..." he sighed, realizing what happened. "Maybe next time try something a little less horrifying to wake us up?" Zachary asked. [break][break] Greed had used Nightmare -- a ghost type move that allowed the Haunter to enter people's dreams and cause nightmares to sleeping foes. In this case, he used Nightmare to snap Zachary and Razz from their Hypnosis and wake them up. [break][break] After shaking his head, he sighed. "Thanks for waking us up, buddy." [break][break] "Hau-hau-hau-hau-haut!" Greed laughed, happy to 'help' his friends in ways only he could do. [break][break] Zachary soon got up and looked to Razz "Are you okay too?" Zachary asked. [break][break] Dizzy too rose up-- his fur looking a mess as he clearly had been rattled asleep and looked like someone with 'bedhair'. A chuckle came from the Mime Jr, but tried to cover it up to not invoke the fox's ire. [break][break]

A few days free from the hospital after the events of Prismatic Penantenory, Zachary was given a clean bill of health. He had suffered some bad sprains and bruises from the abuse he got from his captives, but had he not had any medical care by the hand of Pokemon-- he would of been much worse off. [break][break] Needing time to rest away from his constant traveling, Zachary now was in the fields of Mauville City, just beyond city limits. It was untouched by most modern buildings and prying eyes as Zachary rested there-- very close to Josh's gym grounds. [break][break] Zachary now laid among the tall grass of one of the rolling fields, looking up at the clouds. [break][break] Nearby, mimicking him was Dizzy. No surprise. His longest and most trusted friend and Pokemon partner. The red fox laid back, opposite Zachary and let out a sleepy yawn as they saw the different shape clouds drift by. [break][break] Zachary had given a call to Josh-- learning he too was in the hospital but didn't cross paths while they were there. He had called him on his Poketech, arranged to meet and talk out here where no one would spy or overhear them. Hopefully... [break][break] He had many questions, and worries. He had a grasp of the dangers that now was on his journey, and wondered if he did the right thing in the end. The fact they ended up kidnapped by aliens in outer space was a lot for him to take, so he now had to figure it out... [break][break]

They entered the final lap! As they passed, Dizzy, Tarot and the others continued to cheer them on! Zachary caught the glimpse of Dizzy's waving torch and Happy's cheering as they passed, leaving them as quickly as a shot in the corner of their eyes. [break][break] They entered the turns that would lead to the ramp once again-- but shortly after crossing the finish line-- they heard the pop and roar of an electric eruption! [break][break] Both Hermes and Zachary looked behind-- to see that Josh was violently speeding up via the use of a Z-move! IT was the first time Zachary saw one in action, and this one was just amazing as he was quickly catching up, blazing past the other two. Now it was Purugly, Hermes and Josh's Raichu now all the top racing contenders! [break][break] This was it. Zachary was patient till now but now was the time to break out his trump card! Electro pad was well and good but lacked control and only good for a short distance. Holdong on to Hermes back as best as he could, he dug into his pocket and took out the Tera Orb he had. "Hermes, this is it! Let's show them what we can really do!" Zachary shouted, causing the Alola Raichu to look behind to him and see the Tera Orb in hand. [break][break] [break][break] Hermes face lit up with a gleeful smile, excited to see what would happen to him after done! [break][break]As they left the first turn -- Zachary extended the Tera Orb, and it began to glow! Specks of light gathered into his palm and the orb as they raced forward! [break][break] Once fully charged, the Tera Orb flashed ready! "Hermes-- TERASTELIZATION!!" he cried, shoving the ball in the direction ahead of the track! [break][break] As they swung into the turn-- a giant crystal protrusion of what looked like violet quartz appeared in front of them. Despite the sudden appearance of an obstruction-- Hermes just grinned and charged forward towards it! [break][break] A cry of shock came to Zachary as Hermes rammed right into it-- the crystal shattering like glass on impact, with a crash and flash of light! [break][break] Hermes body as he crashed through the crystal instantly changed, as if the shards now covered him like powder! Hermes now sparkled with a violet sheen of crystal along his body. Further, he now sported a very odd 'crown' marked by the glowing emblem of a purple eye! Hermes Psychic Tera form! [break][break] It happened so fast, Zachary didn't know how to take it, but Hermes was now overflowing with a sudden surge of power! A grin showed on Hermes face as he felt his own energy skyrocket under the influence of the Tera Crystals. [break][break] Now fully charged by this mystical power, Zachary directed him forward. "Alright, Hermes! This is the final lap! Time to cut loose! " he cried with excitement. [break][break]
"RRAAAAIII!!" The Alola Raichu cheered in response. With it, he gave another powerful 'kick' of his Psychic power! [break][break] The resulting jolt that normally propelled the Alola Raichu-- was like a psychic explosion that kicked up dust and debris in their wake! Zachary almost felt the psychic hold on him weaken as he felt the shock in speed, inertial threatening to send him flying backward and leave him in the dust! Hermes was like a rocketship now, his natural speed jacked up to eleven! [break][break] With barely any effort, Hermes easily jumped over the wramp that went overhead the start of the track! They landed smoothly, as the now large, violet and tanned electric mouse sped down the track! [break][break]

As the chaos of the scares and spooks running about-- Greed just laughed at it all. Zachary soon got pokeballs for all his new Pokemon, and soon brought them all to his pocket to keep them safe. Hoothoot on his shoulder looked at his cards, as did the stray Meowstic with him. Realizing it was getting late, Zachary collected his cards as he saw Himari getting upset by all the spooky mischief. Greed came over, as if to console her, giving his disembodied claw a friendly pat on her shoulder. For a ghost Pokemon, he did love getting to know other people. [break][break] A yawn came from Zachary as he collected his cards and put them away. They could still hear the crack of thunder and the roar of rain on the thin roof. [break][break] "We should maybe call it a night. It doesn't look like the storm is letting up. We should make the most of this," Zachary said as he stood up. He then turned to the Meowstic beside him. "I hate to impose-- but is there a place where we can sleep for the night? " he asked. [break][break] The Meowstic excitedly meowed and soon led the way out of the dining room-- to the next series of rooms among the old mansion. [break][break] As they walked by, they approached upstairs-- but was soon interrupted by a loud chirp! Hoothoot too heard the cry and soon as they opened a door-- a giant winged fluffy creature came flying out! [break][break] Meowstic gave a meow of anger as the seemingly blind fluffball with wings was flapping widely over their heads-- perhaps even scaring others! [break][break] "Hey Nyx? THink you can calm it down?" Zachary cried. Hoothoot didn't hesitate as the wise and cute owl focused-- and Hypnotised the fluttering bat. [break][break] As the bat soon faced them... it was met with the waves of psychic energy-- and it began to feel sleepy. The little bat soon calmed down and began to drift to the floor close to them. It was a Woobat-- and now looked far more cuter now that it calmed down. Now that it was asleep, Zachary took out a Pokeball and tossed it to it. It didn't even resist too much as it went inside, clicking shut. [break][break] A sigh escaped Zachary-- now honestly feeling tired. [break][break] The Meowstic let out a sigh of relief as he looked down the hall-- but paused as it spied a certain dark blue door. [break][break] There, the cat glared at it, but didn't move to it. Eventually, it directed them to the two rooms. Inside were beds, and while not completely well made, they were free of dust and able to still let people lay on them. [break][break] "Thank you, Meowstic. You're so sweet!" Zachary said as he knelt down, and gave loving pats to the cat's head. [break][break]

A few seconds as the Haze began to fade with Nyx flapping her wings energetically to clear it up-- a sudden appearance of red eyes rewarded her efforts! [break][break] HOOOOT! she cried as she saw the eyes and fled-- scared stuff and flew right for Zachary's shoulder, nervous by it. [break][break] "Nyx? Nyx, what's wrong?!" Zachary asked-- but didn't get much time as the Arbock suddenly lunged and bit into Dizzy's leg! The vicious snake soon whipped Dizzy about and threw him away, completely catching them all off guard! [break][break]Dizzy gasped as he was thrown, taking extreme damage from such a powerful dark attack! [break][break] Zachary's eyes were wide with alarm! "What the heck?!" Zachary gasped as he looked through the passing Haze, spying two figures. One with the owner of the Arbock- the other however was a taller woman, dressed completely in black with a hood. [break][break] "Don't mind us... we're just clearing out vermin." the disguised Yew said. [break][break] Unable to tell who they were-- but from their disguises, Zachary knew this much. "You?! You're Team Rocket, aren't you?!" he declared angrily for hurting his Delphox. [break][break][break][break] While any dark attack was going to do in a psychic type-- luckily Dizzy was not so weak he couldn't take a single dark attack like that. Grunting from the pain, Dizzy rose back to his feet and took out his stick. His eyes burned with fury as did the tip of his stick. The Delphox was now pissed with Blaze![break][break] However, unbeknownst to Zachary and Dizzy they were not alone as a serpentine creature crept up on them from the old Rocket machines. "Gorgon... poison tail." the woman hissed, pleased. [break][break] Both Zachary and Dizzy's eyes widened! It was an ambush! [break][break] The seviper lunged to strike Dizzy from behind-- but Dizzy was quick to evade as the fox rolled out of the way just in time-- now seeing both snakes creeping around. [break][break] It was real easy to panic now and Zachary didn't have the time to take out another pokemon. Kirlia beside him gave a coo of concern as he saw Dizzy hold his own! Not waiting around-- Kirlia came running into the battlefield, intending to help Dizzy! The little Kirlia didn't even hesitate and gave a pulse of blue watery magic! Life Dew that dropped on Dizzy-- and healed some of the damage caused by the Arbock's bite! [break][break] "Thanks Kirlia! Good thinking! " Zachary said, but realized they were in danger now. They had to act. "Dizzy-- use Psyshock!" [break][break] With both snakes being poison types-- psychic damage was the smart thing to do! Dizzy let out a howl as his eyes glowed-- Using both stick and its other hand-- Dizzy launched a barrage of psychic-purple lightning bolts! They both soared and arched in the air-- raining down towards both snakes in the hope to strike them down! [break][break] While Arbock was in Ash's command-- the Seviper in the other rocket's quickly tried to slither out of reach, easily hiding among the machinery to avoid the impact. [break][break] Soon the snake crawled free, hissing as it shook her tail. [break][break] "Aw-- it's so adorable you think you have the advantage, little boy. But you're not the only ones with options..." she said as she too held out a Tera Orb of her own! [break][break] As the Tera Orb glowed-- spinning and illuminating the cave, as the shards of remaining tera crystals resonated with it. She then threw the orb-- causing it to burst its light. Black onyx-like crystal jetted up around the Seviper, and soon shattered! The black and violet serpent was now encrusted with a black sheen--and her head now marked by an odd 'crown' with a wickedly smirking face of some sort above its head. [break][break] A dark tera type Seviper had now appeared. "Dizzy! Use psychic!" Zachary directed. [break][break] Dizzy let out a growl as he too released another Psychic attack, attempting to hurt the snake. The snake's body glowed from the attack-- as if it was about to be sent flying...[break][break] ... but nothing happened! [break][break] Zachary and Dizzy looked in equal surprise. "What?!" he gasped. [break][break] "Foolish, little boy," the woman in black said with a chuckle of dark amusement. "Did you really think you were the only one who could Terastellize a pokemon? Such childish heroism and naivety will be the death of you." she playfully implied as a threat. [break][break]
