Whatever. This was a vacation kind of activity. She needed to let go. It was against her nature, but. What could you do? Her eyebrows shoot up at his offer. He still trusted her? Enough for that? It was an unusual feeling. Not that she had endless lists of enemies or anything, but she hadn't had this kind of trust put in her since she was leading battalions in Galar. She hadn't bled enough to earn Temp's. "Um, I can do that." She's feeling thrown off by his receptiveness, and by his interest in vitals, of all things. Porygon offers a transfer, though the zip file is poorly organized. The experiment showed promise, but Ameena had lost her stomach for re-running a gemini study. At least for now. [break][break]

Scientific curiosity rears its head. "Do you have a theory?" Those two were avatars, but the data from John Sullivan and the consequent Lele visit suggested he, too, was an Avatar.

The warning resonates with her fear, but she feels warm at the advice. For Temp to look after her well-being after the unintentional betrayal speaks volumes to his character. It was a mix of psychic abuse, and a bunch of nobody goons, and a face cream with an odd side-effect of throwing off facial recognition - something her tech team had struggled with due to the interdisciplinary nature of the project. If it didn't cause severe hives after use, she'd have already donated it to the cause. [break][break]

"I did not experience the Galar Memory," she says regretfully. howard slayte had referenced it when she visited him in his post-Dewford hospital bed. Her head perks up at the epiphany. "Musharna. She's recently developed an ability to project the subconscious to physical form." The floating dream pokemon makes an echoing sound. You remain conscious, but also in a semi-dreaming state. And I am unsure either of us could control what it pulls from your subconscious. It is deeply experimental." More than the study, but it at least hadn't hurt anyone.[break][break]

Her office was a safe enough space to experience Musharna's z-move, but that didn't change the fact she had not earned the privilege of Temp's mind. She never had. "Tapu Lele's interference has corrupted much of my data, but Porygon can offer you the incomplete snippets he's stored. Gardevoir oversaw you and Cillian Quinn , so it's her transcription he's stored." She could not blame him for preferring to read about what was salvaged rather than try to reform it in his current mind.

Area Zero held a lot of good memories for Ameena. She had met several Rocket colleagues here and grown more familiar with the anomalies surrounding Hoenn. She brought some of her strongest pokemon for the trip, knowing just how dangerous tera crystals were, but she walked with only her Musharna out. Moira brought her a level of comfort as the potential for danger created a seed of anxiety in Ameena's chest. [break][break]

She felt further calmed by the sight of Lulu, though the other scientist served as a reminder that Ameena needed to gather resources for a Sygna suit of her own. She caught only the tail end of the conversation Lulu held with the scientist. "I should have brought a bingo card for paradox pokemon. I wonder if we can spot all of them on this excursion." [break][break]

Musharna was less excited at the prospect, but Ameena knew the pokemon's potent sleep mist had gotten them both out of a few hairy situations with paradoxes before. "Where should we begin?"

League events were largely stupid celebrations of nothing. Still, anything that offered them publicity - positive publicity - was a problem for their organization. So several teams of Rocket members had been dispatched to perform louder and block out their concert. "Ready also. We want to prioritize volume over quality," she reminded. Her cowbell had been a silly choice, but it's distinct pinging sound would help overpower other songs, especially with the microphone right on it. [break][break]

She hoped to use it to disrupt the rhythm of League performers. Ultimately, with the chaos of varying performances, she went for a calm approach. It set apart from the faster rhythms and would be more noticeable as a result to listeners.

There are few afflictions more common than the insomnia post-Kanto. Not many in Rocket had talked to her about how haunted they were from Kanto, but she could read between the lines. Carrying the weight of that for so long, though, would degrade the mind and body. She ought to offer sleep aides to the Kanto survivors... sleep aide in the experimental sense, of course. She offers no worthless platitude. Her service in the Galarian army gives her a better understanding. [break][break]

She braces herself on her elbows, fingers laced and chin resting on them. "That is a very interesting question, Matias. Implanting dreams is something I have learned to do. Arceus knows, I would free myself of the bad ones." Not necessarily true, but close enough. She would choose to only dream of her mum, to get closer to saving her. [break][break]

Montgomery James had knocked her out, but he hadn't taken her in. When she'd woken in Mossdeep without a sight of him, she'd been left with a confusing knot of feelings. Could she even call that an olive branch? Worrying about untangling her feelings was going to keep her from fighting effectively, so she made a deal with herself that she could visit him when this was over in exchange for ignoring all thoughts of him. Easier said than done. Which mean, as she arrived in Sootopolis to utter chaos, she needed the assistance of her Gardevoir to keep her mind clear. She mega evolved the pokemon against her better judgement, knowing how Gardevoir's sadism took over her when her infinity energy peaked... but violence was necessary today. [break][break]

Tempest Quinn 's callout about Palkia made it clear that she couldn't afford to hold back. This was a battlefield full of men and gods. In the middle of her plotting an attack against Palkia, she saw a flicker of green. The fairy from the Penitentiary... and her keeper, Yuina Higashi . The sight of the girl fanned a flame inside Gardevoir and a twin flame inside Ameena. Neither of them could rest til the girl was fertilizer. [break][break]

Ameena felt the weight of her gun on her hip, but Gardevoir wanted first shot, so she held off drawing it. Gardevoir launched mystical fire at Yuina Higashi , intent to render her ash. She isn't afraid to burn bridges when necessary. "Tell me, has your sleep been consistent since your initial contact with the divine? How sure are you that your current state is unrelated to Groudon?" Several Avatars were in her study. She would need an entirely different sleep study to isolate those variables, though. She knows most of the public stuff about him, but she's spent little time reading Rocket dossiers on big name Leaguers because she spends such a significant time behind battle lines and working behind the scenes. Still, she can only imagine the kind of horrors that come to him in his dreams after all he's been through. She wonders how his dreams have been impacted by his relationship with divinity. "Complicated in what way?" She leans back, positive this conversation will not be brief. "I am always happy to get to the bottom of unusual dream activity, though if this is more a result of recent troubles, I must admit that I am a poor therapist."
