rain is good for business. rain is bad for her laziness. [break][break]

all things considered, the line isn't too long today - but there's still a few people there. most locals, for one reason or another, like to crowd around the shop during rainy season so they can do some studying. her cafe is aesthetically pleasing enough, and she designed it that way for a reason, but goddamn. [break][break]

there's only two other people working with her, though those people were volunteers who came in to help her out. that's the good thing about being friendly with the locals; they help you out when you need it. [break][break]

the line slowly thins out, and she's left back to her own devices. "hey! sorry for the wait~" she chimes, her smile reaching bright, ruby eyes. the man who enters isn't.. familiar. he certainly isn't a local. "what would you like to order?"

something sweet.[break][break]

decorum is the only thing that maintains the respectful front. "coming right up~" she chimes, fingers dancing along the jars of sugar to prepare some. then, she reaches under the cabinet to open up a mini-fridge and pull out a small carton of cream. when the coffee is finished brewing and spills out the tar black bitterness, she begins to mix the other two ingredients in to create a softer, cream-colored coffee. [break][break]

though, you can't exactly call it coffee anymore with how light it was. maybe a liquid coffee candy?[break][break]

the lightness melts into the drink, and the woman hums at the impending question. "damn, i can't shirk now that boss is here." she chuckles. he knows just as well as she does, the power that he holds over her head. the way he implies the luxury of free will would be insulting, if she didn't take it comically. [break][break]

"alright, i'll bite~" she moves around the counter, putting the extra ingredients back onto their shelves before serving the cup of coffee in its cute, beige, white and turquoise packaging. she slides it over when leaning her upper body against the countertop. "whatcha need? i can do anything~" she pauses, and a smile follows a playful tone "-- minus killing. i'd rather avoid that if i can~."

it's ironic how her junior was her superior. [break][break]

both in terms of age, and in terms of time spent in the organization. eilidh is too laid back to dwell on the details, instead wearing her drowsy smile when she raises and waves her hand. amor was a man of mystery - only because he's the one who helped bring her into hoenn, and the one who has been helping her integrate herself into the turbulent region. to a degree, she feels indebted to him. to another degree, she feels wary. [break][break]

complicated relationships aren't foreign to her, but never leave a pleasant taste on her tongue. only one thing keeps her from pressing on the matter, however: and that's her position. if there was anything the woman knew how to do, it was to lay low, duck her head and stay in her lane. [break][break]

it worked in paldea; hoenn is no different. [break][break]

"naaah~" her arms stretch forwards, like a feline stretching amidst her yawn. a hum leaves her lips as crimson eyes slowly blink in satisfaction. "just resting my eyes. don't worry about it." [break][break]

for all of her informality, her body moves towards the coffee machines. she plucks out a familiar hoenn brew, clipping the corner of it between her teeth as she reaches to bunch her hair up into a ponytail. [break][break]

"want some coffee?~"[break][break]

peaceful. [break][break]

that's what oldale was; peaceful, quaint, almost tiringly so. business never booms despite the lavish set up she had, and it's times like these where she thought it might be better for her to set up shop somewhere more crowded. much as she enjoys the quiet, the sound of nincadas chirping with the beating of sun rays through large, plane windows wasn't her permanent cup of tea. at least she decorated the place nicely; maybe she should have asked to be an interior designer instead. [break][break]

eilidh's left sitting on a stool by the counter, fingers tapping along the treated and glazed wooden surface. please, something happen - anything happen, before her head inevitably lowers and she drifts to sleep. indeed.. a nap sounds like a good idea, if only to kill some time. the locals know her well enough, and a small, local, homey business has no need to be professional all the time, right? [break][break]

so she rests her eyes for a moment - maybe two, if she's so daring, - until the familiar chime of the door rings. the woman immediately perks up, gently brushing a lock of hair behind the other ear. "welco--" a warm, tired voice leaves her lips until she properly catches who stands at the door. her sheepish smile gradually relaxes into coyness. [break][break]

"oh, it's you. hey, boss~."

EILIDH LEITCH

Legally, Eilidh is a humble florist from Postwick, Galar, who moved to Hoenn to pursue her dream of opening up a little coffee shop in a quaint and quiet town. After obtaining her GED, she worked restlessly in odd jobs to support herself, and saved enough to finally open up a small place for herself. She's lovingly named it THE PRAIRIE, with one side of the shop being a small coffee shop, and the other being a small flower shop.

Less legally, Eilidh is a highly skilled hacker from Freezington, Galar, who is responsible for countless data leaks, security breaches, and company collapses. She was immediately recruited into Rocket, and has since used their resources and connections to evade the police. The majority of her hackings leave no trace, and no stone touched, making her a looming threat to any cyber security measures set up.

Eilidh herself is generally pleasant, polite, and a little soft-spoken. She can come off as meek or anxious, maybe a little jumpy and rowdy once you get past the well-put together front she puts on. Anxiety and paranoia aside, she's quite confident in herself, and enjoys bickering and idle chit-chat. Sarcasm is her second language, but she'd sooner speak with her flowers. This playful behavior reaches into her professional life, making her a generally warm person to talk to. Once you can get past her slightly gloomy appearance, at least.

CURRENT PLOTS

SHE'S SUGAR AND SPICE
After moving to Hoenn, she has set up a small coffee shop, connected to her flower shop, under the name "The Prairie" in Oldale Town. The locals in the tight-knit town know her as a sweet, well-tempered baker and florist. Her coffee shop sells the usual, popular Hoenn brews, in addition to some brews straight from Galar, along with pastries from home.

SEEKING:
Officer connections she can give donuts to. She's just a good little flower bakery lady.
Locals of Oldale Town! You could be someone who helped her settle in, a friend she made after the fact, or whatever else.
Anything and everything for her civilian identity!
AND NOTHING IS NICE
Cheeriness aside, she's still part of Rocket, and she has a sense of undying loyalty to them. To Eilidh, Rocket is her family, her home, and her motivation; Rocket is everything to her. As a result, however, her usual guard is slightly lowered around them. After all, they could never betray her, could they? They couldn't, because she would never - is what she has foolishly led herself to believe.

Rocket Connections! She loves getting to know her co-workers, and will more than happily bring some pastries to be friendly.
A more concrete position in Rocket. She had a more solid place back in Paldea due to her previous hacking work but, as someone seemingly new to the scene in Hoenn, she needs to find her place otherwise she'll feel restless.

People she's screwed over in the past! She's the reason many businesses, large and small, have collapsed let it be through data theft, destruction, or otherwise. Maybe your life was ruined by her, and you don't know it was her. How fun that would be.

Flower shop customers! She loves flowers and knows a good amount about them.
Coffee Shop regulars are nice, even if she sometimes forgets to put things on that day's menu.
Rocket connections! She's recently transferred from the Paldea branch, and was part of Rocket for about 5 years prior to Hoenn.
