Soon after her relocation to Hoenn, Jill is issued a new living space for her time that she'll be spending here. Already informed of who her roommate will be, the idea of living with someone didn't sit well with her. Back home, she easily got by in her quarters, a bed all to herself with nothing else needed. After all, a home's primary purpose is to rest, anything else was deemed... extra.[break][break]

Arriving at her new dorm, she slides the key in place to a door she will see time and time again in the future, unlocking it for the first time and walking through. She takes a look around, if her roommate was there, she wouldn't even give so much as a "hello" to her. Her eyes would scan the area around her, making note of where every little thing was and placing it in her memory. Then, she'd walk inside with her bag of clothes, opening room after room to see which one she would call her own, finally settling in to an empty bedroom once she found it.

Cursed Corsola

A sigh breathes out from her lips. Her arms stretch far and wide on the edges of the bench she was sitting on in the town square. Her Galarian Corsola sits idly by on the what-used-to-be open spot next to her. Her sharp eyes stare straight into those passing by her, looking at her with disdain or disgust. She merely lets out a slight chuckle at the notion.[break]

"Hmph... Looks like they're even scared of us here huh Corsola?"[break][break]

The grotesque looking sea creature says nothing. The ghost coral Pokemon never once has muttered a sound, still, Jill had a small fondness for the pitiful Pokemon. In some ways, they were both alike, and maybe that's why they worked so well together.[break][break]

Jill takes her gaze to the bright blue sky. The same one she could see back in Kanto. She wondered how things were doing back there, and if she'd ever return. If she even wanted to in the first place. On days where there was no mission to be had, she found herself simply waiting, standing by until Rocket needed her.[break][break]

"Not exactly the start of this new life I was thinking of..." She mused to herself, boredom soon beginning to overwhelm her.

Not even a day after arriving and she's already put to work. Mere hours after reporting in to her new section, is she paired up with a fellow Rocket member, Kazuya Yoshida. While she preferred to work alone, there was no arguing with the heads of command and she'd just have to get used to the presence of others. Maybe this was supposed to be some sort of team bonding exercise, whatever the case, their mission was clear.[break][break]

A lone warehouse abandoned by its people, who knows just what it was used for in the past. Those details didn't matter, all that did was that there were precious materials inside that Jill and Kazuya's organization wanted, and they would have it.[break][break]

She turns to look at her partner in crime... although, would it really be a crime if no one owned the place?[break][break]

"Kazuya was it? Listen. We go in and out, taking whatever we can carry. Anyone gets in our way? We deal with them. Got it? Try to keep up."[break][break]

After giving the instructions, she runs to the side entrance of the warehouse, placing her hand onto the doorknob, prepared to open as soon as Kazuya followed suit.

How simple the world used to be. As a child, Jill never once knew the meaning of turmoil, strife, or grief. Her days were filled with nothing but the sweet happiness that life brought to her, aided by almost limitless wealth that her parents spent easily for their daughter. All in the name of love.[break][break]

Who would've thought however, that love wouldn't be enough.[break][break]

Her world came crumbling down when on one fateful day, she returned home from school to see her parents arguing with a man she did not recognize. Belonging to the organization that would lead her down a horrible path. This life didn't come easy for her parents, having borrowed money from Rocket in order to sustain their blissful lives, their rent was now due. With no other choice, Jill was practically given away to be enslaved by Rocket, needing to work for as long as they deemed it necessary to pay off her family's debt.[break][break]

With nowhere to run, and no one to turn to, she slowly became accustomed to life within Rocket, becoming desensitized to the violence and corruption around her. There was nothing she wouldn't do to earn her keep, assassinations, thievery, blackmail, to name a few. And as the days go by, she can feel herself changing into something that there was no coming back from. One some days she wondered, would her past self recognize her now?[break][break]

Yet opportunity arrived when news of war in the region of Hoenn echoed throughout the Kanto organization. Quickly was she conscripted into leaving her homeland for this new battlefield. A place so far from home, who knows if she would ever return. To leave everything behind may be a blessing to her. To start anew and earn her freedom. Or would her chains simply shift around instead?
