The liquid oozing out the Iron Leaves chest is a pleasing sight to Geisha's garnet orbs. She lets out a low growl as she feels the bloodlust starting to grow inside of her spirit even more. Airi watches her Pokémon's mannerism carefully as she does not wish to see her Pokémon lose control. "Geisha, I understand that you want to win, but do not lose sight of yourself." Airi tells her Pokémon in a calm, yet stern voice. Her words reach the Absol's ears loudly and clearly without any outside distracts. The Absol inhales and exhales a couple of deep breath as she keeps a watchful eye on her opponent. Within a few seconds, Absol seem to have snapped back into her own senses. Still, her eyes burn with a desire to best her opponent. Airi smiles as she watches her Pokémon regain her poised composure. She then shifts her attention back towards the Iron Leave, taking a few seconds to observe its fresh wound. She will need to treat it as soon as possible after this match.

Geisha's continues to study her opponent's movements. She takes a few steps away from the Iron Leaves as she notices it preparing to launch another move in her direction. Without any hesitations, the Absol summons clones of herself to cover the battlefield. With an ear-piercing howl, Geisha and her clones start to prance around the battlefield in order to confuse their opponent and throw off its concretion. The white mist around them painting the image of phantoms dancing in an ethereal world as all of them took advantage of the Iron Leaves going in fury
to dodge its Sacred Sword.

The Absol and her clones then rushed towards the Iron Leaves with another powerful Night Slash.

Geisha's menacing dance of the glowing swords did not seem to strike any fear in her opponent's heart. If anything, the intimidating dance see to encourage the Iron Leaves to become even more thirstful to taste her blood. The snow-white beast's crimson eyes took notice of the Iron Leaves at all times. The graceful cyborg seems to be quite nimble despite its body being made from lustrous alloy. The Absol's razor-edge, bow-like horn starts to vibrate slightly as it detects danger. The vibration itself is lower frequency, but Airi's trained ears are able to sense it. The beautiful mocha-haired maiden's body quivers just a bit from the intensity of the battle taking place right before her piercing azure orbs. Geisha and Absol both watching the Iron Leaves rushing towards its target.

Despite the eerie appearance of the glowing blade shining brilliant from its head, Absol does not show any fear for she knows that the Psychic-type move would not have any major effect on her body. She is a little bewildered by her opponent decision to use an ineffective attack, but she does not allow her mind to think about it too much. Perhaps, the Iron Leaves wants to give her a warning and not anything else at the moment. Still, Geisha used her own swift movements to escape the path of the raging blade. Airi's deep blue eyes widening at the sight of the ground splitting in half. So, this what Geisha's horn predicted earlier. She thought to herself. Watching the raw power of the Iron Leaves quickly reminds her Navy's previous words.

Sprinting swiftly as the wind itself, Geisha's milk white body becomes cloaked in the uncanny mist as she charges towards Iron Leaves, leaping gracefully over the fissure. "Night Slash!" Geisha's signature horn immediately becomes engulfed by a dark aura as the blade itself increases in size and power before she slashes at her opponent, hoping to draw the first blood from her opponent. She is full of courage, but also feeling Super Lucky.

So far, Airi has been enjoying her mini vacation in Mauville City. The heat wave is a bit challenging to deal with at times, but she is still determined to make the best out of her trip. Since she could not do any shopping today due to a lot of the shops being closed down for the day, she figured it would be a great time to visit to beach. There are a lot of fun activities on the beach that will stop her from being bored out of her mind and the cool, refreshing water will help her to stay cool in the process. A win-win situation for her!

After changing into her stylish Zebstrika-printed bikini that compliments her hourglass-shaped figure, Airi makes her way through the crowd of energetic children and sunbathing adults in order to make it to the peaceful azure water. Standing at the shore, she takes out a single Poke Ball, then releases her Swampert, Bean, the massive water-types eyes immediately light up with excitement as he took in the sight of the huge ocean. "I figured you would this. Let's go have some fun, okay?" She smiles at Bean. The Swampert nods his head before lifting up his trainer, then placing her on his back before he starts to wade through the water until he is deep enough to start swimming in it.

"The water feels amazing, doesn't it?" She asks Bean, beaming down at him. A cheerful cry escapes from his mouth as he continues to swim a little further into the ocean. Airi's keen azure eyes carefully scanning her surroundings for any captivating water-types, who may be swimming or splashing about in the water on this beautiful, yet toasty day. However, it is not a Wild Pokémon that Airi and Bean finds themselves encountering, but a familiar face. "Josh! Hi!" She calls out to the Gym Leader, giving him a friendly wave as Bean swims towards him and his Pokémon.

"It is nice to officially meet you, Josh." Airi smiles, extending her right hand out for a friendly handshake. Her ocean blue eyes shifting over towards the golden feline. "It is nice to meet you, too, Blitz," she gives the Luxray a kind smile. Her body becoming more at ease since the Luxray seems to be a lot calmer. Hopefully, it forgives her for colliding into them.

She ponders on his question for a few seconds. "Oh, um. I guess you can say that I decided to stop by to do a little bit of shopping. I am a Ranger Nurse," she answers him. She was about to engage in more conversation with him, but her words were soon caught off after hearing a couple of kids nearby crying out for help. Her piercing azure eyes glances off in the direction of the loud crying, in the distance she noticed a rather large ghastly fiend giving chase to some young kids. Without saying a single word to Josh, she dashes off in the direction of the crying kids and the Dusknoir. "Dusknoir!" She calls out to the Ghost-type. The kids immediately run towards Airi and Josh. The Dusknoir not too far behind them. Airi stands in front of the children and extends her arms out in a protect manner. "Josh, protect the little ones, please." She tells Josh. She makes eye contact with the Dusknoir, taking notice of the duck-like figures flying around his head. It seems that the Dusknoir is suffering from confusion and not in its right mind. Thinking quickly, the Ranger Nurse takes out a single Persmin Berry and flicks it inside of the Dusknoir's mouth to heal the confusion. The Dusknoir chews and swallows the berry. Within seconds of swallowing the berry, the floating duckies fade away and the Dusknoir comes back to its senses. The Wild Pokémon lets out a cheerful cry before picking up Airi off her feet and twirling her around to think her for her help. "You're welcome," she giggles as it places her back down on her feet. "Now, you have to apologize to the little ones," she tells it. The Dusknoir nodded his head, then bows his head at the children to apologize to them. The kids seem to understand that the Dusknoir did not mean to scare them, and both accepted its apology before running off to play with one another.

An empty Poke Ball falls from Airi's bag and the curious Dusknoir reaches his hand out to poke at it. A crimson light beams from the orb, absorbing the towering ghost. Airi blinks her eyes a couple of times as she processes what just happened around her.

In the distance, Airi's hears the loud cry of a Pokémon in distress. Without any hesitation, both Airi and Chamomile rushes in the direction of the earsplitting cry. Her deep azure eyes taking in the sight of a young Teddiursa dangling from a tree with its right foot caught in a manmade trap. On the ground underneath the Teddiusra is a lone Leavanny attempting to free the Teddiursa. Unfortunately, she was not able to reach it. Airi and Chamomile steps forward to assist the Teddiursa, but the timid Leavanny flees and takes shelter behind a nearby shrub. Airi and Chamomile did not mean to frighten the Leavanny. However, Airi did not take any offend to it running away from them. Some human is responsible for this trap. Therefore, it is only fair that the Leavanny has a distrust of humans.

"Don't worry Teddiursa, we're going to get you down from there." Airi tells the adorable cub in a soft tone. She then glances down at Chamomile. "Use a Swift to free it's foot." She commands the EleSquirrel. The Shiny Pachirisu nods her head before swinging her fluffy tail in the air to shot one single multiple-colored star at the trap, slicing it in half. Airi uses her arms to capture the Teddiursa before gently sitting it down against the ground. The Teddiursa watches the human with its eyes full of fear and worry. "Don't worry, I am not going to hurt you. I just want to make sure that you are okay," She smiles at the cub. Chamomile moves a little bit closer to the Teddiursa, using her long tail to tickle it a bit to calm it down long enough for Airi to assess it.

The Leavanny pokes her head from out of the bush, carefully watching the Ranger Nurse as she starts to tend to the Teddiursa. Airi notices a fresh gash around the Teddiursa's ankle from where the trap was pressing against its body. She immediately reaches inside of her bag to grind a pair of gloves, a bottle of fresh water, sterile wipes, and ointment. She gently pours some of the fresh water over the open wound, cleaning it a bit before going in to clean it a little bit deeper with the sterile wipes. "This may sting a little bit, but it will help you to feel better," she explains to the Teddiursa before gently applying ointment to its wound. The Teddiursa winces in pain just a bit.

After watching Airi take care of the cub's wounds, the Leavanny eventually walks from behind the bush and moves closer to Airi, Chamomile, and Teddiursa. Airi gives the Leavanny a welcoming smile and the Bug/Grass-type returns the gesture. "Leavanny, if you would not mind, I could use your help. A String Shot should be enough to protect its wound until it's heal," she explains to the Leavanny. The Leavanny nods her head then fires a gentle String Shot at the cub's wound. She then uses her knife-like hands to cut any extra string before carefully tying up the ends of the strings to secure it. "Thanks!" Airi smiles at the Leavanny as she helps the Teddiursa back up to its feet. The cub smiles and taps his injured foot against the ground, testing the String Shot bandage. As expected, it is secured and protects it from any extra pain. "You're good to go Teddiursa just be careful, okay?" Airi smiles at the cub. It smiles back at her before walking away.

"Alright Chamomile, let's get a move on. We need to check this area for more traps," She tells her Pokémon as she finishes cleaning up her mess. She placed the reminding parts of the trap inside of her bag. She will discard of them back at the office later. Chamomile climbs back on her shoulder and the two of them start to walk away. The Leavanny calls out to Airi, running towards her. "What's that? You want to come along with us? That would be awesome." She smiles at the Leavanny. The Leavanny beams back at her as she walks beside her.

Airi frowns a bit at Navy's remark about the Iron Leaves being responsible for the deaths of men and women in the Hoenn Region. She was hoping that her friend was teasing her a bit, but the Iron Leaves response to his words confirmed that Navy is telling the truth. She could feel her heartbeat starting to race just as she processes the new information that Navy shared with her. She did not expect to hear such words from him. However, she has to remind herself that everyone has a past. Most importantly, not everyone has a past that they can be proud of. Airi locks eyes with the Iron Leaves for a few seconds as she feels her heart opening up and accepting the Iron Leaves past. "Luckily, our past does not always have to define us. Instead, we can learn from those lessons and use them to refine our future," she states with a small smile spreading across her lips as she continues to look at the Iron Leaves, then shifts her attention towards Navy.

"A test, huh?" She asks in somewhat of a whisper. She is not one to engage in unnecessary fighting, but if the Iron Leaves wishes to put her to the test, then she will allow it. Perhaps, it will allow her to gain some respect and trust from the majestic beast. With its complicated past, it will be critical for her to find a way to touch its heart in a meaningful manner. "Alright." She responds, walking towards the opposite side of the field.

She withdraws a Poke Ball from around her waist. Her ocean orbs staring down at the Poke Ball resting between her dainty fingers before she closes her eyes, then takes a couple of deep breath to calm her nerves. She will have to put all of her trust in her Pokémon in order to defeat the Iron Leaves or at least impress it enough to earn its respect. She kisses the top of the Poke Ball before tossing it into the air, releasing her own mystical beast. The Absol lets out a petrifying howl as her blood red eyes focus on her opponent. The raw portrait of beauty and destruction. [break][break]

"Swords Dance," she commands him. The Absol's crimson eyes glow a gorgeous light-blue as she summons multiple light-blue swords around her body. The glowing swords dancing graceful around her body as she sharpy increase her attack power.

Airi finds it to be quite refreshing to spend time with Navy outside of exploring a dangerous power spot for a change. Overtime, the two of them of them have managed to forge a solid friendship with each other. During their first encounter at the Dewford Town beach, Airi would have never imagined the two of them ever hangout outside of work. However, fate seems to have a way of making even the most unexpected connections happen at the most critical time. A lot has been taking place in the Hoenn Region, and Airi needs courageous and trustworthy individuals like Navy in her life more than ever. Therefore, whenever he summons her, she makes it her business to show up for him.

"Thank you, Navy. I can't say that I've been able to do it all on my own. I've had a pretty good teacher by my side," she admits to him as a kind smile curls against the corners of her crimson lips. She appreciates him being patient with her and teaching her how to maneuver through the various power spots to appears over the Hoenn Region from time to time. She has a lot of personal goals that she wishes to achieve in the future and in order for her to turn those goals into reality, then she will need to grow a lot stronger physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. The journey will extensive, rough, and rugged, but she believes in herself, her Pokémon, and her close friends. She will become a better version of herself no matter what obstacles comes her way.

Airi's feet comes to a halt the moment she notices a majestic deer-like creature emerging from the dark shadows of the woods. The cyborg's movements were graceful, yet powerful. It's metallic coat shimmering like emeralds and pink spinel underneath the daylight. Her cool azure eyes twinkling with wonder and astonishment. "It's absolutely beautiful," she speaks softly, a gentle smile finding its way across her lips as she slowly extended her right hand out in a nonthreatening manner to see if the Iron Leaves would choose to approach her or not.

Airi and Chamomile's eyes soon widen in awe, watching the beautiful sight of a majestic Dewgong emerging from the serene body of water and performing a stunning aerial flip before diving gracefully into the sparkling water. "Wow! That was amazing, wasn't it?" Airi asks her Shiny Pachirisu, the small Electric-type cheered with excitement as she waved her long, fluffy tail and clapped her tiny paws together. "I bet there are a lot of another cool Pokémon, living around here, too! Who knows, we might be able to find a pretty rare one or at least one that would be helpful when I am not doing missions and need to heal others," she adds, continuing to walk along the shore.

The firm grip against her shirt seems to have been enough at least snap Airi back into reality. Her deep azure eyes still slightly teary-eyed as she listened to the young trainer's words. His words sting a little bit, but there is the truth. She takes the sleeve of her uniform to wipe away the shiny tears dripping down her face, then nods her head at Aaron. "You're right!" She gives him a soft smile as she turns her attention towards back towards the battlefield. A slight frown creeping across her face as she watches the opaque tidal wave makes it way towards them. She uses grabs Aaron by his wrists as she uses her nimble movements to seek shelter behind her Venusaur. The resting plant-like amphibian's colossal body soaking up the water and protecting the humans behind him. Unfortunately, a few splatters of mud still managed to land on Airi's uniform and staining it.

After the tidal wave vanished away, Airi released her grip on the young boy before stepping out from behind the Venusaur and shifting her fiery-blue eyes towards the masked man. "Team Rocket has caused this city enough pain and suffering! Leave, please!" She yells out at him, molding her dainty hands into powerful fists. Unfortunately, their opponent does not seem to have any desire to respect to her request. Airi took a few steps away as the Team Rocket Grunt released a terrifying Paradox Pokémon. How was he able to obtain such a rare and Pokémon she has no idea, but she knows that she will have to work together with Aaron to take it down.

The glowing, levitating rocks being controlled by the Raging Bolt quickly shower down against Matcha's head, knocking him out for the rest of the battle. A low growl escapes from Airi's lips as she recalls her Venusaur. "I wish that this battle could end another way, but it does not seem like you are going to show any mercy on this city. Therefore, I am going to have to do whatever it takes to finish you off, then rescue the people in need," she adds, snatching another Poke Ball from around her waist, then releasing her sturdy Swarmpert out onto the field.

"Bean, use Earthquake!" She commands her Pokémon. The aquatic beast lets out a loud roar as he slams his well-built arms around the ground. The powerful blow to the ground causes the ground to shake violently as white shockwaves emerges from the ground to inflict damage on its opponent.

The dark-haired male did not seem to be too upset by Airi accidently bumping into him and his Pokémon. However, she could not say the same thing about his Shiny Luxray. The dark brown-haired girl swiftly took a few seconds away from the trainer and his Pokémon, trying her best to protect their personal space without risking anyone else any harm. "Yeah, I have notice," Airi chuckles nervously, keeping a watchful eye on the golden feline. "I have never seen a Luxray this size before," she adds, her deep azure eyes carefully making a quick observation of the Luxray. Her eyes then travel towards Josh, attempting to make eye contact with him for a few seconds. His face seems somewhat familiar to her, but she cannot place when or where she has encountered him. It could have been in person, or it could have been on a photo or anything.

"I am Airi by the way," she introduces herself to Josh. She would have extended her hand out for a friendly handshake, but she did not wish to upset the Luxray again. Instead, she waits for Josh to make the next move. "Anyway, is there anything I can do to make up for bumping into you two?" She asks, genuinely asking if there is anything she can do to cheer them up.

As her eyes continues to peer towards Petalburg Woods, the sight of the massive, oddly color bee would become more visible to her. She could feel her heartbeat starting to incase a bit as some anxiety begins to build up inside of her body. The images of a Beedrill almost stinging her as a little girl playing rapidly in her mind. Normally, she would attempt to make an escape from the Bug/Poison-type Pokémon, but the loud buzzing noise made it rather hard for her body to move. The vibrations causing some of the grass near her to take flight and jet pass her. Luckily, she is able to extend her arms and cross them over her head to shield her eyes from any damage from the whirling grass. Even Bean had to think fast and take a quick dive underneath the water to protect himself.

Eventually, the overpowering buzzing sound comes to an end and Airi is able to lower her arms from her face. She takes in the sight of the killer bee and her trainer. "A-A Bee-Beedrill!" She manages to say, slowly taking a few seconds away from the creature. If it is not bad enough that she has to deal with a Beedrill, the mocha-hued hair ranger took a few steps too many and her feet slipped against the edge of the body of water. A quick scream escapes from her mouth as she starts to fall backwards. Luckily for her, Bean was able to get to get fast enough before she took a dip inside of the water. The Swarmpert caught his trainer in his arms, then lifted her back up onto the ground. "C-can you two stay over there for a bit?" She requested of them as she tries to use one of her deep breathing techniques to help her to calm down her nerves a bit.

A smirk shows over Airi's lips, watching Navy call out two his own Pokémon to help assist Chamomile with taking out their opponent. As usual, his powerful Pokémon are able to defeat their opponent flawlessly without breaking too much a sweat. Unfortunately, before taking out the Squirtle, it managed to drench them with a downpour, something that Airi was not expecting at all. A heavy sigh escapes from her mouth as she glances down at her completely soaked uniform hugging tightly against her womanly curves.

"Yeah, let's head back. I cannot wait to get out of these wet clothes. At this point, I'm going to come in a swimsuit the next time," she jokes, glancing down at her dripping wet uniform. She sighs, then returns Chamomile back to her Poke Ball. "Don't worry, Trent. I will be sure to care for you and your Pokémon, once we've made it outside," she assured the teenager.

A few soft giggles escape from Airi's sweet lips as her sapphire eyes watched her Shiny Pachirisu chase after her long, fluffy tail. "Chamomile, are you going to chase after your tail all day or are you going to help me find some new Pokémon?" She asks the EleSquirrel with a gentle smile spread across her lips. The Shiny Pachirisu swiftly comes to halt, then turns her attention towards her trainer. She lets out a few giggles of her own before taking a great leap in the air to land on her trainer's left shoulder. "Alright, that's more like it," Airi gently pats her electric type on her head before she starts to walk further along the route in search of some Wild Pokémon to potentially join her team.

"Of course!" Airi smiles, then nods her head at Annalise's question. "You have a kind spirit, and you seem to be quite humble. Those traits make it easier for others to relate to you," she adds, her smile widening a little bit more.

Airi grew silent for a few seconds after hearing Annalise's next words. She would be lying if she told the captain that she never thought about becoming captain in the future. However, she just does not know if she is truly ready for such an important role. "Well, to be honest I cannot say that I never thought about it. It is just... I am not sure if I am fully ready yet?" She confides in her. "I know, it is probably just a lot of self-doubt on my half that I need to overcome," she adds, giving Annalise a soft smile. Perhaps, if Annalise seems something in her, then it may encourage her to overcome her self-doubts in the future.

"Perfect. Route 115 it is." Airi smiles at Annalise. She could not request a better partner to take on this mission with her. The two of them make quite the dynamic duo in her opinion.

"I'm going to go with you! I want to do a second check-up once we have relocated them just to make sure that their health is improving," she answers her, carefully lifting up her Swablu and carrying it inside of her arms. "Do you have a Pokémon with you that is capable of flying? I believe that it would be a lot quicker if we can fly them there. If not, then you're more than welcome to ride on mine," she offers.
