Keiko's satchel was lightweight for once. She only owed one parcel for delivery, but it was for an unmarked property. She couldn't expect Pelipper to know where to go. Besides, a foot delivery wasn't the worst thing .The weather today was even nice. But she found herself humming made-up tunes to keep herself occupied. The path was uneventful and Pelipper was resting, so she didn't want to bring him out just for her entertainment.

Pelipper was a hoverer. He was far too worried about her to let her Mantine surf without proximity to him. She rolled her eyes since he couldn't see it. He was a bit of a mother hen, even though she had surfed several times in Sinnoh. This was just a different setting, but her skills were the same. "I've got this," she assured him as she prepared to perform a trick. She didn't normally do anything so showy, but it wasn't like a hundred people were watching her, either. It was low pressure but high reward.

Pelipper circled the boat. Keiko leaned over the edge as if she could see the Clamperl tucked into the reef. Sunlight danced against the waves and reflected back, obscuring anything just above the surface. "No time like the present." She made sure she had no important belongings on her person that would be destroyed in the water. Then, she offered a thumbs up to Pelipper above, who cawed in acknowledgement. She determined she was good to go and dived in.
